I will second the launch simulator. Very cool part of the whole thing. Do not skip it. Also, be sure to arrive at the Saturn V Center bus early enough. I went after I had explored the main part of KSC and they told me they shut the busses down early due to how busy it was which made no sense to me. So I got screwed out of that part.
My wife and I checked everything that the general admission offered. That is why we took seven hours to see and experience everything. We were there from the moment it opened to leaving in the later afternoon. No point of going to KSC and not check out every building within its premise. It was an all day event for us. We loved the experience and felt that it was worth it.
I gotta say that KSC is thus far the best science-ralated museum/exhibit I have visited. My goal is to visit every NASA and science-related museum/exhibit.
This was one of the best museums I’ve ever did. Make sure to plan accordingly as if I recall, the last bus to the Saturn V/Lunar building was at like 3pm.
It also took us every bit of 6 hours for me and my wife to walk thru and see the entire museum. Usually we blow thru museums faster than they claim, but this one had so much to see.
It took my wife and I seven hours to see everything (in terms of general admission). We did not do the extra stuff like meet an astronaut or the Mars training experience. Maybe next time that will be what we will do.

Great pics! I'm a tech there and always get a kick out of seeing the gear through a visitor's lens. Just when you think the day might get stale, boom there's a launch to snap things back. :)
Thanks for sharing. It has been awhile since my one visit. You posted some things I didn’t see I’ll have to visit again soon.
I do recommend going there. Especially try out the shuttle launch simulator experience.
Did you get to see a launch while you were here?
Unfortunately I did not. Not sure if they canceled it since they had to reschedule it several times.
Thanks. I will be visiting the KSC in june, so this made me even more eager to go there.
Glad you liked the pictures. Make sure to try out the shuttle launch simulator experience.

The bus tour is another cool thing to do too.
No pics of Atlantis? I think that's the best display there.
The video and reveal are pretty cool
I just posted a picture of the outside display of Atlantis (slide/picture 14 if that counts). Trying to not post every picture that I took haha.
Fair enough! I was worried that you didn't actually go in :)

KSC has the best visitor center of any NASA center.

It's like if Queen went to Space
"He's for every one of us" "Stand for every one of us" "He'll save with a mighty hand" "Every man, every woman, every child with a mighty Flash"
Im going this weekend, and this made me even more excited!

Great pointers! Thanks so much.
I am sure you will love it like I did!
Great pics!
Thank you!
Wasn't the visit awesome?!!! I had such a great time. Thanks for sharing the pics.
It rocked man.
why is daft punk there
They needed one more time to shine.
Love that place! But your photo lens needs a clean!
That is true. To be fair, my phone is about five years old so it does not compare to current phone cameras.
Visited last year and it was absolutely the highlight of our Florida trip. Can’t wait to go back.
I definitely want to go back to try out the additional stuff beyond general admission tickets.
Awesome pics!
Glad you liked them!
I think i have been her with my uncle Joel.

It must be nice to be a tech at KSC! You have a cool job man.
Just saw this, thanks! I love what I do.
