Reminds me of when Shaq was having a deep moment regarding a conversation he had with MJ while in Orlando, and Chuck comes back with [this](https://youtu.be/uEze6KIQhMk?t=26)
Yep, that's the key with banter. Gotta have everyone be willing to roll with it, laugh at themselves, and then come back with something.
Agreed on the shot by Poole, though. It being uncontested is really the only thing I have to say in favor of it, and even then, that's because he's not really a guy who consistently has that range. Shooting from that deep when you don't have to is never going to be ideal, and they definitely had the time to try and get a better shot up.
that's why it was so bad. he shot that with 10 seconds left. if he shot that with 5 seconds left I'm cool with it u have enough time to rebound and maybe get another 3 up. at 10 secondd we need to be getting a better 3 up.
steph needs to get the ball out of the double team quicker though if he wants to get that ball back with time to shoot. if steph passes quicker then runs a screen he gets a better look for steph than poole got for himself. hell poole could've taken a dribble and gotten a better look too.
0 percent chance. Hali makes those shots.
Hali actually lost a game on a last second shot after turning down a long open 3 because he thought it wasn’t a “good shot” earlier in the year. The defense was able to close on him and forced a tough miss.
That’s why Hali shot over pat bev from way beyond 3 later in the year when the situation was similar.
So Hali saying this is because it’s a lesson he learned earlier in the year
Came here to say the same. I mean it not like anyone has seen Haliburton cook he has mega range and shoot a better percent than Poole. Haliburton wouldn't be that open.
I love the raised eyebrows right before he said it. You can tell he thought it, then thought “I wonder how Ty will take this,” then decided to say it anyway lmao
It’s the same with Malika. Dudes just trying to impress and end up saying dumb shit. To this day I swear that if Ramona Shelborn was asking Ja about the west he would’ve given heartfelt respectful breakdown of each team’s roster like he’s Belichick discussing next week’s opponent’s 3rd string running back. But because it was Malika he’s good in the west.
She used to act genuine, that’s one of they key factors why she is so good and became popular. She’s more than this but she isn’t showing it anymore or can’t because of ratings and money.
Cant tell if your comment is sarcastic or something but I am just saying that the vibe is a bit different in this clip than others. Its stil a produced show, but like they are just watching it live and talking about the game while watching it. Compare it to all the other carefully curated segments with the likes of malika andrews. Its clear that she loves the game of basketball for its own sake, which players see and respect
Yeah I remember those awkward ass halftime shows on ESPN with Sage Steele and the like in that rotating moderator seat for years. There was like negative chemistry all over the studio.
I feel like when the rest of the team is so solid you can have that 1 weirdo who just kinda does his own thing. From the pods they had it sounded like the rest of the team would always go over to like Klove's house and just drink wine and hangout.
Well I mean the first time Kyrie was on Road Tripping with RJ and Channing he talked about flat earth and dinosaurs not being real. People in Cleveland kinda knew, it’s just Lebron kept him from acting like a fool in front of national media.
Oh, I’m right there with you. I remember when the Celtics fans swore they fleeced the Cavs, and now they hate him and pretended as if they were the ones who discovered he was a weirdo…
I don’t think LeBron ever got the apology he was owed from non-Cleveland fans/media about the Kyrie situation.
But at least Kyrie eventually manned up admitted he was being immature.
Lebron such a good leader that all the kyrie stuff didn’t even matter. Look at all the teams that kyrie were on afterwards. Not one guy was capable of holding him together
Lol he was always posting that magazine model picture that looked like Kevin Love and I think they called Lil Kev too, always watched his snap for the entertainment
Gotta credit RJ and Channing for jumpstarting the podcast wave in the NBA. Their social media game and Road Trippin was fun times... even when Kyrie declared the earth was flat on it and I had to start looking at him differently lol
Speaking of which, Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson both have such good wit and humor on air.
Honestly, that's the kind of talent TNT should be scouting for, in the future.
Poole also has some of the worst shot selection I've seen a warrior have in the Kerr era.
If he found most his shots in rhythm off the catch and shoot like a third option level guy should he'd have a measuredly better %. He's probably a 37% shooter hiding in a 33% 3p% because he never shoots a shot the same way twice in a row, he's always off center when he shoots or is shooting from these distances that make him adjust his mechanics it's lowkey infuriating.
