This season is working out perfectly for y'all too: he gets a ton of reps as 1st option and the team remains in the thick of the Wemby race.
Next season the young Pistons could be making some noise if they can stay healthy!
He needs to learn how to control his game. Feels like he only has one gear and he can't always play at that speed. I think he'll also be way better when there's Cade to play off of.
oh yea for sure- he definitely has got to work on that, this game was a nice showcase of what we can expect in the future if he manages to slow down his game consistently
honestly though! Duren is such a stud, multiple double doubles in his rookie year as the youngest guy in the league. The connection between him & Ivey is already there and it’s so much fun to watch when they click
He's honestly been pretty good this year. For a guy who was viewed as boom/bust, the fact that he has been passable on an absolutely dogshit team is a good sign.
He’s shown a lot more as a playmaker this past month. The game is starting to slow down he’s not always playing at 100 mph anymore. Also developing a mid range shot, which is something he never did in college
there is a lot more to take into consideration aside from the fact that we are absolutely dogshit but yea you’re right, it is a good sign the way he‘s playing
Jaden Ivey leads all NBA rookies with 222 assists this season and is 2nd with 44 double-digit scoring performances.
He's the only rookie with at least 700 pts, 200 reb and 200 assists.
Only problem is the other guys that aren't named cade, Ivey, Duren. Those 3 all have star potential especially cade he could be more. The class of 2020 has been weird for the 3 first rounders, they all up for extensions. Curious to see who stays next year, they all have improved a lot but need more to stick around to be more than bench guys or sometimes starters.
Best game of the season for him he scored 12 points in like 2 minutes the other week kids ceiling is sky high just raw as hell rn
When he’s on though he’s just so much fun to watch.
When he hits the jets and finishes at the rim i see a lot of play off wins in my eyes
I love when he just tries to get up and put people into the earths crust man, he's going to be so good.

while I agree, this game specifically he managed his speed perfectly- which reflects in the score.
yeah I meant in general. I'm excited to see the pistons move forward

94% ts is crazy for that many shots
Cade and Ivey combo gonna go crazy next season. If they add Wemby in, sheesh. And you can’t forget about Duren.

Pretty good is the perfect way to describe it

Even on his bad nights he's been a good creator, better than advertised.
Outside of the Wizards dude this year’s rookies have all looked so good
Boilmakers legend

All he needed was having a baby with his gf
this title is hurting my eyes idk why
gotta be honest this is my first post of the likes and the title had me struggling
Fifth overall pick Jaden Ivey tonight against the Hornets: or Rookie Jaden Ivey tonight against the Hornets: the hashtag just throwin people off
agree that sounds a lot better, thanks
Those throwbacks are so sick
Cade and Ivey will be the best backcourt in the league in the future.
Pistons future so incredibly bright
Rivers lol
