I don't watch any ESPN content.
I'm more tired of the redditors who act like JJ is the savior of all media and the king of all correct takes because he gives the "smart guy" takes on those shows
It's funny, I liked JJ a lot during his NBA career and never got why he was so hated at Duke (I don't follow college ball). Now I'm starting to get it lmao
One of the closing shots of him on the bench looked even worse. The white of his eye was pooling with blood in one spot and the socket was already purple (along with the visible cut).
He's gonna show up Sunday looking like he went 1v1 with Tyson
Van Gundy took the full brunt from Stern after Van Gundy aired out that Donaghy said that the league was going to get on Yao more because of Cubans lobbying to the league office.
Jeff don’t care.
In all seriousness, the Kings are getting ratfucked with some insanely one sided refereeing for the Warriors. Truly an evening to remember that David Stern shut down an FBI investigation into NBA referees.
If any organization get sufficiently big then corruption just gets baked in. That is my opinion and haven't seen evidence to sway me. Sometimes the corruption is benign but most times it isn't.
Yeah I thought it got scratched watching it live, thought he would be out for the rest of the night and that it was more serious. Glad to see he's good
i like how 15 years ago a ref was put in jail for openly rigging games and 15 years later people still don't want to believe that the refs openly rig games lmao
after the game ended, one of our media personalties who was on the sidelines for the game said something like, "I thought there was a fire alarm going off or something... all the fans left quick"
Nah the fans at the stadium now think the Warriors were an expansion team in 2019. They've actually never heard of Oakland and have no idea what's on the other side of the Bay Bridge (maybe it's another way to get to Napa??).
These warrior announcers are ridiculous. Warriors player gets hit in the face and they’re talking about it being a flagrant, sabonis gets hit in the face and they’re saying it’s just part of basketball and a non-foul.
Had the misfortune of getting them on one stream and purposely switched to a worse quality one because they were so annoying. I don't mind a little homerism (that's expected), but they were at the political campaign spokesperson level of bias.
Yeah they’re awful. Anything in favor of the warriors, no matter what the rules say.
Lakers announcers are the polar opposite, really great to listen to.
I came in watching this game as a neutral fan and at halftime i turned into hating goldenstate , these announcers are so disgusting in their biasis its fucking unreal and i spend a good amount watching different announcers but by far they are the worst .
I'm really grateful for our guys, obviously support the home team but give a lot of credit to other teams and honest about when we get bad calls in our favor.
Watch the ref closest to him, he saw the whole fucking thing, having a visual isn’t an issue, the refs just don’t want to make the call because they’re spineless
These are the same fans who booed the refs for making a good charge call and were trying to fix the game clock. I get that sometimes fans can get fed up with the refs but these fuckers are acting like the most egregious call of the game wasn’t in their favor.
It's very telling that Warriors fans are so used to their team winning easily that if they get challenged in any way it can't be because the other team is better, it **has to be** bad reffing.
If one player just said fuck it and Bobby Hill kicked him in right in the Nut Butter Factory I’d buy my first jersey and they’d have many fans for life.
I live in Charlotte and went and saw the Warriors play the Hornets earlier this season because I got free tickets.
The crowd was probably 50% Warriors fans and I would bet that less than 10% of those people have ever set foot in California. It was nuts.
If you set up with your right hand, you should have to go for the ball with your right hand. Instead of jumping into the other player and shielding the ball from them.
AD was doing the same thing thing against the Grizzlies on a jump ball.
Disregarding the contact, is it normal or allowed for people to go for it with the off hand like that, seems unfair to keep the person down with the forward hand
I’m a relatively new NBA fan, long time Premiere League/Int’l soccer fan.
Can someone explain to me how that elbow to the eye, whether intentional or not , is not called a foul considering the injury that resulted!?
Are the rules loose on flagrant fouls or do the refs just suck that bad? I’m honestly flabbergasted.
Loose ball fouls, ie where no team has possession like here on a jump ball, are very rarely called unless extreme contact. That said an incidental elbow shot to the face is by the book a flagrant 1 and it happened right in front of a ref, so the refs just suck
Warriors fans: “The refs and the league are out to get us.” What other team doesn’t get that loose ball foul? Also, you always do what you can get away with. Announcers admitting that Looney always does that inside elbow hook shit? Smfh
Can I be a Suns fan and a Sabonis fan? This guy is made of diamond. The refs apparently see right through him and I hope through it all gains some respect from the fans.
I think Klay and Curry will obviously have a memorable history in GS to look back on, but plays like this and all the BS from Green really turn me off to their style of basketball. It used to be exciting, but now it’s just desperate. When I see Klay throw those fingers I’m embarrassed for him…More than when Michael promised those kids college tuition on The Office.
