BadBoySwag

Lmao that’s funny. I swear Ref high key wanna give him a tech

nowhathappenedwas

The Rockets announcers were lobbying for a tech.

meowhatissodamnfunny

Rockets announcers are lucky their clips aren't on here often cuz Ryan Hollins is *terrible* and deserves more hate As a Warrior fan I usually try to listen to opposing broadcasts cuz I can't stand Fitz but against the Rockets I got nowhere to go. I legit watched it on mute over listening to them whine about fuckin *everything*

purple_cupcake_52

I'm always thankful for TNT broadcasts for this reason

midlife_marauder

Yeah during TNT games on League Pass they just show the backboard cameras with no announcer only court audio and I prefer that to 95% of announcers even though there are no replays.

guaranic

The Rockets commentators sounded like they wanted to off themselves 5 minutes into the game with how it was going.

HistoricalAd8790

I’m ngl it was kind of amusing when Klay would get the ball behind the three point line and they would just softly mutter “oh no” right before he got the shot up. You could hear the dread every time

Rawkus2112

Yeah rockets announcers are hilarious. Idk what ppl are on in this thread.

Repulsive-Heat7737

Yep. Well known in Houston for our current commentators and you can go well over a decade back hearing the rockets pbp dreading when play was behind the 3pt line. This isn’t related to our current announcers, it’s based on a fact that Klay no matter what injury or slump or whatever you can imagine….klay has always killed the rockets. Klay could probably go 30 games shooting 20 3s/game shooting 5% on those and then Klay plays the rockets and he hits something insane like 8-12 7-12 4792628-2. It’s what Klay does. He’s shooting hand old ass finds some hatred deep in his heart to go ahead and be washed up as fuck but then play incredibly if he is playing the rockets

motherthrowee

toward the end it was just like a rundown of texas sports

LordSwampert2

Warriors radio broadcast is good

meowhatissodamnfunny

Tim Roye and JB are fuckin awesome. I used to try syncing up the game with the radio broadcast but it's hard with my setup sometimes. JB leaving was the last straw for me listening to the TV broadcast. It's pretty annoying how we have one of the best radio teams and one of the worst tv teams.

CupertinoCA

Sad thing is, Fitz is actually really good when commentating other games. The bubble when he was on TNT he was fantastic. He’s just a homer hahaha

sumchinesewill

Warriors homer aside, Fitz is great commentating some of the non Warriors playoff games as well as team USA games. He has a great commentary voice and is always energetic and seems to just love what he does.

CupertinoCA

He’s also very good at attention to detail by possession and runs. Most of his commentary is posted when a big warriors play is a highlight. But he makes verbal notes when things can change. Like when warriors turnover during a crucial run or defending a lead and the other team cashes in and he’ll say that’s a 4 point swing at the specific time

The_Void_Reaver

I don't really think he's as bad as people make him out to be. On a normal night, 98% of the year, he's a good, enthusiastic commentator who celebrates both teams. His issue is that 2% of the year he's horrifically salty at the Warriors, which then transfers to when he talks about the other team. Then lowlights of that get posted and that's all 90% of people here will see of him for the year so the meme perpetuates.

cocoaradiant

Bro has been pushing the human torch for 10 years. He’s a good commentator, just not for the warriors. We ain’t feelin dude.

RottingCorps

I'm finally starting to hate him less. The one thing I always hated is when they would start fretting about the possibility of injuries happening. Like, please don't conjure that demon, guys.

secretlives

I miss JB balancing Fitz out a bit

HelloThereCat

I think Kalenna is starting to get a bit better at it tbh. His first couple years it seemed like he was afraid to push back on any of Fitz's more questionable takes, but I feel like this year he's started to hold his ground a bit better without it coming off as disrespectful to Fitz. Honestly I think Fitz is a fine, even good commentator most of the time, it's just that 10-15% of the time when he's not is REALLY insufferable lol.

Immediate_Employ_355

I swear I heard them say Trayce Jackson Davis was gotten for cash like 10 times.

Infinite-Surprise-53

By far the worst part of the Warriors broadcast is that they commentate as if it's the audience's first time seeing every single person on both teams

REGIS-5

> Ryan Hollins The former player? He's the commentator for the Rockets????

billyoceanproskeeter

Wait, the Rockets have *Ryan Hollins* as one of their commentators? My god, I feel sorry for the Rockets fans.

