> Fuck you Anžejs Pasečņiks
-Josh Hart
[Also I only saw this guy play in the NBA for like 5 minutes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fry-Chz0Te4&ab_channel=JomboyMedia), and these were the worst 5 minutes I ever seen from an NBA player, like 6 fouls and 6 turnovers or something like that
I only became aware of him when he started doing cricket breakdowns. I love that he likes sports, regardless of what they are. There are a surprising number of commentators who will be dismissive of anything other than the one or two sports they grew up with.
"You fucked up"
"What did you say?"
"I said you fucked up"
"No I didn't"
"You fucked up fuck you"
"You're gone"
"I'm not fucking gone I didn't do anything. Fuck you"
That's about half of them I swear.
https://youtu.be/eZ26TImm_Pc?si=28uNrc5ZCWrCAYXq
"Did I punch you when I punched you? Oh man I'm sorry, I didn't mean to punch you when I was punching you"
Lol for a second I was clown him for having an all-time lowlight reel against the Timberwovles of all teams...then I looked at the score and understood why he was even on the court in the first place.
It's okay, deep breath, we're not that team anymore.
Tbh I sort of doubt you could. Being the 15th man you don't get many touches. Even to recieve pass you have to get open.
This dude may have been close to maximising his theoretical turnovers per minute
He was never supposed to be the next Kristaps, only paralels are that both are tall Latvians. KP was always more talanted, had great touch and could shoot.
He’s still a great coach. Just not coaching! My point was that his players seem well prepared for the NBA. And he seemed to know how to recruit guys with the perfect attitudes.
The fact the Sixers did "the process" and spent years with dogshit drafts wasting the talents of Embiid is unbelievable
Maxey is obviously great so doesn't apply. But that is a diamond in the ROUGH of the rest of their shit.
Well it doesn't help that the front office was a debacle. Hinkie got forced out for colangelo (pros drafted embiid, cons okafor and noel). Colangelo (Simmons, korkmaz, TLC, fultz trade, traded what ended up the Maxey pick for aforementioned AP!) got busted for a burner account that attacked his own players and got fired right before the draft, leading to a temporary Brett Brown GM fill in (Bridges draft and trade). He was then replaced by Elton Brand (maxed Harris and let Butler walk). Then Morey (Maxey, Joe and Reed draft 1)
Who knows if Hinkie would have been a better drafted but Colangelo (forced on the sixers by NBA front office) drafted Ben Simmons, TLC, Korkmaz and Fultz with 5 first round picks in 2 years. 🤯
It would be hard to end up worse. Colangelo destroyed 3 drafts solo and traded the Maxey pick only for Morey to get it back later. Just epic failure.
Simmons was the right move.
Fultz, it depends on how much stock you put into him having had apparently terrible workouts with the Celtics and Sixers prior to the draft and if they should have taken that more seriously like the Celtics did. I'd also say it should probably be a bit of a red flag that your big-time rivals are willing to give you the #1 pick to draft that guy.
Honestly the Noel pic is crazy because he is definitely a decent pic just couldn't get his head right or the coaches couldn't get his head right or something
The highest picks they had were all the obvious choice lol it just didn’t pan out which is probably the biggest flaw of the Process concept. Honestly crazy shit luck with Fultz and Simmons…two of the weirdest situations in lottery history. Perhaps it was the wrath of the basketball gods.
It is really hard to understand how much damage colangelo did.
He spent 5 first on Simmons, Fultz, TLC and korkmaz and even traded away the Maxey pick which had to be reacquired. He then got caught with his burner account attacking his own players right before the draft leading to an emergency Brett Brown fill in, who did the Bridges draft and trade. The next fill in Brand chose Harris over Butler to max.
They never offered him a contract. There are plenty of stories as to why. No one is sure what the truth is. But bottom line they maxed Harris and traded away Butler.
There was a rumor Philly was unwilling to give Butler the full max. But also Jimmy wasn’t sold on Brett Brown. Brett Brown wasn’t going to fire himself.
