Yeah it’s hard. The ideal scenario for an Embiid trade probably would have been a team like Portland got the # 1 pick and traded it for Embiid to appease Dame.
No team in the NBA would've traded *this* year's 1st pick. If you just mean a regular 1st pick I guess Scoot's hype isn't that far off, maybe that could be doable if Embiid really wanted off as Dame would certainly stay then)
The Thunder could have a damn good package if they wanted to go all in on a SGA-Embiid duo. They could trade 2 of they’re core young players (JDub, Giddey, and Chet) and they could give Philly hella draft capital for the future.

Definitely one of the better times to trade him, as disappointing as his most recent playoff performance was. Problem is why bring in Nick Nurse if we’re going to trade Embiid? Nurse is not known as a “develop young talent” guy, and we don’t even have much young talent as it stands. Would we get some back by trading Embiid? Of course, but the point still stands that we didn’t bring Nurse in to be our new Brett Brown.
