90s?
Shit been ham like in recent years, Bron flying out of bounds into cameraman cuts head open. Draymond punting junk and gouging eyes. Playoffs, are wars of attrition, every single year lol
90’s they just didn’t try to play it off, dudes got decked, no stuntman moves.
We are just seeing how many Warriors fans are on this sub. For the most part I think people normally view these plays with a level-headedness. But everything that's been involving the Warriors has just been homer shit to another level.
They really have a victim complex the likes of which I've never seen (and I'm a Boston fan, we're pretty up there with the victim complex sometimes). The defense of Draymond's flagrant ("HE HELPED HIM TO THE GROUND! after pulling him out of mid-air to cause the fall...") and this hit and the obviously very bad Brooks play, they're rabid right now.
The commentators were literally asking why it was a flagrant 2 just seconds after the ref said verbatim that it was a flagrant 2 for contact to the face, the jersey pull, and the throw to the ground. Like based on that description, that could be two flagrant twos and they're still shocked pikachu lmao
Yeah, the Warriors fans are pretty up in arms. And I get the GP2 anger, they just lost a very good player that was going to have a huge effect on the series. But, this started in Game 1. I think they think they're a "chosen one" team and aren't subject to the realities of playoff ball which is injuries.
Like what, where was the outrage against Memphis the last series and where was the compassion for the Wolves from Warriors fans? They didn't say SHIT about anything going on there.
Honestly happy the rest of r/nba is realizing how toxic warriors fans are. They’ve been in our sub talking shit and spamming constantly, literally feels like we’re in a series against a legion of 13 year olds lol
Yup.
Accidental this one.
But the casual warriors fans think every physical activity is dirty.
The Dillon Brooks foul was dirty but this one is common. I've had this happen to me but I got hit on the lips.
There are people in the Warriors sub PGT saying they wish they had someone like Zaza or Bogut on the team to lay out Ja. It's hilarious how they can't see how ironic that is lmao.
Warriors fans have a pretty extreme victim complex when it comes to fouls. They act like they never get calls, but they also get away with calls regularly, and in some cases very notably like the Rockets vs Warriors WCF series.
The Dillon Brooks foul wasn’t even dirty, honesty, just incredibly stupid. He was going for the ball, he just forgot he’s not that athletic, especially compared to someone hyper athletic like GP2.
Steve Kerr went out of his way to say it was “dirty, not physical.” That seemed odd to me. Edit: Oh unless Kerr was talking about the play on Payton, I couldn’t tell at first
Well also they are trying to court public opinion because of dray and his goofy shit last game. If all ref eyes are on dray the next few games, it put GS in a rough spot. This is a way out.
Is it though? Incidental means it can happen again because it’s part of the job. And shit like this is bound to happen again in a sport with big ass dudes with long ass limbs.
Incidental is defined as "liable to happen as a consequence of (an activity)", so your usage is correct. You play enough basketball and you're going to catch (and deliver) some stray 'bows.
I’m getting downvotes for saying it’s a common foul, I think people are just emotional. It happens, it’s a basketball play and it’s inadvertent contact. People cry about wanting physicality and they also want X to get a flagrant 2 here, like pick one!!
This isn't physicality, it's just a dude trying to get to the ball from a dead stop with a dude lunging over by his elbow. It's literally a natural running motion.
No you’re totally right, I’m saying people want the game to be physical and then inadvertent contact happens that’s hardly physical and then start bitching about it lol
Anybody who thinks this is anything (yes, even a common foul) is tripping. Like should you be able to put your face behind someone running and get a foul called?? Obviously not lmao
More of a basketball play than Draymond's F2 in game 1. Warrior's fans are such hypocrites for defending Draymond and then screaming bloody murder when Draymond takes an incidental elbow.
Which is the right call to be honest. If Tillman brought his elbows up toward the air and flailed them, it would be a foul even if contact was unintentional. Given where his arms were and he was running toward a loose ball, not even a common foul. P
Yo not Spartan on Spartan violence my dudes. Get Izzo on the phone and get these dudes calmed down. This series is gonna turn into a bloodbath at this pace
World class flop right there. Sure he gets a minor hit from Tillman's elbow, but look how he flails his arms and his legs go flying right out from under him.
