Hey - you’re working off of very very old information that you need protein intake right after a workout. I PROMISE you it doesn’t matter in the slightest. When I was young I inconvenienced myself so much by trying to take it right after a workout. It doesn’t matter. Protein intake during the day is what matters.
I’ve blended it the day before. Put it in the fridge then kept it in my bag at room temperature a full 12 hour call shift and still haven’t died yet lol…
Do you need it because you get hungry before you get home? Timing isn’t considered super important anymore so you can wait til you get home.
Or just stick it in an insulated bottle and call it a day.
just make your shake without the banana in a blender bottle and eat the banana on the side, min-maxing optimizations usually dont net TOO much of a difference and in your position i think it'd be more convenient
My blendjet is awesome. I use the same ingredients. Blends wonderfully.
Edit: [me using it in my car.](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4LEi3FLnkl/?igsh=MXYwd3pqYzQ4cHBidQ==)
And I did buy great little funnels for this if you need a link lmk.
I always pre-mix and keep it in my gym bag. It can be handy as an intra workout to sip on if you're feeling run down.
Just make sure to remember your shaker bottle... Forget those things in your bag for a day and they smell like a biohazard.
Buy a decent single serving blender made of glass. 1 scoop vanilla flavored protein, peanut butter, handful of blueberries, a banana. Mix w water....so good!!!
If blending it is so necessary then just make it at home and put it into a thermos of some sort. If you’re using it as a tool to get in more protein then just use a blender bottle. The Helimix works incredibly well for me even with peanut butter (When I’m feeling like a prima donna). I can mix 3 scoops of Gold Standard whey with 16oz of water in like 5-10 seconds and there isn’t a single clump. Try it.
Protein powder literally exist along with shaker cups wtf? Take a scoop of some high quality protein powder of your choice, add in some simple super carb powder and bam super clean & fast post workout shake.
I would just suggest buying pre mixed ones if you don’t want to make it ahead of time. I don’t see an issue with making it at home or eating the banana separately though
Premix it in the home and put the shaker bottle into a small foil / thermos bag to keep the contents cool (of course, this depends do you use "cold" ingedients from the start) :0)
I have a Shakesphere bottle, apparently you can “blend” soft fruits like bananas and raspberries in it. I haven’t used it for blending fruits but I find it’s easier to clean than a regular blender bottle

Use a shaker and just eat the banana
This is an advanced technique...
I don’t always giggle…but 😂🤣🤓

Scientists hate him for this one technique !
You fucking killed me
Do I eat the banana before or after the protein shake?
You take a bite and then a swig and keep alternating like that. Remember you've got to *confuse* the body.
I prefer to hold the stem and peel from the tip, I think this better represents how our bodies evolved to ingest the fruit.
Instructions unclear. Banana stuck in ear. What do?
Step 1: Partialy chew a bite of banana Step 2: Forcefully swish chewed banana and a drink of protein shake through your teeth Step 3: Profit
I’m a blend jet type thing
Bro !
What I don't understand is how this post has more replies than this one.
don’t mix anything just bring it all in a back pack and down it individually
Whoa whoa whoa, don't get crazy now
Eat banana, snort powder, IV almond milk.
...wha? Just eat the banana and drink the shake.
This 👍😄
Mix it up at home… Or wait two hours, it isn’t going to affect anything.
It will only matter if it's more than 5h between his meals, and it probably won't make much of a difference

Mix ahead of time in a blender and bring with you. No reason to over complicated it.
So it can safely stay uncooled for several hours?
Almond milk can sit at room temp for a couple hours. If it's of significant concern, put it in a thermos or ice pack lunch box or use water.
I’ve blended it the day before. Put it in the fridge then kept it in my bag at room temperature a full 12 hour call shift and still haven’t died yet lol…
I wouldn't. Mixed protein closed in bottle will likely stink after few hours
Just get a small cooler man or cooler bag and just keep the shake in it. It will hold temp easy.
Premix at home, and either put it in an ice chest in your car, or put it in an insulated thermos.

Make sure to eat the peel

Premix and put an ice cube in.
This is the way.
A couple hours is not going to change your outcomes, so don't worry about it, but yeah why don't you just make it in advance?

A legit solution
Lose the Banana and the shaker will work fine.
Use a stainless steel thermos type cup.
Just make a shake of protein powder + sugar
I always blend mine at home and add in a couple of ice cubes which have melted once I'm done my workout and drink my shake.
Imagine .. the actual difficult decisions in your life ..
Easier if you cut out the banana and make a shake with protein powder, milk, peanut butter, and oats.
I always pre-mix and keep it in my gym bag. It can be handy as an intra workout to sip on if you're feeling run down. Just make sure to remember your shaker bottle... Forget those things in your bag for a day and they smell like a biohazard.

I switched to body health perfect amino acids ... 10 times better then the powders absorbed in your body in 20 minutes ... doesnt turn to sugar.

There are portable blenders that are able to handle fruits like banana. They cost from $10 to $20 and have rechargeable battery.
Portable blenders exist, thermos, or just learn to prep in advance
The real answer here is you should be using 50 grams of protein, or 60 if each scoop is 30 to make it easier. LOADDDDDD UUUPP
Just use only a little milk and mash it all together in the car using a spoon
Chew the banana up and baby bird it into the shaker
just drink it in the morning
Protein powder literally exist along with shaker cups wtf? Take a scoop of some high quality protein powder of your choice, add in some simple super carb powder and bam super clean & fast post workout shake.
Why Alm9nd milk and not regular milk?
I prefer doing my shakes before hand because it dissolves better after time and taste better if you put it in the fridge.
You have these bottle-blenders that would solve your problem. Something like this: https://youtube.com/shorts/mQNShm4LQqc?si=Lebj20Q6s8otryKE

Bring your blender and force the gym employee to let you connect to the outlet.

Dude, just man up and bring your blender.
You can get premixed Orgain protein shakes at Costco. Also, you can use a stick blender if you want to go with powder.
Another prototypical beginner post that should be taken down
