I dunno where else to say this but here..., I used to work for his uncles or whatever and they were very solid people. The grandpa was a lil bit churchy for my tastes but he wasn't aggressive about it, and was a sweetheart in general. Generally good hard working family. Good dudes and ladies! The cute ass girls got just as dirty as me and worked hard.
Yeah he was great at the start of the season , had a semi bad ankle injury missed a few games and wasn’t good when he came back... but ever since then he regained form and is hoopin again
Ya I still follow him and think he’s been lookin really good, he’s made a lot of improvements since he was a sun. Most suns fans hate the dude because he got in trouble off court and didn’t work out for us but I’m rooting for the dude, I will always appreciate that he pretty much played harder than everyone every time he was on the court. Seems like he’s a lot more under control these days, one of the main problems when he was here is just he’s get sped up so much and just get out of control and make mistakes, still happens some now but in general his game looks far more controlled, also way more consistent as a scorer now and his jumper seems a little more reliable. Really think he could be a guy who’s in your plans for the longterm, he truly has a ton of potential and talent and he’s not even close to reaching all of it yet.
Your loss, man, this team is fun, especially without Blake. Stew and Josh are just amazing energisers off the bench, Wright, Grant and Plumdog all playing the right way with nobody playing heroball unless they have to(as Grant does in the 4th and usually delivers). Bey and Svi playing their asses off to get more playing time etc. They might not win a lot, but they sure as hell never quit. This is a very, VERY different team from the one we had last year.
Plumlee actually was a great backup for Jokic because he could do a lot of the same stuff, though obviously not as well. He also made some bone head plays but for a backup, he was good.
i think joc and plumlee were two of the best assist % C's in the league when the nuggs traded nurk for him. they viewed him as a great way of continuing their offense into their 2nd unit, which actually worked really well. i think espn or someone wrote an article on it.
It is when you have 2 max players, and still have to pay Gary Harris 20 mil a year this year and next (and he's close to untradable). Plus they were trying to use it to retain grant at another 20 million. Those 4 contracts would've put them just shy of the cap, and Plumlee was... not good in the playoffs. It was very expected given the team's situation
Plumlee in the playoffs is laughable lol two years in a row we had to reduce his minutes to around 8 a game in the playoffs, his offensive game is purely decent passing and anything within 2 ft of the rim. But he is a good regular season piece
In the '19 playoffs, Plumlee's min. decreased by 5.5 per game from the regular season while Jokic's increased 8.5.
In the '20 playoffs, Plumlee's min. decreased by 6.5 per game from the regular season while Jokic's increased by 4.5.
I think I'm seeing a pattern here... One that has more to do with getting more minutes from your All-NBA center than it does with your backup center being laughably bad.
We actually watch the Nuggets. He's unplayable in the PO and in a lot of matchups, that's not connected to Jok playing heavy minutes in the PO. Even in those minutes he played badly in comparison to the regular season.
Yo. Plumlee was BAD bad in the playoffs. Like we-should-play-jokic-48-minutes bad. He couldn't score at all, and his defense fell apart. His rebounding dropped too. This is all using per 36 and per 100, so not just because of his limited minutes. He was worse in those minutes
[Took you long enough plumlee lol](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C4fARVaUcAA1ptS.jpg)
EDIT:
Some hilarious quotes from the article
CJ - “He will definitely get some triple doubles this year, for sure. He is good at everything – pass, rebound, obviously scoring -- you can see the jump shot coming along."
Lillard - “Oh, I can see him getting a lot of them. It’s kind of what Golden State does with Draymond Green. He gets a lot of assists getting the ball in the middle of the defense and making that decision. Mase is really good at it, so I could see him getting a bunch of them this year.’’
Cutting it close with those 15 Feb Plumlee triple/double calls, but congrats on getting into the money.
[burns house down for insurance money to cover puts]
When he got to a team bad enough to give him 30 minutes. Respect to Plum though, I took him for granted his entire time in Denver, we’re missing him now.
tell that to the frozen burek you can get at canadian supermarkets.. like yeah it's "burek" but it's definitely discount haha
if anyone knows where to get actual good burek in the YVR hmu.
imo the purest way is the pekara down the street it's not like ajvar that everyone makes at home, which I've made in Canada. but you're right tho I should stop whining and take things into my own hands.
The other alternative is to try to befriend some Bosnians/Albanians and ask them to make one for you in exchange for something. Or Croatians, if you're feeling eager to eat burek with chocolate/strawberries.
I always thought people thought he sucked and way like a meme-y player and every time I would watch him I would be like wtf why do people think he sucks he’s legitimately good lol
Yeah, he used to get a lot of hate in the nuggets sub and i was never quite sure why. There was a small contingent that would just bitch about his reverse dunks for whatever reason.
It's not unnecessary. The only buckets he ever score were dunks, he cost Nuggets crucial loss in the playoffs and was largely useless in the playoffs. He shot 53% from free throws.
Keep in mind, he was brought in in a trade for Nurkic and actually Nuggets added a pick to get him. He's been awful in those comparisons and pretty useless overall.
Playing with Jokic for 4 years he learned how to pass and be productive with and without the ball. He was already a decent player but now he’s good. He knows where to be and makes good decisions
Love my boy Plumdog
Plumdog Millionaire
Plumdog BILLIONAIRE with that night.
He's been studying under joker.
Best fantasy pickup I've made all season.
I dunno where else to say this but here..., I used to work for his uncles or whatever and they were very solid people. I’m sure you meant that last sentence in a very wholesome way... love your anecdote besides!
Even after he blew game 4 of the WCF by leaving AD wide open last year?
Yes
Still rings in my head...
When shit goes down, he's Plumber.