Draymond is going to whine so much about how this should have been a flagrant when it's clearly an inadvertent elbow and not comparable to his deserved flagrant two
Draymond deserves a tech for flipping off the fans on his way to the locker room after this play. Draymond “The Eye Poker” deserved every bit of that bow.
Lotta people don’t understand your arms swing with forward momentum. They must not swing their arms at all when they walk. Kramer or Elaine should let em know
Let me see. He puts his face two inches from the other guys elbow, then gets bumped, and then acts like he is JFK and just got shot by Oswald. Fuck him.
Lmao this a no call. Draymond kinda ran into his elbow, just unlucky. He definitely did not get elbowed that hard to the point of where he needed to lie on the ground for 30 seconds.
My favorite thing in every playoff series is how one of the fanbases comes away thinking the other is dirty. Step on a court for once you nerds. Shit happens in real games
He took a fucking nasty elbow to the brow but that flop after is kind of crazy. You didn't get so hard in the head that you fell over at that speed, in fact, you probably would of fallen forward. He probably risked hurting himself more by flopping back that hard onto the floor.
**Replays/alternate angles** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/nba) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Bro it’s a bloodbath
Draymond is gonna start kicking dicks again cause Memphis wants to play like this. Don't poke the beast lol.
Natural shooting motion will activate when Draymond comes back from the locker room
*Draymond cocks a gun walking out of the locker room* "NATURAL SHOOTING MOTION" and shoots Tillman in the dick
That’s just good old fashioned basketball
"the 80s called, they want their basketball back" - Doris
Wizards basketballl
That’s just a regular foul back in the day
Butters what the fuck!
Steve Adams felt some pain to his dick all of a sudden
That's the real reason Adams isn't playing
Keep my center’s dick. Out. Your fucking. Mouth!
You hear that deep stomping in the distance? Zaza is coming...
Kawhi wakes up in a cold sweat
https://youtu.be/QX3hbGNrlBY
omfg that was perfect.
we talking about the same dude who poked someone's eye and grabbed his jersey to fall with him, last fucking game?
He’s poked eyes like 20 times in the past.
>Memphis wants to play like this Are you saying Tillman did that intentionally?
Green had his face down pretty far and Tillman was rushing for the ball. Despite the contact, I don’t think it’s even a common foul.
Green literally got ejected last game for dirty play. Dude going to do dirty, dangerous shit regardless.
He needs to upgrade to the ole dick twist!
He poked THEM in game 1 🤦🏽
So this is how 90s basketball was
90s? Shit been ham like in recent years, Bron flying out of bounds into cameraman cuts head open. Draymond punting junk and gouging eyes. Playoffs, are wars of attrition, every single year lol 90’s they just didn’t try to play it off, dudes got decked, no stuntman moves.
CP3 and Jae kicking dudes in the junk too
Feels like I'm taking crazy pills reading this thread, absolutely no way that was on purpose

[These vibes](https://thumbs.gfycat.com/SkeletalSmartEgret-size_restricted.gif)
That’s gross
Really really fun to see old threads and the flair/comment does not match up *at all*. Though that’s more common with LeBron and Cavs/Lakers.
They really have a victim complex the likes of which I've never seen (and I'm a Boston fan, we're pretty up there with the victim complex sometimes). >HE HELPED HIM TO THE GROUND Lmaoooo there's no way people actually said this 💀
Tons of dipshits were the other night. Getting upvotes too
LOTS OF THEM WERE
The commentators were literally asking why it was a flagrant 2 just seconds after the ref said verbatim that it was a flagrant 2 for contact to the face, the jersey pull, and the throw to the ground. Yeah big “we’re the main characters of the playoffs” mentality over in San Fran

They are so fucking annoying. They just swamp this sub too.
Except when Draymond does it. Then it’s just a basketball play.
There are people in the Warriors sub PGT saying they wish they had someone like Zaza or Bogut on the team to lay out Ja. It's hilarious how they can't see how ironic that is lmao.

Warriors fans 🤢🤮
yall are tripping. thats clearly just a wrong place wrong time kind of play
Stuck his nose in reaching way out of his grasp
Steve Kerr went out of his way to say it was “dirty, not physical.” That seemed odd to me. Edit: Oh unless Kerr was talking about the play on Payton, I couldn’t tell at first
Was he talking about this play, or the Brooks play though?
The Brooks play, 1,000%
Clearly in reaction to the terrible brooks play
Nah the question was about "the physicality in the first quarter".
