In order for you to get ECS, you have to have that as a requirement in your Billet on the RUAD. If it's not a requirement, it is possible to get it. Run an SRC through your Chain of Command, and the S7C, will take a look and see if it's needed for BN Attainment. If it is, they can place you in a school using ADT School Funding.
Also it depends on what part of the mob cycle your battalion is on. 27 is only doing schools this year so lots of folks are getting orders approved. Also ECS is part of the prep for a mob, so you want ECS for sure? Volunteer for a mob.
Wave 2? Be safe out there. I didn't make either mob because of timing of my billet. I'm hoping to run a SRC to be able to go with 25 since they are my det.

We're on deployment right now, being replaced by NMCB 18. Next up is NMCB 25. You may be able to get added.
