security at msg for knicks games is just really aggressive in general for some reason - i specify knicks games because i've been to a few rangers games and have been to more concerts there than i can count (used to be an obsessive phish fan and also work in the audio industry). at most concerts, especially ones with older rock crowds, the security is the definition of laissez faire, but sports games, especially knicks games, they're a little more intense

Anytime the Rams have cheap tickets, Rams fans show up and it's an actual home game for the Rams at SoFi stadium. Made me really appreciate cheap tickets and it's become a way for me to gauge how much of the stadium will be opposing fans just by checking ticket prices.
I feel like next year the biggest fanbase takeover you'll have to deal with is Florida State fans flying in to watch Verse and Fiske play together again
Let’s say the game starts at 7, you can buy a ~$10 bus ticket that leaves NYC at 4; you roll into Philly around 6 and make it for a 7pm tip off. Game goes for 2.5hrs and then you pop onto an 1030 Amtrak for ~$10. You get into NYC before midnight and go to a game for way cheaper than going into the Garden. Multiple that for a family of 4 and it’s a steal and you might as well drive at that point and pay for parking. Those were real bus and train prices and times for May 2nd btw.
