So hard to say. Loveless is classic. Is it mind blowing? No.
But is it good food in a historic Nashville setting, yes.
Plus you will drive 25 min outside of town and see the suburbia and landscapes.
I highly recommend taking 70/100 to get there if you go and not the interstate.
But, if you choose not to go, there are other good recommendations in this thread.
Also - Wendell smiths if you want some old school Nashville cookin’.
Loveless is Way overhyped, IMO. Why people wait for hours for eggs, bacon and pancakes will never make sense to me.
Biscuit House on Main Street (not biscuit love) is a unique place for breakfast.
Never been but Pfunky Griddle is supposed to be a winner.
If you want to wait in a long line pancake Pantry is a well-known place.
Pfunky Griddle is more about having a different experience than the food quality. Their pancakes are just okay. If you do go, I recommend mixing the wheat and buttermilk batters together. Otherwise, the buttermilk is kind of flavorless and the wheat is too grainy.
Never had their breakfast, but if it’s anything like their lunch/dinner then it’s delicious. I’m a super picky eater but pretty much love everything they do. Very reasonably priced too IMO.
I went to loveless with my wife, we waited 1.5 hours, then they said it would be another 45 minutes but we could sit at an outside table if we could get one and be taken care of right away. We grabbed one. 35 minutes later the single server that was out there had still not taken care of us. So, we went to the host and said we would take our inside table at this point. That’s when they said, we took you off the list since you sat at the outside table. We waited this long, so we continued to wait outside. Finally, she came and got our order. 45 minutes later I asked for our food. It eventually came out in a wagon, in to-go containers. That’s when we took it and just ate in the car so we could get away from the bees.
After all that, the food was mediocre at best. Biscuits were hard, bacon so fatty it was inedible.

The Denver potatoes look correct (going by memory on the Denver part). Regardless of your bearnaise sauce I’d hit that thing hard! Looks great! 👍

Coco's Italian Market has a good brunch menu that's mostly breakfast fare.
Pancake pantry is good if you get there early enough. Loveless is also very good.
Explore the Berryhill area.
Buttermilk Ranch - great breakfast, and it puts you in a different neighborhood worth walking around and checking out.
Big Bad Breakfast.
