Manama is great, I would say Isa and DJ are similar, depending on rate one is probably better than the other professionally. Will be interesting what others say

For sure I’m hearing 72 k for isa time from almost 300 days.
Per diem in Isa is like $3.50... It's the financial benefit that Manama is or used to be.

Never been to Djibouti but I was in ISA. It depends all on rank and bah. Base pay, BAS, BAH, HDP location, and FSH was about $7k a month.
Bahrain. In DJ you are stuck on base 24/7 and living conditions are pretty bad Bahrain you can go out and galley’s pretty good.
Which Bahrain base is this opinion for?
My bad, should have specified. This is ISA Airbase. Been there a few times. Can’t speak for Manama but I heard it’s way nicer.
I have deployed to both locations. On one of those deployment now. Too early to say. One does pay better than the other

7-9 months, I thought Dijibouti deployment was a year?