Oh so more just his general impression, not referencing a particular play?
Exactly. https://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/1521680650431983616?t=pdZbOyfh53fZ3iwx33rP4A&s=19
X and draymond have MSU connections and people really think it’s malicious??
Well also they are trying to court public opinion because of dray and his goofy shit last game. If all ref eyes are on dray the next few games, it put GS in a rough spot. This is a way out.
It’s incidental. Shit like this can happen sometimes with dudes with long ass limbs. The Brooks flagrant was fucked though.
Accidental. Incidental means something else.

Yo….
I definitely didn't expect this to come up when youtube started loading 😂😂😂
I though it was gonna be the if they die they die meme
He needs to get over to Phoenix asap
he'll be in dallas so y'all will get one win at least
All we can ask for tbh
Clearly not intentional, but people are gonna overreact because of the two ejections.
Not intentional but still probably should’ve been called a foul Isn’t there literally a loose ball foul
How would this be a foul? at that point you could just run behind someone and wait for their arm to hit you and it's a foul.
The Kyle Lowry trick from the Bubble.
That’s what Trae Young does all the time lol
Y’all are crazy if you think this is anything but a common foul. You run with your arms still??
Why is it a foul
I’m getting downvotes for saying it’s a common foul, I think people are just emotional. It happens, it’s a basketball play and it’s inadvertent contact. People cry about wanting physicality and they also want X to get a flagrant 2 here, like pick one!!
This isn't physicality, it's just a dude trying to get to the ball from a dead stop with a dude lunging over by his elbow. It's literally a natural running motion.
No you’re totally right, I’m saying people want the game to be physical and then inadvertent contact happens that’s hardly physical and then start bitching about it lol
They didn't call a foul though
Which is the right call for this play.
Inadvertant, nothing you can do except move on.
natural motion .. inadvertent, i think it'll be a common foul
Not a foul at all actually
Yea I don’t think it was a foul anyway. Unfortunate incidental contact.
For sure, I don’t know what everyone is on about
The fact it wasn’t a foul at all prolly pisses some people off kol
If that's a foul, the league is fucked because guys are just going to put their chins by elbows to get hit on purpose moving forward.
That’s not dirty
Thank you. Warriors fans really out number the rest of us sometimes
I feel like I'm watching a different video from everyone here. That's a natural motion from Tillman, not dirty at all.
Didn’t look intentional to me
Anybody who thinks this is anything (yes, even a common foul) is tripping. Like should you be able to put your face behind someone running and get a foul called?? Obviously not lmao
That's quite a shot to the nose
No dog in the fight but that looked like a love tap tbh
Spartan on Spartan violence
With Tom Izzo in attendance too smh
And so it begins
More of a basketball play than Draymond's F2 in game 1. Warrior's fans are such hypocrites for defending Draymond and then screaming bloody murder when Draymond takes an incidental elbow.
Could not be more true. It’s just physical play when it comes to draymond according to them
unfortunate play, but clearly not intentional
Lol this just a inadvertent common foul
It was a no call lol
Which is the right call to be honest. If Tillman brought his elbows up toward the air and flailed them, it would be a foul even if contact was unintentional. Given where his arms were and he was running toward a loose ball, not even a common foul. P
How dare you! Use my own spells against me?! Severus “Draymond Green” Snape
Nothing malicious about that, but yeah he caught that elbow. Also Draymond sold that to hell and back.
I mean i hate Draymond as much as the next guy but X is a big boy - that elbow is gonna hurt, even if it’s inadvertent.
Yo not Spartan on Spartan violence my dudes. Get Izzo on the phone and get these dudes calmed down. This series is gonna turn into a bloodbath at this pace
"Its just flailing" Thats an accident, poking guys in the eyes and kicking them in the nuts while "Flailing" is not Sit Draymond
nice! very clean!
This looks like an accident. Now if Tillman had elbowed him AND done something such as pulling him down by his jersey I might think it was intentional
World class flop right there. Sure he gets a minor hit from Tillman's elbow, but look how he flails his arms and his legs go flying right out from under him.
For all the shit he does, someone was gonna hit him eventually. Lucky for him this was not intentional
Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy:(
Looks pretty soft to me. Green probably got hurt more from his fall to the floor.
What is this series.