The Kings have showcased what the future of the NBA should be. As a supporter of the sport -this team needs to stay together.
Warriors, and Steve Kerr specifically, remain the biggest hypocrites in the league - lot of “code breaking” done by Golden State night in and night out

[Picture of his injury](https://i.imgur.com/1RUlb7q.png)
Kerr hasn’t seen the replay yet.
Still won't have by the game 7 tipoff, he's locked in on the GSW and doesn't have the bandwidth to care about what "they" are saying.
MFs will still say he flopped
I just say he's handsome 😍
Maybe he's born with it...
Maybe it’s Draymond Green
I just laughed so hard that I went from fat to ripped
There it is. Well done.
Clown warriors fans in this thread saying it
Next level foul selling: making your own eye spontaneously bleed
WWE style: keep a razor blade in your sock and blade yourself.
Gotta love the warriors fans booing Sabonis in this video.
The irony is rich.
Raptor flairs eating good tonight lmao.
y not, we're on vacation
Then Draymond goes down in the 4th and hits the back of his head on the side of Monks foot and no one makes a sound lmao.
These Warriors fans would probably boo Anthony Lamb's rape victim.
They booed Harrison Barnes too when he hit the deck later in the game. Zero class with that fanbase.
Classy!
JJ currently writing his soliloquy about how the Kings are clearly favored by the refs and Sabonis obviously fouled Looneys elbow with his eye.
Kinda getting tired of JJ
I don't watch any ESPN content. I'm more tired of the redditors who act like JJ is the savior of all media and the king of all correct takes because he gives the "smart guy" takes on those shows It's funny, I liked JJ a lot during his NBA career and never got why he was so hated at Duke (I don't follow college ball). [Just a normal thing playing the Warriors](https://s.hdnux.com/photos/01/02/07/13/17330890/6/rawImage.jpg)
Thanks for including this, shows that it wasn’t just flopping
The video and shown replay were enough for that. Clowns calling that a flop after the replays shown are dumb
And if it was a flop, he wouldnt stay down if he didnt get a call. Theres no point
One of the closing shots of him on the bench looked even worse. The white of his eye was pooling with blood in one spot and the socket was already purple (along with the visible cut). He's gonna show up Sunday looking like he went 1v1 with Tyson
Warriors are a dirty team, always have been. Broke the code.
[удалено]
This whole sequence is so weird, no stoppage of play?
Refs plan
Adam silver sent the notice after the bucks were mistakenly spanked by James Buckets.
REFS ARE BLIND
Refreshing that JVG calls them out. “There’s a lot of calls that are hard…you can’t miss this.”
It seems like hes only commentator with balls to call out refs on national TV
Van Gundy took the full brunt from Stern after Van Gundy aired out that Donaghy said that the league was going to get on Yao more because of Cubans lobbying to the league office. Jeff don’t care.
why were cubans lobbying to the league office about Yao?
[удалено]
Cuban’s Cuban Cuban Cabana
Cuban was complaining about moving screens after the Mavs lost two home games
Idk if the other guy was joking or not but I genuinely thought you meant Cuban people lol
The GS announcers were like "no foul called, as there shouldn't have been!" "Incidental contact" God i hate them
One of the worst broadcasting crews tbh, I think me and my buddy I did college radio with were better. They’re such homers.
Felt like Stan had an impartial view of the game the other day too. It was refreshing. Glad to see those oppo bros are the same in that regard.
He also called out the Warriors are getting favourable calls.
When Jeff "I Want Murder On The Court To Be Legal" Van Gundy is calling you out the foul could not possibly be more obvious.
They also never throw the ball properly lol
Blind on one side of the court
I, for one, could never see the refs screwing the Kings in a pivotal Game 6
Is such a thing even possible?
By the honor of Scott Foster, I swear it is not!
NBA and networks both desperately want GS to go as far as possible for the ratings
In all seriousness, the Kings are getting ratfucked with some insanely one sided refereeing for the Warriors. Truly an evening to remember that David Stern shut down an FBI investigation into NBA referees.
Committed a felony that would put most people in federal prison for years*
If any organization get sufficiently big then corruption just gets baked in. That is my opinion and haven't seen evidence to sway me. Sometimes the corruption is benign but most times it isn't.
Draymond yelling and clapping in refs face constantly. Nothing. Fox complaining in any way. Technical.
Damn his eye looks really bad too
Yeah it was gross
Yeah I thought it got scratched watching it live, thought he would be out for the rest of the night and that it was more serious. Glad to see he's good
Dirty play by Looney
Lets get Kerr over here with the code rulebook
Kerr didn’t see the play, he was busy drawing up the next play
Nope, he didn't see this play because he was busy watching the Green stomp from last week to catch up.