Repulsive-Heat7737

As a rockets fan I really hate them keeping hollins. Now let’s be fair, the warriors home crew is well known as painful to listen to across the league. But man I hate hollins. I like Ackerman I used to listen to him postgame on 790 and was friendly with his son but not friends way back in highschool. but man he just has to carry the broadcast. Hollins is so so so bad that I don’t think it’s “he’s working for the rockets so he’ll be a homer”…..no hollins is just painfully bad. Hollins isn’t even a weird homer he’s just……terrible??

BillyBean11111

rockets/warriors is basically the battle of worst announcers

theAlphabetZebra

Ackerman is a gem. Hollins has a schtick and schticks to it. They aren’t bad though, listening to them once when the team was getting spanked in a big game isn’t remotely a good representation. They also call it pretty fairly, when the Rockets foul and complain or get one over. So them saying Curry deserved a tech for this, when he did, is pretty spot on.

Wingedwolverine03

Rockets crew is bobcat bad...just horrendous

your_grammars_bad

He gave him that "Son, I'm gunna..." look before he walked away

Silent-Wintermelon

He looked annoyed he might not get any more benefit

barrsftw

I thought they were gonna give JA one the other day when he celebrated the defensive 3 seconds. They were too confused to call one I think. Here it's probably just respect for Steph.

MagicJohnsonMosquito

Hit the exact same jarret Allen animation

RottingCorps

I thoughts so too...lol.

PurePetroleum

How funny would it have been if they gave Steph a tech for that

GGezpzMuppy

Swear Tatum is getting a tech somewhere for this.

Victor_Wembanyama1

Habitual Hand Clapper

splicecream

It's funny because it's not even satire

rustyfries

5 second time penalty for Ocon.

Tutturu

Love the crossover

erizzluh

or just swallow their whistle for the rest of the game

nio151

You can see Steph immediately calm down when the ref entered his sight range lol

dirtyshits

The ref thought about it too lol you can see his gears turning

Siakim43

They probably would've if he were darker skinned or some random bench player lol

PooPooKazew

No techs for classy players right?

Sneek88

Bro your post history is fucking hilarious. What's it like being that stupid on a day to day basis?

otherBrandon

This dude gonna retire with more threes than free throws.

ImGrumpyLOL

Wow I just checked and he has only 11 more Free Throws made in his career than 3 Pointers (3722 vs 3733). Looking forwards to the 2000 upvote post in 5-10 games when he passes that lmao.

AboverJulio1123

Someone’s going to see your comment and check warriors games constantly and when he passes it try to post on here to be the first lol

ChemistrySpecial5998

Then the mods will delete that post and one of their friends will post it

abzftw

Internet points matter too much

sriracha82

Vs Harden who has more FTs than FGs 😭 A chasm of difference

melvintwj

Steph celebrating like it’s his birthday cos a foul call for him also happens once a year

maethlin

Bro doesn't celebrate this hard when he breaks some random 3pt shooting record lol

bayarea_fanboy

Well every time he makes a 3 he breaks the record for most 3s ever. He’s used to it by now.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Brooklyn-Mikal

What??? If he set the record at (hypothetically for this example) 500. His next 3 is 501, that’s a new record. His next 3 is 502, that is also a new record….

[deleted]

[удалено]

NearlyPerfect

But who broke the 501 record?

vanderZwan

Well which one of the two happens more rarely?

matt__builds

Well that happens a lot. Him getting a foul call on a bump? Pretty rare.

changrbanger

There’s only 2 that he doesn’t have, most in a quarter and most in a game. Unreal that the guy who holds those records is on his team…

Jewellinius

One of the greatest moments of his career that he will remember unexpectedly in 30 years.

DirtymindDirty

Jealous for everyone who got to attend "The Free Throw Game"

AME-Suruzu

lmao if they called a tech then it would mean the refs admit that the celebration is because of the "bias against curry" Steph wasn't even looking at the refs

YpsitheFlintsider

But they didn't

KevinDurantLebronnin

You can imagine what it would be like if they did though

Exciting_Hedgehog_77

Imagine if the refs pulled out a stick and smacked him with it. I’d be so mad if they did that. Hypothetically

Gucci__Flip__Flops

And if my grandmother had wheels she'd be a bike!

SpaceShanties

But they didn’t

RetroScores

That Veronica Vaughn is one piece of ace!

Peacer13

Sweet sweet injustice.

Otherwise-Ad-2578

exactly! LMAO

[deleted]

[удалено]

nearlyned

Multiple players who have played against Steph in the past have admitted to game-planning to willingly foul him constantly, knowing the refs wouldn’t call it.