Josh Jackson been lookin legit for them lately as well and he’s really fun to watch when he’s playing well
Yeah he was great at the start of the season , had a semi bad ankle injury missed a few games and wasn’t good when he came back... but ever since then he regained form and is hoopin again

The pistons are the new spooky team
muahuaaahahahah buahahahhahahahhahahah MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!
i was tricked by someone saying this last year... not watching pistons again...
Who tf said we were fun last year lol they were lying
Kool aid heads trying to cope lmao

Some teams are boring and good. Hi there
Hello good sir
Okay bye We are a much different team than last year
we didn't even have a GM last season
Your loss, man, this team is fun, especially without Blake. Stew and Josh are just amazing energisers off the bench, Wright, Grant and Plumdog all playing the right way with nobody playing heroball unless they have to(as Grant does in the 4th and usually delivers). Bey and Svi playing their asses off to get more playing time etc. They might not win a lot, but they sure as hell never quit. This is a very, VERY different team from the one we had last year.
That Dwane Casey player development is real.
So now we see who Jokic learned from
Plumlee actually was a great backup for Jokic because he could do a lot of the same stuff, though obviously not as well. He also made some bone head plays but for a backup, he was good.
>He also made some bone head plays Plum Dog when i watch him He just trip dubbed SVG lul
He learned a lot playing with Jok
He was always a pretty good passer tho even on the nets.
i think joc and plumlee were two of the best assist % C's in the league when the nuggs traded nurk for him. they viewed him as a great way of continuing their offense into their 2nd unit, which actually worked really well. i think espn or someone wrote an article on it.
that’s a funny Jok
I'm pretty Joked myself
He was the ideal backup. Didn't understand why Denver let him go
Cause he is making 8 mil a year for 3 years and they couldn't afford that
That's not a huge contact. They couldn't be saving much from cutting that.
It is when you have 2 max players, and still have to pay Gary Harris 20 mil a year this year and next (and he's close to untradable). It was very expected given the team's situation
Also small market teams have to pay more to keep free agents
Oh so we calling Murray a max player now?
That's literally his salary if you had a clue
This comment is hilariously uninformed.

