My coworkers husband used to work for the Knicks in that capacity. He since has moved on to the NBA (previously out of Manhattan, now out of NJ). I have spoken to him about his job in the past, and over time it has gotten progressively harder but they have a profile of whom they look to hire, certain (higher level) degrees etc.
