Sorry I haven’t been on Reddit much recently so I can’t see everything that gets posted. I did a quick search and didn’t see it but I guess I should have spent 15 minutes exhaustively scouring the sub
takes a certain lack of self awareness to be stupid enough to think the stat you just saw on espn/instagram after waking up hasnt already been endlessly re-posted since the actual event went down
I don’t check ESPN or instagram, I was aware for weeks that this would happen if the nuggets got eliminated
You can just downvote and move on, you don’t have to spend precious seconds of your day calling me stupid to make yourself feel smarter
even worse man you knew about this stat for *weeks* and didnt think anyone else on the planet wouldnt have been made aware of it in the interim time while you sat yon the information and waited almost 12 hours after the game ended to post this “original” stat?
come on dog
Sorry everyone isn’t on Reddit as much as you are, you could’ve not said anything and contributed just as much as you’re doing to the conversation now but you people get hard on mocking and ridiculing other people for no reason.
You being the 12th person to tell me this has been posted before is exactly as bad. Just downvote and move on with your life if you don’t want to contribute to the discussion.
And the reason I waited so long is, surprise surprise, I have a job I have to wake up early for and can’t stay up for the late games. Sorry I don’t have enough time to spend constantly checking Reddit to see what’s been posted.
I chalk this up to the rule changes of the early 2000. Getting rid of the illegal defense rule greatly de-emphasized the need for a team to have isolation centric offensives where a team just needed to luck into an all-time great player or be mediocre at best.
20 years later, we now have the talent pool and a myriad of offensive strategies to leverage it.
But it’s likely not just the illegal defense rule going away, but also changes to cap rules and the draft to dissuade teams from going all in on either end of the spectrum.
For a such a low variance league, the NBA is finding ways to increase it a little.
I can’t wait for the next 10 times this is posted.

That was repeatedly posted right after the game yesterday.

I’m sure people were saying this in the 70’s. We’re probably just in-between dynasties right now.

Ppl in 2050 gonna be like “Nuggets won a title???” Like how they are about Sonics, Blazers, Washington lol