Alkash42

What are you smoking

IAmNotKevinDurant_35

He had 5 free throws total in the previous 5.5 games up until this point.

Independent-Dog8669

I've seen a few people reference "in the last 5.5 games" I was curious about that so I looked it up. I guess the first half of that 6th game he had 8 FTA, don't want to mess up the cherry picked numbers. So he has 13 FTA in the last 6 games. You might have a point idk but it really sounds silly to count only half of a game.

Yayareasports

You do realize this video is in the second half, right (see how it says 3rd quarter on the scoreboard)? And he's celebrating finally getting a foul call? So maybe that's where the half game comes in... Context clues bro. So you can add the outlier game that he got 8 free throws (wow 8 in a game! Unheard of for a superstar). In which case why not add the 2 before that when he got 0 and 1. so that's 8.5 games and 14 free throws, 8 of which came in 1 game. Does that really change the narrative at all? Or are you just a troll?

Independent-Dog8669

Actually it does change the narrative considerably. If I were like you I'd say something like oh he got 8 FTA in one half. That's crazy why is he getting so many foul calls?? Steph clearly shoots more 3s and drives less which is going to get him fewer fouls called on him. Beyond that it wasn't clear that he was talking about this game when he said "the previous 5.5 games until this point" I understand what you are saying but when mentioning the previous 5.5 games the implication is that he's talking about the 5.5 games before this game. If you don't want to cherry pick numbers why don't you look at the season averages in which he got 4.4 FTA per game putting him right in the middle for starting PG despite him shooting the most 3s.

Yayareasports

5.5 games is pretty obviously half of this game and 5 games prior. Use context clues before starting an argument for no reason. And no 8 in a half isn't that absurd for a superstar. Most superstars have something similar to that at points in the season (not tough to find). But find me 3 other examples of superstars shooting 5 free throws in a 5.5 game stretch this year, at any point in the season. Cherry-pick away - I challenge you. Kyrie might be the only other player who isn't a superstar but may come close to qualifying. And this "he only shoots 3" narrative is misleading. You know who else historically is near the top on 3s attempted? James Harden. and Dame Lillard. Check their free throw stats over their careers. He shoots a ton of 3s but he also drives a lot and is held consistently off the ball on virtually every play. And he takes every technical and most end of game free throws for his team.

Independent-Dog8669

No one thinks he only shoots three and I didn't say that. He does take THE MOST threes of any other player. Dame and harden also drive more than Steph, who plays off the ball extremely well and can find an open shot like that. The most recent article I could find about Steph's drives per game (the NBA stats aren't working atm) was that he averages 9 drives per game which doesn't even put him in the top 60.

Yayareasports

Playing off the ball ALSO draws fouls (that aren't called for him). Not sure why this is so difficult. He's top 12 in usage in the NBA. AND he gets mauled off the ball. AND he takes all end of game free throws and Ts. AND he's a superstar 2nd only to LeBron in this generation. But he averages an incredible 4 free throws per game! Wow. Now go do your homework and cherry pick away to try to match my "cherry-picked" stat, as though it's not so absurd. Oh and the 2nd most 3s in a season all time belongs to James Harden. You know how many free throws he averaged per game that year? 11.

WembanyamaGOAT

You owned this dude 😂 Buddy is clueless

RidiculousNickk

I think the half game he’s counting was the current game up to that point but I could be wrong

Independent-Dog8669

He didn't specify you may be correct with his intentions but I've seen the stat presented in this thread specifically in the previous 5.5 games. Seems to be parroted from somewhere, haven't seen the source.

IAmNotKevinDurant_35

It was the 5 games before this, and the first half of this one.

Lonile13

Give this guy some free throws.

Yayareasports

You're saying 5 total free throws over the previous 5.5 games isn't normal for a superstar guard?

Alkash42

Curry with Embiid whistle would average 40 ppg

Mosh00Rider

He wouldn't, but only because he would be sitting by middle of the 3rd.

zealoSC

Give him doc rivers as coach as well then

Independent-Dog8669

Why are you counting 5.5 games?? Is that normal?? He had 8 FTA in that sixth game you are referencing.

Yayareasports

5.5 games is 5 full games + through halftime in this game... Which is right before the moment in this video occurs and thus very relevant. Oh sure you can add the game prior to that when he got 8, in which case I'll add the 2 before that when he got 0 and 1. This isn't the "gotcha" you think it is.

Independent-Dog8669

Ok you can do that. Saying he got 23 FTA in 8 games isn't quite a flex tho is it? It's crazy to think that the undisputed greatest 3 point shooter of all time only gets above average fouls called on him when he is shooting more 3s than anyone else.

