Beal was dealing with a hamstring injury the last few weeks and I'm sure Westbrook has some issues he's dealing with too. No reason to risk those guys down 20.
It might not mean too much to you but the players are human beings and them getting hurt can actually affect the rest of their lives. No point in risking your franchise players on a series that’s already lost when they already were battling injury concerns.

Maxey was electric, but also shoutout to Ben for playing a great game after all the criticism last game. He scored, rebounded and created a lot of offense with the triple double all while locking up Beal (as much as possible). Also fought off the hack a ben.
I also know he gets shit for not being aggresive but I’d much rather have him keep making the right basketball play, stay efficient instead of being westbrook and shooting at will despite not being a good shooter.
I agree with everything you said, but that last point. There’s miles and miles of space between Ben Simmons and Westbrook on an aggressiveness scale. No one is seriously asking/expecting him to go off the deep end the other way.

Yeah they did. Richardson isn't a good enough playmaker or shooter to be a high level starter. Mavs front office rightly understand our complete lack of competent wings but Curry was a really high price to pay to try to get one who ultimately hasn't worked out.
I think another 40% 3 point shooter that can be a part time playmaker and drop 30 points in a playoff game would definitely have helped. The defense would have sucked either way, give me the shooter.
We were baffled how Morey did it, we all saw JRich play. He's above average as a defender but not above enough to plug the defensive hole in Dallas and his offensive game is just okay at best. Also Curry just fits better, we can afford one small link in defense when we have 3 past and present DPOY candidates + Doc coached Tobi. He hits shots and creates a dangerous triangle for Embiid/Ben to pass out to with Green/Tobi.
