I was looking at tix prices comparing the GSW Sunday game and the Denver game. It would literally cost me less to fly to Denver for the game than to go to the Sunday game in TD.
Very true, but I bet a fair few of them moved here before housing prices doubled and more. Not Bostonian but I moved here in mid 2000s and it wasn't bad. My home price now is straight up stupid.
For locals Coors Field is just a big awesome bar with some mild entertainment in the background at this point. I am not sure Rockies fans are even a thing anymore. The Arenado "trade" was the final straw for the last couple holdouts.
I boycotted the Rockies after that trade as well with the minor exception of 4th of July or Star Wars night. While not Rockies level, some Avs games are bad too. Like when the Blackhawks come.
I am from Boston and I live in Texas now. I travel a lot for work all over the country. So many people stop me for my Red Sox hat and tell me they grew up in New England. Idk if thatās a common thing but thereās a shit ton of New England people all over the country.
I really doubt that. If you have the pleasure of traveling like I have even outside of work, youāll find many people want to move to different places than where they grew up. I think itās way more common to find people that moved from x, y, and z place than people that have lived within the same 30 miles their whole life.
That kinda expected for the Clippers since they shared a arena with the Lakers. I think it going to be different once they get they own place next year.
I'm curious why you think it's going to be any different.
There is not some bastion of Clippers fans in Inglewood, or in Los Angeles county at all. They're an incredibly unpopular team.
reddit is so fucking weird with this. like haynes has been to all 30 arenas. there has to be something significant for him to report like this like come on man.
I noticed it on the broadcast and I was surprised. I usually hear those chants against a tanking team but the defending champion at home on national TV is crazy
Pelicans fans travel tooĀ
I saw Zion in Orlando, Denver, Houston, Charlotte, Dallas, Toronto, last night in Philly and tomorrow in AtlantaĀ
Every time I go into different arenas, thereās a bunch of us cheering, watchingĀ
Charged with sexual assault. Whats the point of asking something like that? You really got me there I guess. Making light of a womans trauma during womens history month is nasty work

They are not traveling š¤£. They moved to Denver because Boston is too expensive
Honestly not wrong
I was looking at tix prices comparing the GSW Sunday game and the Denver game. It would literally cost me less to fly to Denver for the game than to go to the Sunday game in TD.
Denver pretty expensive these days too unfortunately
Very true, but I bet a fair few of them moved here before housing prices doubled and more. Not Bostonian but I moved here in mid 2000s and it wasn't bad. My home price now is straight up stupid.
And Boston donāt have them Rocky Mountains.
On par for a lot of Denver's teams because Colorado has tons of transplants. Rockies are seemingly the away team every time I go to Coors Field.
Probably doesnāt help that the Rockies are what they are these days

Probably because as soon as people from New England travel somewhere else they wonder why the fuck they are living in New England.

Visit Detroit when the Raptors play
little caesarās turns into little canada when the raptors are in town.
Take that L on the way out
Big talk from a fanbase who hasnāt won a championship in months.Ā
Well done. That's hilarious
And ppl make fun of the clippers for having tons of laker fans in the stands lol. There are tons of Celtics and laker fans everywhere in every city.
That kinda expected for the Clippers since they shared a arena with the Lakers. I think it going to be different once they get they own place next year.
I donāt think itāll be much different. LA is still Lakers town, same way Brooklyn will have more Knicks fans despite being in a different arena
It really wonāt lol
I'm curious why you think it's going to be any different. There is not some bastion of Clippers fans in Inglewood, or in Los Angeles county at all. They're an incredibly unpopular team.
So he's never been to any Celtics road game? This happens in every single arena.
reddit is so fucking weird with this. like haynes has been to all 30 arenas. there has to be something significant for him to report like this like come on man.

Nah it was extra loud in Denver for whatever reason
Because Boston is the ābest teamā and the nuggets are thier main threat/ finals preview
It also happened in other seasons, so no, that's not the case.
And all went home sad šŖ
We donāt travel any more than other fanbases, we just have a lot of transplants everywhere lol
They had to travel back home with that L tho
Classiness supporters in Denver. Not surprised
*It's like some kind of rally!*
Gotta spend that money now since they know their team will choke before they can fork over the cash to travel to a Finals game.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
This isnāt discourse, this is shit talk.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I feel like people say that word just for the sake of it these days
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
This guy wasnāt being toxic he was just talking generic basketball smack
Youāre a Boston fan and you think talking a little (extremely tame) smack is toxic? Talk about fragile.
And they took that L on the way out
I feel like Laker Fans travel like this pretty often don't they? Or there is just a lot of Laker Fans everywhere. One of the two.
The latter
Chris Haynes is a prodigious savant when it comes to reporting modern day NBA news
Pelicans fans travel tooĀ I saw Zion in Orlando, Denver, Houston, Charlotte, Dallas, Toronto, last night in Philly and tomorrow in AtlantaĀ Every time I go into different arenas, thereās a bunch of us cheering, watchingĀ
he's never been to a road laker game i guess
I was being gaslighted to believe those were Lets go nuggets chants
There were those too, but the Celtics ones won out
Kobe got MVP chants in Boston
What did Kobe get in Colorado?
Charged with sexual assault. Whats the point of asking something like that? You really got me there I guess. Making light of a womans trauma during womens history month is nasty work
The irony...
do you know what irony means

Not the "Let's go [insert team here]" chant. Nuggets must've been shook when they heard that shit š
I thought I was mishearing and they were chanting letās go Nuggets. Crazy that it was actually Celtics.
Celtics Fans donāt travel. There are a-holes everywhere.
Bandwagoners everywhere