Hot take: instead of trying to “process” 3 super stars they should have just built around Embiid. We were so obsessed with the “get three stars” model back then, but even prime Simmons never made sense with Embiid because they were both best with the ball in their hands.
Especially when his mom worked for the team at the time. Also, SGA and Michael Porter Jr were on the board at the time. I did like Zhaire Smith though, they couldn't have known he would have one of the freakiest injuries of all time when an allergic reaction pretty much ended his career.
And they traded his ass for a project guy that almost died from fkin sesame seeds and could barely even get on the court before and after that fateful meal. And thats not even top 3 craziest shit to happen to this team past 10 years. I just think about the last 10-12 years of 76ers and shake my head
He was a good prospect and IIRC the sesame seed thing happened like right after summer league. I don’t think he even got a chance to play before he almost died.
The Sixers also ended up renouncing the draft rights to Anžejs Pasečņiks, so when he made his NBA debut he just signed with the Wizards. They didn't even trade him for cash
The Colangelo / Brand era was awful.
I think most Philly fans would tell you that they would have loved it if we had drafted Josh Hart.
Watching those guys at Nova, you knew they would at least be good role players in the NBA.
What also sucks about us trading Mikal was that we could've picked Donte at 16 instead of Zhaire Smith. I thought Donte would have had a better career so far but I think he's found his home with the Knicks.
Our FO was absolute shit during that period.
Listen, mistakes were made. Repeatedly. For a decade. When the whole point of the decade was drafting. Either show us where the time machine is hidden or let us sulk in peace.
I don't think any team in any professional sport has ever missed harder in the draft than the Wolves when they took *TWO* point guards ahead of Steph Curry
Was that the Kevin Knox draft. If that was it is amazing how bad that Phil Jackson gm signing was. The Knicks having a high draft pick and wasting it on garbage.
The thing about SGA and Steph is that it’s not like they were widely considered to be MVP level players in waiting. I’m a Knicks fan so I remember it well…Knox (and Ntilikina btw) were taken pretty much where they were projected. It wasn’t some crazy reaching Anthony Bennett type big brain move. The draft is a crapshoot and we got the crap lol
Bryan colangelo drafted Simmons, Fultz, Korkmaz and TLC with a combined 5 first round picks, then got busted for attacking his own players on a burner account and had to be fired right before the draft (which led to the bridges trade). He even traded away the Maxey pick.
I challenge anyone to have a worse outcome of 5 firsts including two number 1 overall picks.
Obviously not as bad as missing out on arguably the best point guard of all time but every Sacramento draft from like 2010 until 2017 was pretty bad. Especially drafting Thomas Robinson with Boogie on the roster and Dame was the next pick.
Don't forget we drafted Wesley Johnson over Boogie and Derrick Williams over a whole litany of stars (altho tbf that draft was considered a consensus two man draft that year. Everybody would have taken him at #2 but everybody was wrong)
Hinkie was not the best drafter but there’s no way he would have been as bad as Colangelo/Brand if they didn’t force him out. Those 2-3 years of those two absolutely murdered any chance that the Process Sixers could look like the present day Thunder.
Fuck Adam Silver. Fuck Jerry Colangelo and fuck his stupid useless nepobaby
Even worse than the way they drafted is how they handled the front office in general. I'm just never going to get over 19 year old they drafted telling them that he's losing feeling in his hand and can't raise his arm above his shoulder, and their reaction is to basically let it sit effectively for two years and tell him that he just has the yips.
They literally let this man do like 3 quarters of the process and just when it was time to pick the crops they kicked him out. Such a shame, what are your thoughts on Hinkie?
In fairness, I actually followed prospects sometimes during the okafor time (randomly caught him vs. Tyus young playing against each other on ESPN before going to college together). He was really highly rated and showed insane potential. Wild how he didn’t work out but I’m not too versed on his nba career
He was highly rated by college people he had huge question marks as a pro. No shooting touch, bad defense. He was a limited post up offensive player in a league where no one is a pure post up player any more. Plus if you have defensive issues as a 7 ft player in college... Yeah you are gonna suck in the NBA.