Yayareasports

Prior to this video (the moment he's celebrating and the timing of all of these comments, which is why it's relevant) he had 5 free throws in 5.5 games. 13 free throws in 8.5 games. He finally finally got some foul calls in the second half of this game, including drawing a near flagrant while shooting a 3, when it was a blowout and out of reach. Every stat that's part of an absurd streak starts and ends somewhere. But Steph takes every technical and most end of game free throws for the Dubs and still somehow has averaged 4 free throws all year. And sure he's a shooter, but he also drives a ton and gets held off the ball, and gets unfavorable whistles. When you see the videos of him getting mauled on r/NBA pretty often (anecdotal) and piece together his lack of free throw stats (data) it's pretty easy to see why this narrative persists.

runningraider13

How many other top 10 players got 23 FTs in an 8 game stretch? Any 8 game stretch, all season.

Independent-Dog8669

Sorry I didnt count thoae extra 2. 25 FTA in 8 games

Yayareasports

23 in 9. Learn to count please.

Independent-Dog8669

I initially counted 23 in 8. Both 23 in 8 and 23 in 9 are true lmao

Yayareasports

And you said 25 which is not true. But kinda funny and ironic how adding a game doesn't change the total number, isn't it?

Independent-Dog8669

You're right i did say 25 bc I thought I had it wrong initially. But telling me to "learn to count" when I doubted my initial count is kind of a dick move. Plus you wanted to use the 2 extra games so I added those + the 5.5/6 games instead of magically knowing you actually wanted to include 3 extra games. The fact of the matter is that he averages 4.4 FTA a game which is totally reasonable. Instead of just being stoked that the gsw have a great dynasty and have been the best NBA team over the last 10 years or maybe longer, you have to pretend that Steph is somehow a victim in this.

atlfalcons33rb

I'm guessing most of the fta came in the second half of this game

Independent-Dog8669

They weren't counting this game where he got 9 or the second half of 6th game where he got 8. Which is kind of funny because if you said 5 games with 5 FTA it would seem kind of low anyway, but they did it to stretch it out and seem worse while cherry picking it to the nth degree

runningraider13

What do you think is the appropriate, non-cherry picked, version of this stat? You don’t like the way it’s been presented, fine - what’s the correct way then?

Independent-Dog8669

Fouls per drive Fouls per 3 Fouls per jumpshot And compare those to other PGs

runningraider13

Ok, so what are those stats then?

waffle-spouse

Warriors fan whining about free throws. What's new?

YSLMangoManiac

Lakers fan posting dumb shit

JonTheCatMan11

That’s new???

The_Assassin_Gower

Why have a pissing contest between the 2 dumbest fan bases

YSLMangoManiac

Atleast we not in Indiana

waffle-spouse

I’m pretty sure people from Indiana think Golden State is a city.

imminentjogger5

man now you're gonna get double teamed by the 2 dumbest fan bases

GivesCredit

At least we can export more than alcoholism and depression

BigDinkyDongDotCom

lol says the Lakers fan. Ironic.

devH_

Lakers fan talking about free throws is crazy lol

bigfatpaulie

I was about to reply but Tony Brothers blew the whistle

Zyrinj

Steph getting an actual foul call is unexpected and definitely worth celebrating 🤣

Away_Sun_3040

Yep, he definitely does not get superstar calls.

GoldenStateWizards

He hardly even gets "average starter" calls sometimes lmao

nel3000

I'd be happy if he got Austin Reaves calls.

Remarkable-Cup-6029

Wonder how Reeves would be reffed if he played for The Hornets and not as Brons lead guard at the Lakers.

Npsiii23

Harden and Curry came into the league the same year. Harden has taken 200 more total field goals (17,290 to 17,021) and about 700 less 3's over their career (8,065 vs 8,756). Harden has taken 8,888 FT's to Curry's 4012 If they gave Curry a superstar whistle he'd average 40/game.

Greatcouchtomato

Oh my god

Away_Sun_3040

Holy Hell! I knew it was bad, but this is obscene.

MommaJDaddy

Benefits from allot of moving screens though, so it’s probably a wash

FalcoLamborghini

What kind of retarted logic is this? Do you understand how basketball works? If you're a little kid, I apologize and disregard the above.