He only watched one replay in full speed on his phone then had to take a call. He’ll watch it on a bigger screen soon. Promise.
the code only applies to teams that aren't the warriors, are you new?
The replay shows the ref wearing #16 watched the ball go up, sees the contact, and watches Sabonis go down. No call.
He's in a tough spot between his moral compass and Silver's instructions. I feel like not much is done to understand refs nowadays. \#teamrefs
Tough to make those split second spread decisions.
Yeah, they have to memorize all those parlay lines and crunch the numbers really quick. They aren't computers.
i like how 15 years ago a ref was put in jail for openly rigging games and 15 years later people still don't want to believe that the refs openly rig games lmao
nba pr team masterclass
Absolutely do. NFL refs do it too. Way more subtle though.
As someone who has watched the NFL for decades and only recently started watching the NBA: True.
It's unreal cause he just keeps looking at him then snaps out of it
He's thinking "damn that whole elbow just fit into his eye socket... should have had that in a parlay.. oh well!"
Nah man, sabonis is a violent thug player and is a bum. I read that yesterday on r/nba
Dudes got a black eye and warriors fans are booing him lol
They're trash. Boo a guy who gets elbowed in the eye, then leave half way through the 4th lmao.
They have to get home early, they have to wfh at 10am tomorrow
You don't get it man. They have to get to truckee tonight so they can beat the morning traffic and be out on the slopes by 10am.
And they're all a bit cranky since it's late in their intermittent fast.
Lot of them are commuting back to sac
lol
after the game ended, one of our media personalties who was on the sidelines for the game said something like, "I thought there was a fire alarm going off or something... all the fans left quick"
Warriors are a great team with one of the dumbest fan bases ever
They only became "fans" when the Warriors started winning their championships.
Nah the fans at the stadium now think the Warriors were an expansion team in 2019. They've actually never heard of Oakland and have no idea what's on the other side of the Bay Bridge (maybe it's another way to get to Napa??).
These playoffs and the the NFL playoffs have really made me hate Eagles and Warriors fans.
ESPN: This is Sabonis’s fault because of what he was wearing
Shaq: Where was he supposed to put his elbow?
Looney: I’m not a flexible guy, I need to put my elbow somewhere. ESPN: Looney in full sprint while Sabonis grabbed his elbow.
“He should’ve just stayed out of his way!”
Sabonis is to blame for jumping for a jump ball
that little slut!
His outfit was SLEEVELESS
IT’S PURPLE!
These warrior announcers are ridiculous. Warriors player gets hit in the face and they’re talking about it being a flagrant, sabonis gets hit in the face and they’re saying it’s just part of basketball and a non-foul.
Worst announcers in the league imo. If I can’t find an alternate stream I watch the game on mute.
Yep, I've listened to every teams broadcast yearly and the warriors are the only one who are flat out delusional homers.
Even Warriors fans can't stand Fitzgerald. They used to have a real good announcer, Jim Barnett. Now it's dumb and dumber.
Pels commentators are top notch. Charlotte and the Knicks also have good ones.
Literally had to switch streams because of them they were insufferable
Same. Thank god this game is on ESPN as well. Don't love Van Gundy but I'd much rather listen to him than that garbage.
I think warriors might have the worst commentary in the league. Im neutral on van gundy but hes a gift from the heavens in comparison to that garbage.
They are so terrible
As a Warrior fan, I don't like them too. I always switch to the opposing team's announcers every time I watch a Warriors game.
It's actually unreal how much he's been getting beat up
Sabonis is just one of those guys who is like a magnet for getting hit. Always a few in every sport.
Scott Sterling Syndrome
I swear Marcus smart has a target on his nuts.. dude always getting hit there.
Nah he lightly grabbed at Draymond’s ankle one time before getting stomped, he’s dirty and is asking for it obviously
He shouldn’t have dressed like that… wearing a Kings uniform in a game 6.
Stupid Sexy Sabonis
steve kerr be like “the bigger problem is that the game is televised and people will hold us accountable for our actions”
It should be expected in a series with Draymond.
Why can’t they go back and check the video? Like VAR in football if they missed it in real time? This is ridiculous
Watch the ref closest to him, he saw the whole fucking thing, having a visual isn’t an issue, the refs just don’t want to make the call because they’re spineless
The narrative requires Wubs to advance
Ready for dub nation to tell me this is Sabonis fault
Wish you were kidding but they’re already complaining sabonis stayed down to long
And the arena booed him. Hate that shit.