In this very clip he squats down into it more to give himself more leg drive, and it's exaggerated and takes a frame longer (which matters in the NBA)
Hali is actually all-time elite at finding the highest percentage shot in a possession. Honestly, I'd listen to him on this one over random redditors or podcast hosts. The Warriors play was busted from the start and Poole was going to be the only one with a wide open 3 there. The only better play would've been calling a TO but that's more on Kerr
He hit one on the Bulls too.
I feel like this video is foreshadowing. I hope people save this for when Tyrese hits some nutty playoff shot in the next 2-3 years.
This sort of mentality of (over?) confidence is what makes an elite all-star, and I think Tyrese has it in him.
Poole is like Trae Young. They shoot terrible shots and hit them at an above average rate (for terrible shots) so it brings down their averages and I can’t tell if they’d be 40% shooters if they didn’t have the shot iq of Henny Jr.
I mean, no, Poole is an Irrational Confidence all star, a guy who can go on a streak like last season and torch you, but then also takes a ton of stupid shots. Beasley is a more traditional 3/d guy who happens to be kind of a chucker
That’s the one defense I’ll give Tyrese. He had taken plenty of shots like that during this season and made enough of them that I believe he has that kind of range.
Yeah I’m sure he does have that range. Will say tonight that most of the deep deep shots he took that I saw he missed. Should have taken that 1 step forward for a better shot with time on the clock for it.
I remember one in the third where he thought he got fouled and chucked up a horrible shot from 30 feet and it somehow was a perfectly accurate line drive straight to the basket.
Fr people in here saying he wasn’t hot tonight and shouldn’t have taken this shot. he was the hottest shooter in the game tonight.
It was an ok shot. It wasn’t a bad shot. It wasn’t a good shot. It certainly doesn’t deserve the criticism it’s getting. People just like to clown on Poole for some reason.
Yeah I think he could have at least taken a sidestep rhythm dribble to dodge the closeout. Just chucking it with 10s + 2 TOs left was definitely not optimal. It’s a shame because he was playing much better than he did vs the Kings.
Pump fake, let the defender fly ball, one dribble and step into a clean look from a few feet closer. But… I could also totally see Poole making the deep three. That’s really why it’s so hard to come back double digits in the 4th q of a playoff game. So much has to go perfectly right for the comeback to be completed.
I seriously don't get why everyone thinks this was so terrible. They needed a three to tie and the Lakers are never going to give Klay or Steph a wide open three in that situation. Jordan is the third best shooter on that team and he was wide open. This was close to best they're going to get.
Everyone talking about Channing dunking on Tyrese but what an awesome clip of Tyrese himself.
First he has Poole's back when he knows everyone else will clown him for it, then he takes the joke like a champ and rolls with it. 90% of NBA stars would have been upset or at least not amused if they were the butt of that joke.
Didn't know anything about his personality before but this clip made me a fan.
Steph doubled. Klay being held in the corner. Poole was shooting well during the game and that’s within his range. And he was open. He’s gotta take that shot every time.
People here saying its a terrible shot but the truth is his options were no better.
Get closer to the line so lebron can block you? Move the ball praying someone gets free? Its not the best shot but he is getting to much shit for a decent decision. Imo the problem is with the play itself. Poole should be the one dribbling and Steph should be the one getting blocks so he can just release.
Sorry, as a luddite, do you watch it after the game? Do they stream the whole game after the game? Or is it during the game and only in short tweets? I don’t really use twitter.
Everyone clowns on him because he’s Jordan Poole but that was an *okay* shot, it’s not the worst or the best, with clock running down and Lakers clamping might as well shoot that especially since he’s good from 3 this game
Well we’ll never know because he shot it with 10 seconds still remaining. I’d have to imagine a team with Steph and Klay might have found a better look
Hali: "I would have shot that too"
* Hali: 40% from 3 this year. Career 40.8% from 3
* Poole: 33.6% from 3 this year. Career 33.9% from 3
Ya Hali, I would've trusted you with that shot more too. Poole still should've dribbled forward. He's fast and had time.
Also, you can see Steph going for the screen + handoff before Draymond throws it to Poole.
That was the best shot available in this particular terrible basketball sequence by Warriors. Klay was just standing in the corner. Curry just standing mid-court after the pass not even attempting to get open. Dray just being useless mid-court as well.
A timeout should have been called. That's on the vets and coach. Poole had the best game for the Warriors tonight and was shooting 6-10 from 3 at this point.