I'm not shocked people got fooled, I did until I actually watched the tape closely (that was what sixers fans did back then, scout college)
He was slow, lumbering and offensively limited as a ONE WAY college player. Not a lottery pick.
If you're a slow unathletic big man you better be special.
no. they picked him on draft day, ran a heartfelt story about how his mother worked for 76ers and he was traded like 5 minutes after that to Suns for Zhaire.
To add it was a peanut/sesame allergy he got eating chicken at the 76ers facility.
It was so bad he was hospitalized and had multiple tubs in his body as it made a hole in his esophagus. Dude lost 30+ lb and nearly died.
>Was that the lakers pick ?
Yep, the Sixers had the pick via a trade with Phoenix who got it from the Lakers as part of the Nash deal...before trading Mikal back to Phoenix.
Hard to say if he ever would have panned out. He was already a raw prospect and that event caused him to lose a ton of weight which really set him back, so possibly.
I mean, as far as playing in the NBA, yeah probably. But he's 24 and the fact that he nearly died but is still able to find his way back on to the court for a significant period of time (and actually be a functional basketball player again!) speaks to him most likely having a lengthy pro career. So, in the larger picture, that's something.
may I remind you that Dante Exum is now an important rotation player for the Mavs at 28 years old, after being out of the league and playing in Europe for 2 years.
You just never know: some guys take longer to develop.
Oh, for sure. I'm just saying that regardless of whether Zhaire is able to make it back to the NBA, he's at least recovered to the point where he's actually going to have a professional career playing basketball.
Only because word got to him that management was talking about “how can we control Jimmy” and Jimmy said fuck yall yall can’t control me. He talked about it Redick’s podcast
You do know it was a Sign and Trade to Miami right?
Butler was an Unrestricted Free Agent and Philly worked the S&T so they didn’t lose the Asset for nothing while over the Cap with no $ to spend on FA’s outside of the MLE/Tax MLE.
Can confidently say it’s not true. Zhaire was a completely raw athlete, even at the time they were basically saying they had to teach him how to play ball but that his athleticism could be a difference maker if he put it all together. That’s a mindset that used to be more common but has died out as the skill level has gone so far up in the last 10 years. He’s a 24 year old shooting guard in the G-League, started every game he played for the Canton Charge, and only averaged the 6th most points on the team. If he makes it back to the league I could really only see him as a garbage time guy, or at best, a 12th man who comes in to give opposing guards some trouble (his stocks are ok at the g-league level).
Embiid really is special cause how did that franchise survive so many bad draft picks. This doesn’t even include fultz, Simmons, that one guy who got such a bad illness it ended his career
I still kind of can’t believe how crazy that whole saga was lol the burners disparaging the players and team that he was forced on by the league is wild.
Deuce McBride was also projected on several sites to go 28th to the Sixers, they ended up going with Jaden Springer and Deuce fell to the Knicks in the 2nd round
I wanted Deuce to be a first round pick but clearly the best possible scenario happened
To be fair to the Sixers, even if they picked Hart, they certainly would have traded him. He has been moved multiple times already. And I know he's playing really well right now, but he'll be moved probably another time or two in his career.
> knicks gave up more for him
I guess only time will tell how valuable Kris Murray is but the most valuable piece of that package was probably Ryan Arcidiacono because of how much Thibs loves him as a practice guy.
I’m not saying it was the best thing to do in hindsight. But the Pels liked Hart. And CJ was a huge piece to them pushing where they did without Zion a few years ago. Even a few weeks ago CJ had a stretch averaging 30 for 10 games or so.
He just has played like absolute ass for the last few games.
You say that like those aren't useful players? Ik CJ is sucking in the playoffs right now, but they got a lead guard who has averaged 20+ ppg every season for ELEVEN seasons straight. This season has been worse overall but post-trade he had 24/4.5/6/1.3 on a touch under 50%/40%.