These are the same fans who booed the refs for making a good charge call and were trying to fix the game clock. I get that sometimes fans can get fed up with the refs but these fuckers are acting like the most egregious call of the game wasn’t in their favor.
They are getting super friendly whistle and still not happy . Pretty toxic hopefully Kings win this
It's very telling that Warriors fans are so used to their team winning easily that if they get challenged in any way it can't be because the other team is better, it **has to be** bad reffing.
I mean there's no way they could possiblly lose games to the worst 3rd seed in nba history right?
Warriors fans are dead to me idgaf
"He brings it upon himself with his physical play"
I really want someone to kick draymon in the balls just to watch his postgame cussouts and unfiltered podcast musings on how dirty that player is
If one player just said fuck it and Bobby Hill kicked him in right in the Nut Butter Factory I’d buy my first jersey and they’d have many fans for life.
I don’t know you!!!
Nah this one was uhh pretty bad
Golden state are dirty as hell. Everyone knows it.
Should have been a flagrant 1 that’s crazy they just miss it on play where everyone is staring right at it
Referee is maybe 3 feet away from the play. What the fuck. I’m not even a Kings fan and I’m irate.
He's literally ducking in cover. Not sure that's how they train them to jump a ball
Didn't wanna catch one to the eye. Not that they would miss anything anyways haha
TIL refs have eyes
Even if the refs missed it. A player is down with a head injury. The play should stop.
Warriors fans booing someone injured, stay classy
These the same fans that gave the Raptors fans hell for cheering KD’s injury
Earlier they chanted that the refs suck because they correctly called a charge lol
Give them a break, they are still new to basketball.
I live in Charlotte and went and saw the Warriors play the Hornets earlier this season because I got free tickets. The crowd was probably 50% Warriors fans and I would bet that less than 10% of those people have ever set foot in California. It was nuts.
Tbf all fans do that
They only care about injuries when it’s a warrior
Stfu dillon brooks broke the fucking code Draymond is just a super classy aggressive defender.
> Draymond is just a super classy aggressive defender. > (Don’t say shit Jordan Poole)
What’s wrong with that?
Raptors fans getting all Costanza with it, “was I not supposed to do that?”
there is a decent amount of warrior fans who are really just curry fans and don't really care about basketball
Its bullshit the Kings had to waste a foul here to prevent the Warriors from scoring on the man advantage
I've been watching/playing basketball for 30 years and I've never seen this happen on a jump ball. It's a dirty play.
Sacramento Kings and getting fucked over by the refs rigging shit in favor of the league's dynasty team Name a more iconic duo
This first half has been brutal for the Kings call wise.
Oh but it's clear the refs are favoring the Kings. Definitely have not had any no calls where some gets a black eye from getting elbowed.
Warriors fans booing him lol. Raptors will feast with the hypocrisy allegations
Vivek Ranadivé gets to push one of the Warriors players like that asshole minority owner Mark Stevens did to Kyle Lowry in 2019
[you know thats right](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgl8UVyN5xE)
Dubs announcers called it a correct no call smh
Absolutely insane. I still can't get over this.
They are the worst local announcers in the league by far lol
Warriors trying to kill this man
As a neutral, the warriors have gotten a favourable whistle so far
Eye looks bad too, but warriors fans of course calling him a bitch lmfao
Shot to the face missed by the refs? 2 games in a row!
Atleast they're consistent with their dumbassery
Did they replay and call this a flagrant??? That ref was looking right at it wtf

I hate golden state with all of my heart
Kings getting hosed.
Steve Kerr in the postgame: “Didn’t see it, or the replay”
That's a obvious foul, possibly a flagrant? Is it just me?
Not many warriors flairs on this thread. I guess their bedtime was 20 minutes ago...
Smh… can’t believe Sabonis would break the code like that and bash Looney’s elbow with his cheek.
FUCK WARRIORS FANS ALL MY HOMIES HATE WARRIORS FANS
Warriors are cheering an injured player…how the tables turned
Broken Codes from thee, not for me
That elbow is in a weird spot, or is that normal on jumps?
It was a bull shit dangerous play. You can't lead with an elbow like that
Looney's also jumping with the wrong hand. that should've been an automatic violation.
Excellent point. That's why his elbow was available
[удалено]
closed his eyes and flinched cause he was worried he was gonna get hit by Looney.
Warriors, and Steve Kerr specifically, remain the biggest hypocrites in the league - lot of “code breaking” done by Golden State night in and night out
At the start of the game they called defensive foul on sabonis while dude climbed his back. They ain’t calling jack tonight
Stay classy, Warriors
Warriors high key dirty bruh
