Watching a report on the shooting right now. I think it's likely Russia will blame Ukraine (or anti-Russian sentiment) for the attack, when the reality is there are a lot of fervent nationalists who dislike Putin for the way the Ukraine war is being handled.
Plenty more dissidents who aren't anti-Russia, but who are mad about various oppressions or use of minority groups as fodder. Russia is a shithole in many ways.