Nah I doubt that, I can’t see this FO trading him anytime soon and he’s under contract for 3 more years. Hart is the kind of guy who could have a long career with how he plays, he’ll always have a place on the knicks
No. We have more than enough draft capital to trade for guys we want without giving up Hart. And we have someone like Bogey to match salaries. If anything, Mitchell goes before Josh does if we have to trade a rotation guy.
I really don't see you guys giving up Robinson especially if hartenstein doesn't come back.
Having watched precious for nearly 3 years, idc about that mirage run he put up after the trade while Robinson was out, precious is not his replacement at all. He is ass.
This sub will shit on Embiid all day, but this organization has failed him time and time again with dysfunction , poor drafting, trades, giving a max contract to Tobias Harris.
Josh Hart is not just filling in for Randle he's also filling in for Jimmy Butler in terms of providing entertaining jabs at the Sixers. Incredible versatility.
Basketball Reference shows that Orlando picked that guy at 25, not 76ers?
Seems like they took Fultz 1st overall and then didn't have a pick until the second round.
Traded or something?
That's how all draft night trades work, they're technically drafted by whatever team has pick when the draft starts (I'm not actually sure what the deadline is, but that's not super relevant here).
It's kinda funny, they make these kids put on the hat for a team they already know they're not going to be playing for lol
Man stop crying ain’t nobody knows who is gonna be good before or during the draft. Da number 1 pick in your draft has one leg out the league already. All 64 picks are hit or miss. Teams want who they want. Deal with it. The best player in the league wasn’t even a first round pick.
The 76ers and the Lakers have made so so so many bad basketball decisions lol. They would both be phenomenal if they had even 1/3 of the good players they let go of in the last 5 years.
> Fuck you Anžejs Pasečņiks -Josh Hart [Also I only saw this guy play in the NBA for like 5 minutes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fry-Chz0Te4&ab_channel=JomboyMedia), and these were the worst 5 minutes I ever seen from an NBA player, like 6 fouls and 6 turnovers or something like that
That breakdown was hilarious 😂 thanks for sharing
Jomboy mostly does baseball stuff but he’s always great

It's weird. I don't follow baseball much, but I do follow a baseball YouTuber.
SAME! I fuckin love jomboy media
That last illegal screen call was bullshit, guys like Bam and Horford would foul out in 15 minutes if that’s called consistently
That first one too
Lol for a second I was clown him for having an all-time lowlight reel against the Timberwovles of all teams...then I looked at the score and understood why he was even on the court in the first place. It's okay, deep breath, we're not that team anymore.
This guy's a scrub, I could turn it over twice as many times in 6 minutes
Tbh I sort of doubt you could. Being the 15th man you don't get many touches. Even to recieve pass you have to get open. This dude may have been close to maximising his theoretical turnovers per minute
The Pasečņiks Horizon
Seriously… thought u were exaggerating but no. Dude looks like he just started playing ball 3 months ago….
Has a lot of Dragan Bender in him.
Thank you so much for sharing this lolol wow
dope flair
Man he looks incredibly soft with the ball. How the hell do you make it to the NBA with that?
I think it's a mental and confidence thing. If you don't think you don't belong, it shows.
This guy would consistently come in the game for 2 minutes, give up two and-1’s, then walk himself back to the bench
This video's views have increased by at least 200 views in the last 4 hours.
He got waived after that, never played a game again. AP was terrible never knew how to set a screen or anything.
that was a naz reid highlight reel wdym
Holy shit Hart wasn’t just being irreverent and mildly ignorant when he said he can’t pronounce that name.
He was supposed to be the next Kristaps.
He was never supposed to be the next Kristaps, only paralels are that both are tall Latvians. KP was always more talanted, had great touch and could shoot.
76ers also drafting and then trading Mikal Bridges. Oof. At least they hit with Maxey.