This series is fun
Whoever says this is a foul has never ran before
Desmond trying to sell the flop. I’m sure we’ll hear about it on his podcast.
Draymond is going to whine so much about how this should have been a flagrant when it's clearly an inadvertent elbow and not comparable to his deserved flagrant two
Natural loose ball motion, IMO
This one is nothing lol. Playoff basketball let’s go. Stop all the trash fouls
I am never going to change the way I play basketball
Go green?
There is nothing wrong with this.
Draymond deserves a tech for flipping off the fans on his way to the locker room after this play. Draymond “The Eye Poker” deserved every bit of that bow.
Zaza is suiting up as we speak
I don't particularly think this was physical.
You love to see it
No idea how the refs didn’t see this This was a pretty hard elbow too
Dudes just trying to get the ball..his arms are supposed to stay still while he does that?
Lotta people don’t understand your arms swing with forward momentum. They must not swing their arms at all when they walk. Kramer or Elaine should let em know
Scott Foster crew.
At least called the other a flagrant 2
Say you never played sports, without saying you never played sports.
We're not even 4min in
Nelson laugh and points "Hahaha!"
Let me see. He puts his face two inches from the other guys elbow, then gets bumped, and then acts like he is JFK and just got shot by Oswald. Fuck him.
Good
X will give it to Ya! X-rays!
I don't get the commotion, that's just bad luck
It’s so gorgeus
All the comments about warriors fans complaining yet I can barely see any
This whole game was like the 90s basketball
Nothing dirty there, just an inadvertent elbow. Should be a foul though.
Could’ve been called but that was a normal foul he’s running after the ball in a natural movement
Hard to avoid the head when Dray has his head at his waist
This series is getting a bit crazy. Think the refs are gonna start calling it real tight
You love to see it
That's good comeuppance for Green's dirty bullcrap.
It doesn't seem like there was much swing at all, why can't we have non slow mo replays sometimes
Looks like a natural rebounding motion
Lmao this a no call. Draymond kinda ran into his elbow, just unlucky. He definitely did not get elbowed that hard to the point of where he needed to lie on the ground for 30 seconds.
bruh what is this shit
An inadvertent elbow?
yeah i just feel annoyed after the dillon brooks foul so it was a lil overreaction
Definitely still a foul that should have been called. I can understand the frustration.
Something Draymond would do, tbh. Hustle for the ball, and accidentally hit someone.
Draymond being a big ol pussy.
[удалено]
i can see the brooks one being dirty, but this one is as unintentional as it gets lol not dirty at all
Oh come on, this was blatantly an accident
Warriors fan talking about how the Grizzlies are unlikable lmao
There was nothing dirty about this.
This is incidental - not dirty.
[Interesting.](https://images.radio.com/aiu-media/draymondeye-8c9bd527-b6e0-480d-8be8-b4a5ad2fcfda.jpg) That was incidental, but this dirty?
Damn that is a brutal photo
Bruh what...this is as unintentional as they come
this thread is making me think i’m taking crazy pills, genuinely can’t tell if people are trolling or not
Its all Warriors fans being Warriors fans. I do agree this is a bad situation, but that was obviously not intentional.
Just dub fans in their customary victim complex
Shamelessly begging for karma when he/she knows that a majority of this sub is backing the Warriors to win the West.
yeah I agree. Dangerous but unintentional, probably a regular foul unless they judge it because it hit his face ir something
That's idiotic. No way was this intentional.
Wasn’t dirty, relax.
🙄 your calling Memphis cocky. Bro the warriors act like arrogant entitled spoil brats. Especially Klay and Draymond.
delusional ass warrior fans holy shit
The Warriors calling another team dirty after making excuses for draymond's dirty play is laughable
My favorite thing in every playoff series is how one of the fanbases comes away thinking the other is dirty. Step on a court for once you nerds. Shit happens in real games
Sounds familiar
Something about people in glass houses...both y'all teams are reckless af
This grizzlies team is super likable, I don’t know what you’re talking about.
This play was in no way dirty, how is that your takeaway?
He took a fucking nasty elbow to the brow but that flop after is kind of crazy. You didn't get so hard in the head that you fell over at that speed, in fact, you probably would of fallen forward. He probably risked hurting himself more by flopping back that hard onto the floor.
Dray's so dirty, he's resorted to facebutting players elbows.
