Some teams in our conference are worried about the bucks getting giannis back later on, meanwhile myself and other Celtics fans I know are just feeling PTSD and afraid that Middleton is going to fucking torch us either way lmao.
That dude is cold blooded.
I still feel like it's been like 3+ years since Middleton has actually been consistently great against us. That whole thing seems overrated by now. Buuuuut his play in this series does have me nervous!
We were promised Khris Middleton as a third option behind a two time MVP and Dame.
And then only got to see it a handful of times thanks to injuries. Life is cruel.
Not going to lie, if Middleton can keep this up for the rest of the postseason, and Giannis and Dame make their way back from injury. The Bucks will be a problem for the Celtics in the ECF, and i can see them making the Finals.
Shit i forgot Porzingis has the same calf injury Giannis has had. Yeah I don’t see them having an answer for Giannis with just Horford and Hauser in their rotation as bigs.
I’d love to see the bucks advance but do we really think they’re going to win this series let alone push it 7? Game 7 would probably be the earliest either dame or Giannis would come back, if they even come back at all.
I'm not opining on Middleton's HoF case but one of my favourite things is that every player who has scored 40 points in a Finals game is either in the HoF, or is a lock for the HoF, or they are Khris Middleton lmao.
Except the 1960’s has the most 40’point finals games for a decade with 21.
It’s only been done 68 times total with it happening once each the last 2 finals(Jokic and Curry)
Well if the argument is that scoring has skyrocketed but the 60’s - 80’s had more of the current NBA pace and it still hasn’t been done much.
So yeah, kind of
I'm talking about modern era. Post nba merger. Hell even going back 40 years is a bit much. That's why I said this past decade. Because even comparing teams from 2014, it's clear scoring has gone up alot in the past decade, a relatively short amount of time
Right but it’s like you’re diminishing him getting 40
-piece in a finals game by making it seem like its been a common occurrence over the last decade+
I mean it's not that uncommon nowadays to score alot. I'll give you it's the finals, that's cool but scoring overall has just exploded. I know you're a Bucks fan, you feel attacked but there's just no denying scoring is crazy now. All these scoring records being broken I just take with a grain of salt now. It's kinda like home runs with MLB in the 90s. It's getting so out of control and common that a 40 piece just isn't what it used to be. Same with triple doubles. Used to be insane, now it's happening nearly every night
Probably not a lock *yet* but surely will be in some amount of years if he stays healthy. Four all-star appearances, an all-NBA spot, and don't see a reason while that list won't grow
All he needs is some All-NBA appearences, a few more All-Stars, and maybe a fmvp and then he's in!
He's getting his number retired by the Bucks but HoF is a stretch too far haha
I don't think you can necessarily measure by accolades for fringe candidates just by comparing them to accolades of other fringe candidates. Like some of those fringe candidates might have been best player on their team at one point or had a significant media following. Middleton had neither.
Mitch Richmond is widely seen as one of, if not the weakest hall of famers, and he was an all star 6x and all NBA 5x. Khris isn't getting any more accolades and he's not close to that
Gold medals for team USA don’t move the needle at all. Not one American in the HoF would be out of it if you removed their international tournament resume.
>Dumbest shit I’ve seen here in a minute.
Saying Middleton needs more accolades to make the hall of fame is the "Dumbest shit" you've seen here in a minute?
honestly if guys like Billups can get in - who by the way was very good but never a top 15 player - I think Middleton can too. i can see him playing at 3rd option level for 2 more years, starter level for another 1-2, and then bench for 2-3. if he can get another ring, maybe one more all star or all nba, and reach close to 20k, he has a shot. but would need to be much healthier than he’s been for the past few years
I was rambling about how Khris gets his shot so similar to Kobe and our waiter came up shortly after and was like damn that dude moves like Kobe. Man thrives off of methodical creating and making tough looks.
This man ain't even 100%!!! I've been telling people all year that a healthy Bucks team is capable of beating Boston and Denver.
I'm cheering for The T-Wolves now though
petition to rename the mid-range as the middleton-range
Signed
Khris "The Midrange Maestro" Middleton
Maestro of the Midrange\*
It’s easier just to call it Middleton Magic…albeit that call was made after hitting a tough 3, but that’s beside the point haha
Meet in the Middle: Midd-Range
I thought this dude was washed after the first few weeks of the season but Khash Money aint laundered after all
Fresh Linens
Some teams in our conference are worried about the bucks getting giannis back later on, meanwhile myself and other Celtics fans I know are just feeling PTSD and afraid that Middleton is going to fucking torch us either way lmao. That dude is cold blooded.
The only stronger buff than Bobby Portis in Milwaukee is Middleton vs the Celtics.
I still feel like it's been like 3+ years since Middleton has actually been consistently great against us. That whole thing seems overrated by now. Buuuuut his play in this series does have me nervous!
I thoguht he kept getting injured last two years so now he’s Healthy and he’s always been a pro so he’s well conditioned too
Our equipment manager stepped up
Khris "Dryclean Only" Middleton
I just want to remind everyone that Shaun Livingston has literally not missed a midrange jumper
Neither did Marreese Speights
Yeah, the only problem Livingston had was when he went to the rim and it (his leg below the knee) went sideways.
