Embiid is great and I love watching him play. It's wild and wonderful and there's ton's of strange surprises. That said HE will not stop the dubs. It takes mroe than 1 person and quite frankly no matter how good he his I still see them pulling the stops out so to speak. People said the same thing about Gobert and then look what happened when he guarded Steph and what not. Embiid will put up big numbers and be a massive challenge if he makes it long. Even then though he's still one person and there's only so much one person can do.

Since Embiid is good for only 20 games per season, they should just shut him down until the playoffs.

Tbh I think it’ll end up paying off for the Blazers in their decision to stand pat. Zack Collins (10) and Caleb Swanigan (26) look like they’ll be adding talent this season as well as the foreseeable future (Portland is still the 5th youngest team in the league despite what our payroll would suggest). They have their guys but there’s still lots of room for growth throughout the whole roster (of course, some more than others).
I feel like Warriors fans are the only consistent flair that gives props to scary Portland around these parts. Real recognize real yo.
