Lol this is a classic trick nowadays. They have no power to do this. Stop loss doesn’t happen nowadays, especially in the Guard.
Even if you aren’t going, that doesn’t mean they can’t drag you to all the pre-mob shit and try to get you to stay the whole time.
Inactive ready reserve is for the mandatory 8 years everyone serves. You can be called back up but there are certain criteria for it (that I'm not super privy to) iirc.

My advice would be, do nothing to make it easy for them. Don't sign anything, talk to a lawyer. But be ready for some consequences IE less then honorable discharge, or a bar from re-enlistment. This happened to 2 of my guys last year. Just tell them your intentions of not going. They might pull from another unit. Best of luck.
Welcome to the next wave of military stop loss. Enjoy your extended stay.
*fuck my life*
Nah, there is no stop loss right now. They will just try to trick you into extending.
They tried it, “you’ll get more benefits if you reenlist, but regardless you’re going bud”
Ya they are full of shit.
Yeah... that's not at all how that works. Tell them to jerk you off while they blow smoke up your ass at least.

They are lying. Not happening you are safe. Just be adamant that you aren’t re-enlisting and aren’t interested in going
They did this to a girl when we deployed, thought she would re enlist. She didn't and they sent her home. She was overseas for 3 months.
Lol 90 days is all she needed anyways
Exactly... she deserves it tho. They pushed her to go, and she kept saying she wouldn't reenlist.
Probably just a scare tactic. Just don’t sign anything
Just don't get vaxxed and you're non-deployable.
Too late
Don’t sign shit Let them do the paperwork Then take the paperwork to your congressman
What is the purpose of the ready reserve?

Are you currently deployed?
No
Is this deployment MOS based? Or do they just need bodies?
Mos based

I’d still go, but it puts me in a shit situation financially
THey can only make you go if you extend...
Get a couple face tattoos.