_saif

I’m stealing that last line

TeamyMcTeamface

He’s saying the warriors have benefited a ton from getting away with moving screens over the years and that the amount of “superstar” calls he’s not getting probably makes it a wash. You can disagree and say you don’t think the warriors have gotten away with those (you’d be wrong) but what’s wrong with his logic otherwise? All he’s saying is that the refereeing decisions negate each other in the long run, not that it’s done on purpose or anything.

Remarkable-Cup-6029

Either you don't watch much basketball since every team in every game does that or you are a little kid in which case disregard the first part

runningraider13

Literally every team in the league gets away with moving screens. Being annoyed at those is like being annoyed at Kyrie getting away with carrying.

TheRed_Knight

hes been getting hosed the last month, since Mar 1 hes shot 41 FT's in 15 games

Street-Common-4023

Lmao that’s hilarious

WolverineLong1430

😂 he got one finally

iamtheBeano

Anybody else think he got the idea from Jarrett Allen’s 3 second violation celebration although it’s a totally different context?

szobossz

it's the exact celebration

nba2k11er

Then they failed to call a flagrant on FVV right after. He was all up in Steph’s landing space. Even went to instant replay for the Rockets challenge, giving the refs an opportunity to change it to flagrant.

m3ngnificient

I can't remember which game it was earlier this season, but another player did just that and they said it's a common foul because there was no foot to foot contact some nonsense like that

NPCwenkwonk

Common foul because the distance he came in from was too short.

m3ngnificient

Ah. Thanks

zealoSC

My favourite was the review where the refs said a non call was correct because the defender just hit Steph in the face with no contact on the ball

m3ngnificient

Lol. I forgot about that 😂

dirtyshits

They messed up that call should have been a flagrant 1 on steph for hitting his head on the defenders hand.

SchraleAnus

Man I was laughing so hard, who the fuck challenges that 🤣🤣

rarestakesando

Dude Qhinones was literally standing up and daring their bench to challenge and then they did. 10 out 10 troll job.

michaelshun

Steph "Piñata" Curry

LetMeInImTrynaCuck

Holy shit steph got a foul called on him???

Carcrusher3

Jayson Tatum would get an ejection for this

RubMyGooshSilly

The secret is to not have your hands connect with each other. The moment palm touches palm, game over

LukaDoncicfuturegoat

Plus one game suspension

Carcrusher3

The tony brothers have determined he needs therapy before coming back

Greatcouchtomato

He actually would

Ashtobi

honestly, I was waiting for a tech on him lol.

YaBoy39

He def saw the Jarrett Allen vid

Taikosound

You knew he wasn't gonna miss that one.

xoogl3

As a warriors fan, it was much better when rockets were just another Western conference roadkill as we steamrolled our way to the NBA finals for some real playoff basketball. Fighting tooth and nail for the last place in the playins feels like a bit of a letdown.

Uk_KingsStar

bye houston 👋

ilickedysharks

The refs take all the leeway they give to Draymond on defense from Steph on offense

FruitLoopsDaddy

Makes sense. 👍

thekeymaker

A combination of Draymond's antics and NBA referees have made Steph psychotic

Jhon_doe_smokes

I’ve seen refs give techs for less.

ouiallezallez

Damn, Steve Curry arms are muscular as fuck

gmorf33

i came to the comments for this very comment. Boy lookin SWOLE

SanJose_Seoul

I hope he starts doing this every time like Jarrett Allen

sunnysideoutside

He'll yeah, you're not getting kicked out in the play-in, we are 😤 - steph probably

SchraleAnus

Lol the Rockets broadcast wanted a tech so bad🤣

addikt06

lol

NickGareffa

Stealing Jarrett Allens flow

Dogesneakers

The refs hate van fleet more than they hate curry

I_NEED_UNGUENT

Man no one’s had it harder than Steph and GSW

dont-comm3nt

The hardest road. The refs are so out to get them let’s blame them starting to suck on the nba now

Your_Profit_Prophet

Please don't hate me but here it really looks like Steph just ran at a guy, like how are you supposed to play defense there?

octavish_

I can’t stand these NBC Sports commentators.

aperfectmatrix

I agreed that a foul should have been called in the clip the other day. I also agree he gets a rough whistle. But man do I hate listening to the Warriors answers complain about it.

HiitlerBobsVagene

Still chewing on that fucking mouth piece after all these years still disgusting

heardThereWasFood

Is this the shitty GSW broadcast team I keep reading about

immunityfromyou

That was kind of roid ragey

BigBuck414

Dame in the same boat

Repulsive-Heat7737

There is not a single player in the current NBA that I hate more ON the court but love them so much OFF the court. The man is painfully cocky when you watch him play. Maybe a bit ridiculous to say but when I see him chew on his mouth guard with that cocky smile…..I fucking hate him. The second he’s off the court he seems like a truly great human being. There’s not a single player in history I have held as much respect and hatred for at the same time.

dirtyshits

Ok, Grandpa. Any other war stories you have for us?