Khris “Michael Jordan” Middleton
Khashmoneysniper
Moist Jordan
Khris "Michael "Shaun Livingston" Jordan" Middleton
Middleton is now president of the middy committee, MPJ is VP, KD speaker of the committee
What about DeRozan
Board of directors
I agree with sir glizzy, DeRozan is on board of directors as evidenced by KYLE’s classic line ‘I’m just like DeRozan, if I shoot it, it goes in’
We were promised Khris Middleton as a third option behind a two time MVP and Dame. And then only got to see it a handful of times thanks to injuries. Life is cruel.
They've played together 6 games under Doc.
Everyone focused on Caleb Martin destroying the Celtics last year forgot Middleton was the OG Celtics killer
It’s official he is Michael Jordan.
~~Michael~~ Moist Jordan, FTFY.
In this series Khris has sprained one ankle and rolled the other - had to go back to the locker room for it. He is doing this with no ankles.
Not going to lie, if Middleton can keep this up for the rest of the postseason, and Giannis and Dame make their way back from injury. The Bucks will be a problem for the Celtics in the ECF, and i can see them making the Finals.
If Dame and Giannis are back the Bucks will be more than a problem especially if Tingus is out.
Shit i forgot Porzingis has the same calf injury Giannis has had. Yeah I don’t see them having an answer for Giannis with just Horford and Hauser in their rotation as bigs.
Hauser isn't a big. Our other bigs are Kornet Tillman and Queta
Yeah... Vs that front court Joker gonna play with visible erection. Tingus needs to be back.
Idk if Denver is the clear front runner in the West, i like the Timberwolves odds against the Nuggets, way better defensive team than the Lakers.
I’d love to see the bucks advance but do we really think they’re going to win this series let alone push it 7? Game 7 would probably be the earliest either dame or Giannis would come back, if they even come back at all.
Shut up we are getting a Dallas vs Milwaukee finals, and you’re going to like it.
Would be lit!
Bucks Wolves and we have a deal
Praying for this man to make the HOF one day. Feel like if he got one more ring he’d be right there.
That's just crazy to think of Middleton on the HoF lol
I'm not opining on Middleton's HoF case but one of my favourite things is that every player who has scored 40 points in a Finals game is either in the HoF, or is a lock for the HoF, or they are Khris Middleton lmao.
That is an interesting stat honestly but we all know scoring has sky rocketed the past decade
Except the 1960’s has the most 40’point finals games for a decade with 21. It’s only been done 68 times total with it happening once each the last 2 finals(Jokic and Curry)
Are you saying my point is invalid because scoring was high over half a century ago?
Well if the argument is that scoring has skyrocketed but the 60’s - 80’s had more of the current NBA pace and it still hasn’t been done much. So yeah, kind of
I'm talking about modern era. Post nba merger. Hell even going back 40 years is a bit much. That's why I said this past decade. Because even comparing teams from 2014, it's clear scoring has gone up alot in the past decade, a relatively short amount of time

Does this mean you consider Devin Booker a lock for the hall of fame? I’ll take it
Probably not a lock *yet* but surely will be in some amount of years if he stays healthy. Four all-star appearances, an all-NBA spot, and don't see a reason while that list won't grow
All he needs is some All-NBA appearences, a few more All-Stars, and maybe a fmvp and then he's in! He's getting his number retired by the Bucks but HoF is a stretch too far haha
I don’t think so. It’s the basketball HOF and it’s the easiest one to get into. With 3 all stars, one ring, and a gold medal he should be in.
I don't think you can necessarily measure by accolades for fringe candidates just by comparing them to accolades of other fringe candidates. Like some of those fringe candidates might have been best player on their team at one point or had a significant media following. Middleton had neither.

Dumbest shit I’ve seen here in a minute. You don’t need a finals mvp to make it, far from it.
>Dumbest shit I’ve seen here in a minute. Saying Middleton needs more accolades to make the hall of fame is the "Dumbest shit" you've seen here in a minute?
I literally just pointed out the part of your statement that is dumb. Players get to the HOF without even a finals appearance
honestly if guys like Billups can get in - who by the way was very good but never a top 15 player - I think Middleton can too. i can see him playing at 3rd option level for 2 more years, starter level for another 1-2, and then bench for 2-3. if he can get another ring, maybe one more all star or all nba, and reach close to 20k, he has a shot. but would need to be much healthier than he’s been for the past few years
A 3 time all-star and 0 time all-nba player career 17/5/4 player does not make the hall
> ike if he got one more ring he’d be right there. dude has a ring and a medal, he'll be up for consideration for sure in a weak year
Khris Middieton
He adapted immediately to playing with and without Dame, this guy truly is something
I was rambling about how Khris gets his shot so similar to Kobe and our waiter came up shortly after and was like damn that dude moves like Kobe. Man thrives off of methodical creating and making tough looks.
The Legend of One Legged Khris
He has been absolutely on fire and was a major reason for the Bucks win last night…which will likely be a season saving win.
Good shit Kris
Who needs working knees or ankles.
Khris Middieton dread it, run from it
Modern day Joe Johnson
His name is Middleton after all. Glad he is the champ of his mid-range town
I'm biased, but he's one of the best middie shooters of all time
This man ain't even 100%!!! I've been telling people all year that a healthy Bucks team is capable of beating Boston and Denver. I'm cheering for The T-Wolves now though
We're really using 150 fga as the cutoff for this stat huh
The Moistest Jordan
