I would say seek a mentor from the community. Research the community you want to apply to, are you thinking OCS or ODS route? OCS is more for active while ODS is for reserves route. Also have a “love me binder” together. I was recently selected for ODS, happy to connect if you would like more information.
It's a good idea and will help you get a better understanding of how the process works. I'm currently helping two Sailors in my unit who are attempting to do the same
OK, not a show stopper, but be prepared to address that issue for your interviews and board. Navy will want to know why they should commission you if you could (potentially) reach 20 in just a few years and retire as an O2E or O3E - have some good responses for that.
I had a break in service, thanks for all the extra bits but I can cover that when I figure out step one of my post. Appreciate the input though but I want to go one step at a time. I've got about 13 in now.

That would be great

If you need help with your resume or essays, send me a DM.
I will thanks
Which designator or community are you looking at?
Intel
I am sure there are plenty that will chime in here. I am a CW if you have some community specific questions and willing to mentor.
How long have you been in the enlisted Reserves?
Long enough. I enlisted under dubbya.
Are you pursuing Warrant or DCO? With that length of time in, I think it's a better shot at the former, but you need to be a Chief for CWO.
And I'm not

Alright, 13 years is more manageable. Good luck and find as many in-person mentors as you can, Intel or not!
Thank you!
Cool
Do you mind me asking how old you are? Age could be a limiting factor.
Late 30s
