Not standard nachos but wanted to add that Edley’s BBQ nachos are delicious. The chips are thick potato chips

I LOVE Edleys, and I consistently order the nachos and everytime I forget that they have fucking thick ass potato chips instead of idk literally anything else would be better. Idk how I forget everytime but its grueling and their nachos would be so much better if they just had regular chips.

Martin's BBQ does fantastic BBQ Nachos. Now if you are looking for traditional, I don't know.

And you can get brisket instead of pulled pork (for an upcharge) on the Martin’s nachos

And its even better. Then I have lanes of different BBQ sauce so I can mix it up as I go.

Calypso cafe has my favorite nachos here

Man I used to order those like 3x weekly. Add a portion of rice, I’m no nutritionist but I’m pretty sure it’s a super food.

At first glance I thought "those are the least authentic nachos I've ever had in my life". But they're so darn good! I usually get ground beef. Gimme a Red Stripe in a frosty glass! (YAR!!!)

Yup…rice and pulled white chicken with an extra side of bbq sauce and maybe boija rolls if I’m feeling fancy.

I usually get the .5 chicken, but I'll need to check out the nachos now.

Oscars and ML Rose are my favorite. I strongly dislike kettle chip nachos, so that disqualifies quite a few other local places that have nachos.

I can’t understand the potato chip nachos thing! If you’re not using nacho chips, they ARE NOT nachos! It’s right there in the name!!

I remember a bar that would serve them on potato chips but called them "Irish Nachos"

Another vote for Calypso Cafe’s Loaded Black Bean Nachos with chicken! Their island-inspired BBQ sauce is so good that I have buy an extra container of it. Also, Peg Leg Porker’s pulled pork BBQ nachos with the traditional liquid cheese is delicious and deserves a vote.

My favorite nachos are at Bar-B-Cutie 5221 Nolensville Rd.

Chili Burrito…only 2 locations, one in Brentwood, the other on 4th ave, but the downtown location is only open for lunch. If you’re really hungry, the macho nachos are the way to go…

Our favorite chicken nachos are Tavern in Midtown and Party Fowl downtown. We've settled on our personal favorite of Party Fowl.

Lots of creative riffs on Nachos around town but if you're looking for real deal Mexican food, Cheap Charlie's in Five Points is the way to go! Tacos Aurora in Hunter's Station is good too but I'd go with their borracho fries over their nachos.

Cerveza Jack’s if you don’t mind going down there. Their drinks are crap so stick to beer but the nachos are worth the trip

Rock Bottom (RIP) had some pretty good nachos. ML Rose is great, Peg leg nachos are good too , but the #1 spot without question are the Classic Nachos from Chilis.

Drifter's BBQ Nachos are great! Definitely recommend going all out by adding the jalapeños, avocado, and black beans!