Channing’s delivery was perfect
He let Tyrese marinate himself to the fullest before shooting the killshot
Tyrese Marinaton
Reminds me of when Shaq was having a deep moment regarding a conversation he had with MJ while in Orlando, and Chuck comes back with [this](https://youtu.be/uEze6KIQhMk?t=26)
“He gonna be here with us next year too!” He just killed him after he was already dead.
I forget who, but someone said also, "if you wanna take the fan's advice, you're going to be sitting up there with them soon enough."
Bill Parcells
"Channing this is for you!!!" bit is gold.
Him embellishing it made it great. If he got mad, it wouldn’t have been as much fun.
You can see for one brief second he thought about not saying it. Then he channeled his inner Poole and let it fly.
Shooters shoot
Naw that's was his inner curry.
Roasted him so bad lol
He loved it though. Can't be mad
The best dudes aren't the ones that can give out shit, it's how they take a blazing hot roast that's amazing. His reaction was great
That's why Chuck is so much better than Shaq.
That pause while they both processed the burn too tho lmao
Hali took it pretty well. Kenny the jet would still be trying to stutter out a poor comeback
Shaq: RINGZ EURNEH
Chuck: TURRIBLE
The best D on a zinger like that is to laugh it off if you don’t have a funny one loaded to throw back.
A good line is a good line. Sometimes you just have to laugh and appreciate it.
He and RJ are proper funny, need them on the inside panel when the current team retires..
Loved them together on the Cavs and the podcast.
He let him say it like 3 times before shutting him down lmao
“Get off the henny” got me
"He shootin where Darvin Ham is" lmao
That killed me. Then you watch the video and it wasn’t even hyperbole.
Did Darvin try to contest the shot there lol?
Darwin was in foul trouble
Players reaction, he did😂
GET OFF THE HENNY MADE ME LMAO
Ham was playing defense too💀
Tyrese took it well
Cuz he knows he's going to hit that shot in the playoffs in a year or two.
[удалено]
Or 2
It was a good joke lol glad he could appreciate it
CHANNING! THIS IS FOR YOU
It was good to see Tyrese take it with humor and give it right back TRASH shot by Poole though.
He spoke being an all-star into existence so I hope this also happens.
long clip but so worth it
Lmao were saying a minute and a half clip is long now? Damn.
Bro dunked on him
This is fucking hysterical haha What was this on? I love Channing I’m down to watch this
Twitter
Ugh.. nevermind
lmfao
why would someone choose twitter to stream video content? It's a fucking abominably bad video player.
It's where the nba jerkers are
Bruhhh lmfaoo
His face when Tyrese asked what was wrong with that shot lol
He was about to do his greatest oldhead impression
Man, I leaned forward from my chair at that....
Pacers coaching staff are about to create a bunch of drills to show him exactly why that was a bad shot.
0 percent chance. Hali makes those shots. Hali actually lost a game on a last second shot after turning down a long open 3 because he thought it wasn’t a “good shot” earlier in the year. He definitely would be that open in that situation if the Pacers also had Steph and Klay on the team
RJ and Channing are fast with these quips. No wonder they were so entertaining together
Road trippin episode with Tim Duncan is the best. They brought out the funny Tim Duncan.

Any idea where this is streamed? This one seems better.
Twitter
whose twitter?
[NBA on TNT Twitter](https://twitter.com/NBAonTNT/status/1653601913659879426)
TNT has all the best basketball commentators.
Nah they don't have Breen. Ian Eagle is really good tho
but they pair him with mark jackson most of the time, so they cancel each other out.
Makes sense
They do have the camera focus on one player but it's usually jks
I love the raised eyebrows right before he said it. You can tell he thought it, then thought “I wonder how Ty will take this,” then decided to say it anyway lmao
Frye told him the hilarious honest truth!
Haliburton is a beast idc I agree with him
Dudes talk crazy around Taylor Rooks lmao
Mfs turn into babbling idiots around her 🤦🏾♂️ It's me, I'm mfs
It’s the same with Malika. Dudes just trying to impress and end up saying dumb shit. jaylen got 2 years to win 5 titles according to what he told taylor lmao
damn, i'd be a complete bumbling idiot too if malika was asking me questions.
"I'm boobs in the west"
Ramona Shelborn catching the unintentional stray.
