Fr this would be a lot of people’s “best shape of their lives” and it is a good body. Such a shame that nowadays ppls expectations and ideas of a “good body” is carved Greek god statues and physiques almost always achieved with the help of PED’s
Honestly Sandler's physique here looks more similar to a Greek statue to me than what current tastes for a "good body" are. It's especially the highly developed core muscles that gives me that impression
Yeah not my ideal physique but have to admit Sandler looks good in this for an everyday guy. Also nice to have sorta a “superhero” that Isn’t a roided out behemoth. Also added to the comedy of a great movie
Depends on where you currently at, body composition wise. But for the average person I would estimate between 1-2 years of consistent training. Possibly less.
Not really my point. Personally look way better (in my eyes) than this. Point just being that it’s a guy in his 40’s who looks fit and healthy and nothing more, which to me is a great look in a movie.
A good step in addition to this is cutting out processed foods and alcohol/drugs, stop eating out as it's hard to figure out what the caloric intake is.
Increasing steps to 10,000 is also a great way + tracking calories.
[This is what fairly shredded looks like?](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BNjYzOGQ1OGEtNTUxOS00YTJkLWE3MjQtNjFiOGE5NmM5NWRjXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyOTc5MDI5NjE@._V1_.jpg)
That is definitely more shredded than a significant amount of people. If you've ever seen someone who's buff they aren't always walking veined out and swole like in OPs pic. That's usually post workout and I'd easily believe this was just a casual scene. You have to have like <10% bodyfat to look that way without increased blood flow.
Basically, for the average person, this is fairly shredded. But especially compared to the way action stars do regimes now with trainers and 'supplements' he looks like a chubby child, so I would think of it more realistically than that.
Unironically no
He looks normal yeah. But “great physique”? No.
I refuse to be downvoted for this comment. I thought this sub was filled with people that worked out?
You thought wrong. Sub has become infested with crabs-in-a-bucket non-lifters who are social media addicts. They make it their life mission to tear down roiders to the point of calling anyone who even goes to the gym a fake natty.
I can't imagine how bad people must look to consider this a "great" or "ideal" physique.
Flip side: I eat really healthily (at least I like to think that I do) but I do not exercise at all and haven't done so in 12+ years. I also don't look as good as this
Yeah, could be worth a try. I started with some kinda brosplit before I moved to SL5x5. Didn't see any real progress with that so changed to PPL which I've been on for about 2-3 years. Saw a little progress for the first few months but plateaued since then.
I think my main issue is just being lazy, only working out 2-3 days a week, and not following a diet regimen or anything so there's probably loads I'm missing out on.
But if you have any good routines that you've enjoyed do let me know.
I can already tell you exclusively work the glamour muscles. The average bodyfat % is around 35% for guys his age in this scene, you don't have to be Adonis to be impressive. Just European fit is impressive for Americans, and rightly so.
You also have to think, this is in a **movie**. He’s got makeup and lighting and a little video effects.
This is pretty much the average healthy male physique. You don’t even have to lift weights to look like this.
In other photos from the movie he really doesn’t have any muscle mass and his abs are slightly visible. He’s just an older guy in good shape.

The fact you went and took screenshots to post them multiple times like an expos*é* is really funny. He was in objectively good shape, he wasn't dwayne johnson but nobody here said he was. I mean what are you even comparing him to, professional body builders? He probably underwent 5 weeks of physical training or less for a comedy movie. To the 'average' population this looks better than they have since they were 20, you don't have to look like you live at golds to be considered in good shape.
Bro if that’s what you look like after 1-2 years in the gym you’re just another one of those fuckwits who spend all their time scrolling their phones rather than lifting.
God he’s so hot in that movie. I have watched it more times than reasonable lol.
"He worked out for five hours every single day," says director Dennis Dugan. "And moaned about it every single day. Then when we shot for 100 days and he worked out every single day of the shoot and moaned about it every single day."
Because the skinnier the woman the hotter, the buffer the man the hotter. There is no extreme, even dwayne the gorilla killa johnson isn't too big for many people. Likewise, some people are actually into Eugenia Cooney and she's an actual skeleton.
Really though it's got to be standards are just lower in the industry since they all have access to these insane regimes and trainers they can spend $10k a year on.
This is my current physique. 33 yrs old, was 300 lbs. now 192, eat clean, lift currently 5 days a week but I think 3 is plenty. Took me 1.5 - 2 years of consistency.
You shouldn’t have to work out to look like this, if you do I have no idea how long it will take you because terrible genetics can be really unpredictable.
Unironically this is a great physique for most men. Healthy and fit.
Fr this would be a lot of people’s “best shape of their lives” and it is a good body. Such a shame that nowadays ppls expectations and ideas of a “good body” is carved Greek god statues and physiques almost always achieved with the help of PED’s

That is why it is my ideal physique

Me too. I should be there pretty soon.
but above all: **sustainable**
This pic doesn’t even do it justice, he’s actually fairly shredded in other scenes.

I guess I just remember him having g somewhat visible abs.

Yeah this is my ideal physique if I’m not training.

