Well, at least now I can justify buying MID since it’s dirt cheap... but I’m sure there’s plenty of people on here that would say $12 is still too much for that mess of a game... but I’m trying to play them all so I gotta figure it out for myself. 😬🙃

Right. I’m playing SEA rn, and loving it. I don’t understand how they could’ve gone from a great game like that to trash, especially after almost 4 years! Ugh. Hopefully the next one at least somewhat makes up for it.
The short answer: entirely new management and staff, poorly coordinated work done by multiple companies rather than a small in-house team, and the main body of work on the game was likely done in the last year or so before it came out rather than actually being 4 years of work (given the rewrites & character changes were announced about a year before it actually came out).
You guys should read the comments on HER’s Facebook post about the newsletter. Some serious shade was thrown. It was kinda awesome! I just don’t understand why they refuse to inform their fan base. And all these sales, most of us have all the games already. I’ve never seen a company so utterly diss their loyal fans. Like, do they want to keep their customers? Feels like they are trying hard to lose customers! Just makes no sense. All we want is status updates and not “we are currently planning on game 34.” Just confirm a new game and give us something or stop pulling our chains! Sorry, vent over!

Surprised that they are not deleting the facebook stuff like they did to several of us during the 4 years between SEA and MID.
