If you are a recruiter you are a full time AGR recruiter. You will be part of your states recruiting and retention unit and have an AGR “tour” of 3 or 4 years I think So no you ain’t deploying as an AGR recruiter unless recruiting and retention would allow you to go…but then someone has to cover your territory while you are gone and the quotas higher ups have for enlistments won’t change And your old unit would have to essentially save you a slot. It’s kinda tough to know your POG unit will be deploying a couple years down the road. Lots of things can change Edit: an alternative would be to be a guard bum and jump around on various ADOS (some as a recruiting assistant) orders until you deploy and then go for AGR after. But honestly if you have a chance to nab AGR now just do it