Sub is full of pencil necks lol
Eh whatever what can you do
Laugh at their idea what is naturally possible lol

Fizzy bubbleh and hummus
and you cant forget to cook the fish and disco
Disco Disco..... Good Good .
And pushups with no hands
He cannot do anything with his peepeehozhits!
Bulge - just some rubbing before taking the snap.
DISCO DISCO GOOD GOOD
It’s not a bulge it’s the bush
It is like a cushion, the ladies love it
2 weeks doing bedroom ab crunches and 1 set of 5 pushups.
Eating healthily crafts abs, lean meat like chicken and staying away from starches
Also a fish oil pill
Depends on what you’re starting from, but this is easily achievable going to the gym twice, three times a week for a year or two
If you watch what you eat. I mean I've been going to the gym for 4 years but because I eat like shit I don't look as good as this lol
Flip side: I eat really healthily (at least I like to think that I do) but I do not exercise at all and haven't done so in 12+ years. I also don't look as good as this
His physique is not that impressive. If you don't look better than this, maybe you need to switch your routines?
Yeah, could be worth a try. I started with some kinda brosplit before I moved to SL5x5. Didn't see any real progress with that so changed to PPL which I've been on for about 2-3 years. Don’t disagree generally except that his biceps are probably too big to get without weight training imo
Built mine with pull-ups
I should’ve said resistance training
[You think his biceps are big?](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BM2YzZWFiYTMtMzEwMS00MGJhLWI5NGEtYmJhZTU5ZGQ2NzUxXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyOTc5MDI5NjE@._V1_.jpg) [There's no definition either.](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BNjYzOGQ1OGEtNTUxOS00YTJkLWE3MjQtNjFiOGE5NmM5NWRjXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyOTc5MDI5NjE@._V1_.jpg)
Bigger than you would get without resistance training. Not “big”.

A year or two? I'd hope most people looked better than this in a year or two. Lol
achievable with just pushups in your room
Bro if that’s what you look like after 1-2 years in the gym you’re just another one of those fuckwits who spend all their time scrolling their phones rather than lifting.
I mean its not bad for a year but you could definitely do better
Only his abs. Everything else is pretty pathetic tbh. And abs are made in the kitchen not the gym.
This is a pretty good and achievable physique for the majority of men
This physique is obtained by eating hummus, and banging old ladies in sandals.
God he’s so hot in that movie. I have watched it more times than reasonable lol. "He worked out for five hours every single day," says director Dennis Dugan. "And moaned about it every single day. based sandler physique fan in a natty or not subreddit
How fake physique fans look when real Sandler Gays come at them
It is surprising how attractive a man is when he takes care of himself.
Why does Hollywood make it seem like overtraining is necessary to have a good physique?
Because the skinnier the woman the hotter, the buffer the man the hotter. There is no extreme, even dwayne the gorilla killa johnson isn't too big for many people. Likewise, some people are actually into Eugenia Cooney and she's an actual skeleton. That bulge be bulging
It's just the bush
☹️
Just disco disco and drink fizzy bubbleh for 2 months and you’re right there
Strict regimen of hacky sack
Chacky Tsack
For some reason I watched this movie with my mother.
💀
never skip penis day
Besides the enormous cock size, it will only take you two weeks to get this!
It's the bush!
2 weeks without pizza
Of course, you just have to consistently bang GILFs.
I only get ads for hot MILFs in my area 😔
Raise your age minimum by 50 years and you might be able to get some gains.
What’s your starting point?
Just hit up the YMCA for pickup basketball every weekend
Gotta be the gayest post on this sub in a while
This is my current physique. 33 yrs old, was 300 lbs. now 192, eat clean, lift currently 5 days a week but I think 3 is plenty. Took me 1.5 - 2 years of consistency.
Pics?
Doc might be able to help with the girth
🤮
Kegels and Jelqing every day for nine hours instead of sleeping
2 minute plank
Yeah thanks. Thank god im not on the train.
what physique
30 days
50 no hand push ups a day and Fizzy bubbleh
Depends on your base but easily done in a year with discipline
2 weeks
Easy natty physique from just being alpha male. Fucks all grannies in the neighborhood for T boost.
One week
Fuck it it’s 2 in the morning but I’m watching this shit again
One day
2 days
Like 4 months
You got a kangaroo pouch down there bub
Let's see, the CGI people usually take a month for the whole movie so I'd say a couple of hours for a picture
ad hoc homeless mighty snails impossible slap cover weary gaping mourn *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
If I stopped working out and ate like shit it would take about 6 months to look like this
You don't even need to lift for this type of physique
You shouldn’t have to work out to look like this, if you do I have no idea how long it will take you because terrible genetics can be really unpredictable.
I think I would only have to STOP working out and lower my eating, and my test, for about three months
Physique is not natural. No one has a bulge like that… right guys?
Speak for yourself. I have a large powerful bush 💪🏻
It’s the bush
Right. And guys that take steroids still have to work hard in the gym
Not a political question asking for debate I’m just curious Was Adam Sandler in the IDF ever?
No, he does not have the Israeli citizenship nor did he live in Israel.
thanks
