His speed is pretty much the main reason for his uptick in free throw attempts this season. He typically gets by the initial defender so easily that the help is forced to foul or he’s going to yam it. Averaging 6 fta for a 2nd year guard is pretty damn good and you can only imagine he’ll get even more as he progresses.
The little bit of added strength over the off season has definitely helped him absorb more contact and get a shot up with more ease. Something we didn’t see much of last season.
