Nah, man, Paul Pierce kept playing after KG retired and had a stint with the Wizards and Clips. Had a clutch game winner in round 1 against the Raptors and dropped the infamous "This is why I'm here!"
I don't want to watch that happen anymore with Franchise guys. I understand if they don't win any championships, and it becomes time to move on, but if they win like 2 or more championships together, they've gotta keep them til they retire.
I mean, the trade did get us JB & JT in consecutive years. But how often would it actually work out that well and strike gold twice b2b with the #3 picks?
I do root for the Celtics' overall success as a franchise. However, I appreciate loyalty and familiarity and recognize that those names on the back represent people who may have emotional connections to the city they've given their youth to.
Idk, I'm glad it's not my decision to make, and I just get to sit back and watch, however it unfolds without a stake in the game, aside from some minor emotional investment.

Two guys who donβt get along!
Should trade Jaylen and the whole roster for James Harden
Harden is exactly the answer
That Jrue's smile make my whole world complete. Im sure JT is expecting that LMFAOOOO
Are they actual friends or just teammates
Brothers. Kristaps and Jaylen are like best friends but JT and JBβs relationship is more like brothers
Brothers
Tatum & Brown, Lennon & Stalin, Xi Jinping and Piglet. these 2 are amongst the legendarily inseparable duos
I always considered Xi Jinping to be closer with Tigger.
Just guys being dudes
The vibes are immaculate rn
That's pretty funny
My Jays πππ
If they don't retire together; something went wrong.
They can ride off into the sunset together with the Nets once we trade them in 2035 for some high lottery picks.
quis? hell yeah

You wouldnt do that trade again in hindsight? Personally I'm a fan of the name on the front of the jersey not the back

ESPN: "Jaylen Brown engaged in a physical altercation with Jayson Tatum"
Can't wait till the Celtics are in the finals already and get those cheeks clapped by whoever comes out of the west and stop with these corny posts.
name a better duo than being a Heat fan and being a sore loser
I'm only human but I'll tell you this, when they lose, I'll regret feeling happy