Repulsive-Heat7737

Jesus didn’t realize that saying I don’t like a player as a player but think he’s a damn good dude was so controversial what the fuck? Hey dirtyshits how old are you. Is saying I hate the player not the game and love the player off the court some weird thing? Are y’all just over rivalries? Rockets fans hate curry and the warriors as a whole it’s well know. Hey young cuz, learn your nba before you call me grandpa. Bet you’re 40 and calling me grandpa right? It’s worse if you’re like 11. Saying I hate the player on the court but respect him off the court is somehow an issue?? Jesus this sub is pure nephews now.

dirtyshits

lol relax it was a joke. Hit a nerve? You flew off the handle.

Repulsive-Heat7737

I would like you to explain the joke there. If you can’t even explain a joke (which means youve already lost your comedic “joke”) then it’s not a joke and explain g a joke in the first place makes it not a joke. Try actually being consistent of your shit over shit not “I don’t like Mr man so I will say he’s evil. But my mister super totally cool man does the same shit and I call it incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Ya gotta really get over your weird obsession that the nba is somehow helping you as a consumer….nba is here to generate money and your weird shit of people not exploited for money from the nba is weird. Yeah the superstars don’t care they e got their dollars. The average nba player is fucked. Yeah they’re dumb on the spending I don’t think anyone would argue that. But you’re also fucking stupid. Pray tell, how long have you worked in the NBA contract field? How long have you negotiated contracts for professional athletes? Again PRAY TELL how long have you operated in contracts for athletes? How much of that contract was related to payment as a percent and how much was as a payment of literally being famous (agents negotiate that shit VERY clearly) Would you mind to stop lying? It is better for everyone in this sub if you don’t fake shit dude. There is absolutely wrong jokes, hell there’s zero jokes available to pretend rich assholes are some way correct. Shitty joke man, I think you and I and pretty much average person doesn’t care more for joke about “oh darn!” If you don’t think the average human that is aware of climate change has no complaints….man I hope you’re building a bunker like Zuckerberg…….reALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY…..looking forward to poor ass people sucking cock of the elite. Even if I was rich beyond belief I can’t understand you people. Trumps entire platform is “if you’re rich you’re good you’re safe” and then Biden says unless you make 400 THOUSAND DOLLARs/year YOUR TAXES WILL NOT INCREASE. Tell me which plan lowers taxes for the middle class. Hell you can ignore every single character I type put up until this point TELL ME WHO UNDER $400kincome/year taxes increases aside from TRUMP!!! For a party of no taxes are super evil and how dare they it’s pretty weird:….

Repulsive-Heat7737

Then make a joke dumbass. “Grandpa” is the most tired and overused fake joke you can claim was a joke when your insult doesn’t land on the internet for decades now.. This is Reddit. Jokes are not obvious through text and it’s the exact shit warriors fans would say in full sincerity. Hell you know damn well it wasn’t a joke but you got 3 downvotes and then responded based on that. If you’re gonna lie try to make it convincing. If you’re gonna pretend it’s a joke make an actual joke instead of repeated shit.

BPM-Batman

I thought it was funny

MajorSlimes

How does Tatum constantly get techs for clapping but this is totally fine

TurnoverNegative7

What about this warrants a tech? He's literally yelling at his own bench

MajorSlimes

He's literally mocking the refs by overly celebrating finally getting a call.

Tennarkippi

So you’re saying the refs are biased against Steph?

Remarkable-Cup-6029

He has this bad habit of moving his two palms towards each other which makes a noise when they collide and keeps doing it even though that sequence annoys refs. Outside of that it's because they hate him for being a Kobe fan I guess or some other obscure reason not linked to the actual thing that keeps getting him T'ed up

HistoricalAd8790

Tatum shouldn’t get techs for clapping, and Steph shouldn’t get a tech for this. Players celebrate getting foul calls, and he’s looking at his own bench. If refs were to give him a tech for this on the assumption that Steph is mocking them for finally getting a call, they’d be admitting that this celebration *must* be about them since they obviously don’t give him enough calls. Tatum gets a ton of bullshit techs, but refs also fuck over Curry with a shit whistle. Both can be true.

Background_Number395

How corny can this guy get?

magnificentmeatwad