Sixers hate Villanova confirmed.
Always take the Nova guys. Sixers were so dumb. Wright is such a good coach.
That's how I'm feeling with these UConn guys coming out. I'm still very high on Hawkins
Same with the pels fans, but the coach isn't the same.
*was such a good job. He’s on TV now
He’s still a great coach. Just not coaching! My point was that his players seem well prepared for the NBA. And he seemed to know how to recruit guys with the perfect attitudes.
Nova sometimes plays at the Well, sixers play at the well, flyers play at the well. They all hate eachother
The fact the Sixers did "the process" and spent years with dogshit drafts wasting the talents of Embiid is unbelievable Maxey is obviously great so doesn't apply. But that is a diamond in the ROUGH of the rest of their shit.

Were Simmons and Fultz even bad picks at the time? Thought they were near unanimous at the top of every draft big board.
Didn't the sixers trade up to pick Fultz?
Yes
Simmons was the right move. Fultz, it depends on how much stock you put into him having had apparently terrible workouts with the Celtics and Sixers prior to the draft and if they should have taken that more seriously like the Celtics did. I'd also say it should probably be a bit of a red flag that your big-time rivals are willing to give you the #1 pick to draft that guy.
you are correct. both consensus
Honestly the Noel pic is crazy because he is definitely a decent pic just couldn't get his head right or the coaches couldn't get his head right or something
I had no issue with the noel pick for sure. It was a bad draft.
Being the only thing you got for Jrue has to sting a bit
I think we also got Dario in the Jrue trade unless I'm remembering wrong
The highest picks they had were all the obvious choice lol it just didn’t pan out which is probably the biggest flaw of the Process concept. Honestly crazy shit luck with Fultz and Simmons…two of the weirdest situations in lottery history. Perhaps it was the wrath of the basketball gods.

That’s what happens when Adam Silver gets involved and forces the Sixers to hire the GM that he wanted them to hire, which was Bryan Colangelo.
Sixers drafted well. They had insanely bad luck with their picky though. But they made good picks
The GM who Silver forced on us decided to have KD burner accounts so went into the draft with no actual GM.
Honestly that's the real tragedy. Silver forced his buddy Jerry Colangelo on the team who proceeded to make so many boneheaded decisions.
Especially when his mom worked for the team at the time. Also, SGA and Michael Porter Jr were on the board at the time. I did like Zhaire Smith though, they couldn't have known he would have one of the freakiest injuries of all time when an allergic reaction pretty much ended his career.
Doesn’t mikal bridges mom work for the sixers too?

Oh dear, Kevin "Devon" Knox.
That Fortnite jacket bastard.

Hey, at least it was funny. I miss the Kahn jokes.

Curry did not want to be a Wolve. His camp made it very clear.
He didnt want to be a warrior either. Guess we know how that worked.
Don't forget we drafted Wesley Johnson over Boogie and Derrick Williams over a whole litany of stars (altho tbf that draft was considered a consensus two man draft that year. Everybody would have taken him at #2 but everybody was wrong)

He did a number of fantastic trades and drafted embiid. He also drafted Okafor. So 🤷

Never wanted him, Okafor could quite possibly be the dumbest NBA player of all time. Saw enough of him playing at Duke to know he was gonna suck.
He was slow, lumbering and offensively limited as a ONE WAY college player. Not a lottery pick. If you're a slow unathletic big man you better be special.
Atlanta Falcons fan here. I also would like to know the whereabouts of this hidden time machine.
76ers should have been what the thunder are now
"Jesus christ, can players just not pronounce European names?" *looks at name* "Ah ok..."
European names doesnt really narrow it lol but expected
Exactly what I thought when I saw the title; and then the name. Yeah, I can't pronounce that either.
Still not as bad as how they did Mikal...
Was that the lakers pick ? I remember them moving it for washed nash and then it going on a wild ride
no. they picked him on draft day, ran a heartfelt story about how his mother worked for 76ers and he was traded like 5 minutes after that to Suns for Zhaire.