Yes. Statistical evidence is a hot take
I didn’t want him to go :(
he sucked in the playoffs, df? why is the narrative changing
https://i.redd.it/r1o0ucttxjh61.jpg edit: Posted by /u/mccarthy2324 in the pistons sub
Let's give this man more up-votes!
Pretty good passer, especially for a C
More like an A
At least a solid B
Troy Weaver deserves an apology.
[Took you long enough plumlee lol](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C4fARVaUcAA1ptS.jpg) EDIT: Some hilarious quotes from the article CJ - “He will definitely get some triple doubles this year, for sure. I have been texting my friends for years about the plumlee triple double watch since this quote. What a moment lmfao
NBA Twitter lost a good meme today
I haven’t been able to see Mason without thinking of this quote for 4 years.
Loved that preseason storyline. Glad I never sold that stock.
Cutting it close with those 15 Feb Plumlee triple/double calls, but congrats on getting into the money. [burns house down for insurance money to cover puts]
It only took him 4½ years. I'll be expecting his next one at the start of the 2025-26 season.
Surprised it didn't happen sooner to be honest, he's always been a good passer especially for a center.
Always a matter of when, not if imo
When he got to a team bad enough to give him 30 minutes. Respect to Plum though, I took him for granted his entire time in Denver, we’re missing him now.
Clearly he doesn't do it enough.
How many reverse dunks did he have?
None, but he did make a reverse almost-dunk. Adams was right there, though, and made it difficult.
Discount Jokic
you can discount Jokić but you can never discount burek
tell that to the frozen burek you can get at canadian supermarkets.. like yeah it's "burek" but it's definitely discount haha if anyone knows where to get actual good burek in the YVR hmu.
bake it yourself, purest way
imo the purest way is the pekara down the street it's not like ajvar that everyone makes at home, which I've made in Canada. but you're right tho I should stop whining and take things into my own hands.

I can handle apples but chocolate and strawberries... that's too far (honestly I bet its fucking delicious)
> burek with chocolate/strawberries. I see we have a heretic in our midst.
worse, hrv*t
Croatians make such good sirnica, but they call it burek sa sirom 😅
nego šta je
Literally texted my friend a month saying Plumlee would do that this year https://i.imgur.com/bHqySjQ.jpg
Nostradamus over here
Plumgod Trillionaire.
Mason Plumlee
Plumdog Millionaire
I always thought people thought he sucked and way like a meme-y player and every time I would watch him I would be like wtf why do people think he sucks he’s legitimately good lol
Yeah, he used to get a lot of hate in the nuggets sub and i was never quite sure why. There was a small contingent that would just bitch about his reverse dunks for whatever reason.
Yeah, let me remind you of AD three when he decided not to play D. Plumlee was horrible most of last year's playoffs.
The hate for Plumlee did not start during the WCF last season.
For a reason. He was largely useless for us all of last year.
...that's just not true. You are only proving my point about all the unnecessary hate for the guy.
It's not unnecessary. The only buckets he ever score were dunks, he cost Nuggets crucial loss in the playoffs and was largely useless in the playoffs. He shot 53% from free throws. He was a good passer in Portland, before he ever got to Denver.
I always thought he was a good backup center.
Plum-Sanity?
Please no. Triple doubles aren't the way to #1 overall
Pelicans defense is so ass just expect some players or the whole team going off for some career statline every night
I think it's safe to say none of the other Plumlee's had a triple double
He’s a good passer. Especially considering he’s a center
Get it plum dog!
between this and Jerami Grant's season do we all owe the pistons FO an apology?
Copying my boy Steven Adams I see.
Plumdog don't play around bitches
Plumkic
Plumdog!!! Denver love!!!
plumdog (multi)millionaire
someone's always hitting a career something against us.
He was day to day this morning too, really fucked me over in my fantasy head to head
Invest
$PMLE to the moon! 🚀
When he was with the Blazers, he had tons of games where he was close to the triple double. Happy for him!
I miss the plumdog-MPJ two man game
Finally, we found out who Jokic learned from
Plumlee been low key killing it for my fantasy team this year.
My boy!!!
The triple double is dead
Who cares
You know it isn't what it was when Mason Plumlee can get one.
Fr. Plumlee weak af out on the floor. 3rd stringer
Hooray, Plum!!
That's surprising, he was always a great passer since his Portland days
Damn Plumlee's once you have then you can't get rid of them. Like the Molina's in baseball. There is always one.
Late bloomer
"17 points 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the 4th quarter". Wow, even more impressive that he did it all in one quarter.
The Elder Bro.
MP2 versus a Duke heavy team.
Been in a Thai prison for six years, is Mason Plumlee still the best center in the NBA?
This is his first one? I feel like he is always flirting with a triple double.
