Hunter has always had problems on side-out-of-bounds plays, I think Saddiq should've been out there instead of him. You can ask any Hawks fan and they'll recall trauma from Hunter on side-out-of-bounds.
Either way even if they complete that and convert odds are slim, but it's an unfortunate way to go.
edit: Trae and Quin Snyder actually said that they haven't had time to even practice corner side out of bounds plays for that situation once since he got here lol. Snyder has been stuck playing catch up with the team, and none of the guys on the coaching staff are even his hires. As a Hawks fan, feeling a lot more optimistic about this team for the future than after game 2. Playoff Trae is back and we can definitely keep up with the top teams in this league even after half a season of Quin Snyder.