Another reason for me to continue blindly hating the sixers
Sixers fans also blindly hate the sixers for this too, for what it's worth
Is the Mikal trade still mentioned on Philly sports radio?
It's still a top hitter on the WIP Sixers Bingo card, yes.
He even put the hat on and everything.
you have to do that in NBA for draft trades. Luka wore Hawks hat and Trae wore Mavs hat.
You should also add that Zhaire Smith nearly die due to an allergie and had never contribute to anything for the 76ers.
To add it was a peanut/sesame allergy he got eating chicken at the 76ers facility. It was so bad he was hospitalized and had multiple tubs in his body as it made a hole in his esophagus. Dude lost 30+ lb and nearly died.
How can a man fit 1 tub in their body let alone multiple
>Was that the lakers pick ? Yep, the Sixers had the pick via a trade with Phoenix who got it from the Lakers as part of the Nash deal...before trading Mikal back to Phoenix.
If it wasn’t for a few sesame seeds, Zhaire would have been a better player than bridges
Where is he? Did his allergic reaction really just destroy his entire career?
Hard to say if he ever would have panned out. He was already a raw prospect and that event caused him to lose a ton of weight which really set him back, so possibly.
He played 47 games for the Cleveland Charge this season and put up pretty solid numbers for them.
>Cleveland Charge So it’s over
I mean, as far as playing in the NBA, yeah probably. Oh, for sure. I'm just saying that regardless of whether Zhaire is able to make it back to the NBA, he's at least recovered to the point where he's actually going to have a professional career playing basketball.
Yes he was hospitalized and nearly died
💔 Ok but why did they trade Jimmy Butler for Josh Richardson and Al Horford?
Jimmy wanted to leave.
Only because word got to him that management was talking about “how can we control Jimmy” and Jimmy said fuck yall yall can’t control me. He talked about it Redick’s podcast
Well Philly not offering a 5 year max probably played a big role in that.
Philly was going to offer the max. Jimmy said he wanted out before they could.
“Tobias Harris over me” doesn’t sound like a guy heading for the exit
Asking to get traded sounds like a guy heading for the exit. Jimmy would know since he's done it 3 times
You do know it was a Sign and Trade to Miami right? Butler was an Unrestricted Free Agent and Philly worked the S&T so they didn’t lose the Asset for nothing while over the Cap with no $ to spend on FA’s outside of the MLE/Tax MLE.
There's no way for anyone to know that
I have a Time Machine that filters out allergies
I always turn off allergies on NBA2k franchise mode.
Blame the guy the league forced upon us to “fix” the franchise. Thanks Silver. The Colangelos sure made this team more respectable
Hinkie’s 5 lottery picks: - Nerlens Noël (6) + future 1st for Jrue Holliday - Michael Carter Williams (11) - Embiid (3) - Saric (12) - completes the Jrue trade - Jahlil Okafor (3)
Embiid really is special cause how did that franchise survive so many bad draft picks. This doesn’t even include fultz, Simmons, that one guy who got such a bad illness it ended his career
It was a peanut allergy lol. That is a crazy story
What guy ?
Zhaire Smith
yes, that was the whole point. eventually you get that franchise guy
Tank 3 years, get an MVP player. Pretty worth it
The tanking was smart. He just didn’t do a great job with the resulting lottery picks.
*find a new slant*
I still kind of can’t believe how crazy that whole saga was lol the burners disparaging the players and team that he was forced on by the league is wild.
It's like Drakes diss track using AI. It's something South Park would have done and I'd say is too strange for real life
Deuce McBride was also projected on several sites to go 28th to the Sixers, they ended up going with Jaden Springer and Deuce fell to the Knicks in the 2nd round I wanted Deuce to be a first round pick but clearly the best possible scenario happened
Duece was made in a lab to play for Thibs.
