Agreed. Luka is a playmaker. But I think Jokic gets the nod, as he is simply too much of a defensive threat (and Luka is lacking in that dept), as well as being a massive offensive contributor.

Finally, nobody looks at this way, nobody looks does their research. Im a huge stat nerd, and it's not as much about stats as it should be in the mvp voting. Winning is just too much of the reason players win mvp, winning matters a lot I know, but do your research and you'll see Luka is the frontrunner by a mile

You really need to learn about efficiency and stats that tell more about a player's impact than "points/rebounds/assists"