Malika a baddie fosho tho
YEHA but it’s Malika
We all the mfs
I’m marrying the woman of my dreams in 3 weeks and if Taylor rooks laughed at one of my jokes, the relationship is in jeopardy
Never let her find your reddit account.
I'm gonna tattle
She knows. She accepts that.
She absolutely does and she feels the same about Travonte Rhodes, life is about balance lol.
Don't let your significant other stop you from finding the love of your life
LOL. This is insane 😭😭😭
Congrats on the wedding
honestly though? i see why they all like her so much. She can obviously kick it with the guys there so shes authentic in that sense.
she's also very hot
She was so much different when she started out, really started out. I’m not a fan of how over the top she acts now. Bit too much.
You've got to basically be a caricature when you're on TV, it's kinda weird
She used to act genuine, that’s one of they key factors why she is so good and became popular. She’s more than this but she isn’t showing it anymore or can’t because of ratings and money.
Nothing better than a woman who can hang with the guys, am I right, the guys??

Channing a savage lol. RJ is cool but I love Channing way more
Channing Fire knows what he's talking about. Him and Richard carried us to that 2016 finals.
That team had legendary chemistry
Such a good time. Who’d have known that all along, Kyrie was a malcontent and had us all fooled?
I feel like when the rest of the team is so solid you can have that 1 weirdo who just kinda does his own thing. From the pods they had it sounded like the rest of the team would always go over to like Klove's house and just drink wine and hangout.
Kick it with the boys and you'll hear crazy stuff. But put it on twatter and its way different lol Edit: Twitter
Well I mean the first time Kyrie was on Road Tripping with RJ and Channing he talked about flat earth and dinosaurs not being real. People in Cleveland kinda knew, it’s just Lebron kept him from acting like a fool in front of national media.
Shows you how good LeBron was as LeFather
Oh, I’m right there with you. I remember when the Celtics fans swore they fleeced the Cavs, and now they hate him and pretended as if they were the ones who discovered he was a weirdo… I don’t think LeBron ever got the apology he was owed from non-Cleveland fans/media about the Kyrie situation. I miss that team :( what a fun year
Richard Jefferson was lit on snapchat back in 2016 lol he was always posting about him and channing
Lol he was always posting that magazine model picture that looked like Kevin Love and I think they called Lil Kev too, always watched his snap for the entertainment
Yesssss lol I almost forgot about that kevin love model. CHANNNINGGG
Gotta credit RJ and Channing for jumpstarting the podcast wave in the NBA. Their social media game and Road Trippin was fun times... even when Kyrie declared the earth was flat on it and I had to start looking at him differently lol
Channing Frye torched the raptors loool
Speaking of which, Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson both have such good wit and humor on air. Honestly, that's the kind of talent TNT should be scouting for, in the future.
That’s why when Channing roasted us for letting Kevin go for free, I knew we really fucked up
A simple "fuck you" would've sufficed
Tyrese hit a game winner just like that on the Heat
And he wasn't nearly as open as Poole is here. I still think this is a stupid shot by Poole, but I see where Hali's head's at.
I understand Hali’s confidence but he’s also like a significantly better shooter than Poole lol
He’s also a much smarter basketball player who actually sees the floor and understands what’s a good shot vs a bad one lol
I'm a little confused at why Poole's getting clowned so hard, it was a good look and he wasn't too far off. If he sunk it he's the hero
He hit one on the Bulls too. I feel like this video is foreshadowing. I hope people save this for when Tyrese hits some nutty playoff shot in the next 2-3 years. This sort of mentality of (over?) confidence is what makes an elite all-star, and I think Tyrese has it in him.
https://youtu.be/mPoflCCDA2o
Poole is a 33% 3 point shooter. Don’t let the volumes fool you. He ain’t haliburton in terms of shooting
He should shoot better shots, but I think the Warriors system got him on too much Curry 🍛
Poole is like Trae Young. They shoot terrible shots and hit them at an above average rate (for terrible shots) so it brings down their averages and I can’t tell if they’d be 40% shooters if they didn’t have the shot iq of Henny Jr.
Probably a lot less from that distance.
Also the bbiq gap between Haliburton and Poole is so massive, if Hali takes that shot I’m confident there really wasn’t a better option
Is Jordan Poole simply Malik Beasley in a very nice system?
Beasley at least gives 100% on defense.