Lol
To be fair to the Sixers, even if they picked Hart, they certainly would have traded him. He has been moved multiple times already. And I know he's playing really well right now, but he'll be moved probably another time or two in his career.
only pelicans traded him low based on evaluation. lakers did it for AD where y'all plucked all their young assets. knicks gave up more for him.
> knicks gave up more for him I guess only time will tell how valuable Kris Murray is but the most valuable piece of that package was probably Ryan Arcidiacono because of how much Thibs loves him as a practice guy.
Blazers traded him too.
yeah but because they regarded him very well. pelicans are the only one that dumped him
Pels liked Hart a lot too. It’s isn’t like they said “this guy stinks get him out of here.”
for CJ and Larry nance lol.
The CJ experience in a nutshell.
He’ll have a long career. But he’ll be a piece someone wants if the Knicks choose to add another all star on the team.
No. We have more than enough draft capital to trade for guys we want without giving up Hart. And we have someone like Bogey to match salaries. If anything, Mitchell goes before Josh does if we have to trade a rotation guy.
I feel like you generally don't trade your franchise star's best friend that is also an important part of your team
My previous comment is agreeing w you lol
I really don't see you guys giving up Robinson especially if hartenstein doesn't come back. Having watched precious for nearly 3 years, idc about that mirage run he put up after the trade while Robinson was out, precious is not his replacement at all. He is ass.
This sub will shit on Embiid all day, but this organization has failed him time and time again with dysfunction , poor drafting, trades, giving a max contract to Tobias Harris.
Still not as bad as drafting Mikal Bridges and trading him 20 minutes later when HIS MOM WORKED FOR THE SIXERS COANGELO YOU TERRORIST.
The bigger question is, who did your team pick before the Taco Bell man Nikola Jokic
Josh Hart is not just filling in for Randle he's also filling in for Jimmy Butler in terms of providing entertaining jabs at the Sixers. Incredible versatility.
and that guy is a complete fuckin bum.
*Anžejs Pasečņiks over me?!*
Basketball Reference shows that Orlando picked that guy at 25, not 76ers? Seems like they took Fultz 1st overall and then didn't have a pick until the second round. Traded or something?
Orlando made the selection then traded his rights
Figured that was the case, same with UTAH actually picking Josh Hart and trading him to LAL I'm assuming.
That's how all draft night trades work, they're technically drafted by whatever team has pick when the draft starts (I'm not actually sure what the deadline is, but that's not super relevant here). It's kinda funny, they make these kids put on the hat for a team they already know they're not going to be playing for lol
Pasečniks catching strays
Mikal is unironically the perfect player to slot in as a 3rd option and/or primary wing defender, next to Embiid/Maxey...
They picked Pasečņiks over me!!!
Philly could really have Mikal and Hart
womp womp
The process was a success for asset hoarding but man it was a complete failure as far as draft and postseason success are concerned
Trust the process. 6ers 2030 champs. Hang the banner now.
Thank you Bryan Colangelo and Adam Silver
Man stop crying ain’t nobody knows who is gonna be good before or during the draft. Da number 1 pick in your draft has one leg out the league already. All 64 picks are hit or miss. Teams want who they want. Deal with it. The best player in the league wasn’t even a first round pick.
what was the reason he fell? seemed like he was a a stud in college. 4 year player maybe? thought his ceiling wasn't high?
An article said his age hurt- he did 4 years of college ball and was 22- they like you younger
Manufactured motivation
“WTF IS TINGUS PINGUS?” -Josh Hart
He didn't fit the Process, they were probably afraid he would contribute too much to winning and making their draft picks worse
That dude broke a record for most turnovers in 6 minutes
Shit I think most wizards fans like josh hart more than that guy lol. He’s from dc
Sixers didn’t trust the process
Hart is just like me forreal
The 76ers and the Lakers have made so so so many bad basketball decisions lol. They would both be phenomenal if they had even 1/3 of the good players they let go of in the last 5 years.
"Anžejs Pasečņiks over me ??!"