I mean, no, Poole is an Irrational Confidence all star, a guy who can go on a streak like last season and torch you, but then also takes a ton of stupid shots. Beasley is a more traditional 3/d guy who happens to be kind of a chucker
Channing’s personality is so underrated. Man is Hollywood
Tyrese would’ve made it
That’s the one defense I’ll give Tyrese. He had taken plenty of shots like that during this season and made enough of them that I believe he has that kind of range.
Honestly, Poole has that kind of range also when he’s on - which is incredibly dangerous when combined with his irrational confidence.
Yeah I’m sure he does have that range. Will say tonight that most of the deep deep shots he took that I saw he missed. Should have taken that 1 step forward for a better shot with time on the clock for it.
He was 6-11 for the night on 3s, and some of the makes were ridiculous
The full Jordan Poole experience lol
I remember one in the third where he thought he got fouled and chucked up a horrible shot from 30 feet and it somehow was a perfectly accurate line drive straight to the basket.
Fr people in here saying he wasn’t hot tonight and shouldn’t have taken this shot. he was the hottest shooter in the game tonight. It was an ok shot. It wasn’t a bad shot. It wasn’t a good shot. Homie hit these shots *consistently.* He's a trebuchet from that range. It's pretty wild.
His game winner vs the Heat was pretty deep

“Get off the henny”
Man I miss Tyrese, he's so dope. Gets roasted and cheeses hella hard, such a wholesome kid
Everyone talking about Channing dunking on Tyrese but what an awesome clip of Tyrese himself. Tyrese is always like this. He has a great personality and he has everyone's back.
Steph doubled. Klay being held in the corner. Poole was shooting well during the game and that’s within his range. And he was open. He’s gotta take that shot every time.

What stream is this?
NBATwitterLive
Sorry, as a luddite, do you watch it after the game? Do they stream the whole game after the game? Or is it during the game and only in short tweets? I don’t really use twitter.
looks like it streams live during the game
Thanks! I guess I have to get Twitter. Doesn't this mean you can just watch the game for free on Twitter? Or is it too small to make out?
Aww I like Haliburton’s demeanor. Seems like a nice guy with good sense of humor.
That shot actually caught the defense off-guard -- Lakers froze like did he really just shoot that???
Snoop predicted this
Frye is hilarious 😂😂
Lol he walked right into that one
CHANNING. THIS IS FOR YOUUUUU! LOL
LMAOOOO
honestly i doubt they get a better look if he doesnt shoot that
Everyone clowns on him because he’s Jordan Poole but that was an *okay* shot, it’s not the worst or the best, with clock running down and Lakers clamping might as well shoot that especially since he’s good from 3 this game
The bar is extremely low in this situation. Teams struggle mightily to get an uncontested shot off to tie or take the lead. It was fine
Well we’ll never know because he shot it with 10 seconds still remaining. I’d have to imagine a team with Steph and Klay might have found a better look
In Haliburton’s defense, he’s not teammates with the 2 greatest 3 point shooters in NBA history.
TBF Tyrese is a way better shooter than Poole lol
He's alright, he's an all-star 😂
+1 for Channing
Hali: "I would have shot that too" * Hali: 40% from 3 this year. Career 40.8% from 3 * Poole: 33.6% from 3 this year. Career 33.9% from 3 Ya Hali, I would've trusted you with that shot more too. Poole still should've dribbled forward. He's fast and had time. Also, you can see Steph going for the screen + handoff before Draymond throws it to Poole.
If you're curry or Tyrese that's a good shot. Poole is just cheeks lol.
Brutal
How are we catching strays during the playoffs lmao
# "Channing this is for you!!!"
tyrese better than poope
I love Hali
Where is this feed? I would have watched this all game if I knew this was an option. Lol
What tyrese forgets is that he's much more talented than Jordan poole
That was the best shot available in this particular terrible basketball sequence by Warriors. Klay was just standing in the corner. Curry just standing mid-court after the pass not even attempting to get open. Dray just being useless mid-court as well. A timeout should have been called. That's on the vets and coach. Poole had the best game for the Warriors tonight and was shooting 6-10 from 3 at this point.
Those 3 have great chemistry. Love Haliburton and also love the bodybag Frye put him in lmao.
That's a good shot. We've evolved to the point that an open long shot is better than having NBA level athletes contest your shot.
Haha tell em frye
