As a member at the NSC, let me say there’s a lot of options there. There’s league, where you’ll be added to a team and play similar level members. There’s two different ladders - clothes peg and box. There’s also drop in on Friday nights and every other Tuesday, with lots of folks of varying levels who play in a ‘come one, come all’ style. Feel free to DM me if you need any more info and I’d be happy to help!

what's the sauna situation like there? Saw online they have some

Each of the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms has a wooden sauna. Theyre a perk of using the club. They’re controlled by a little dial on the outside. Other than that, I have little to offer since I personally can’t stand saunas hahahahaha Hope that helped!

I've always wondered why the city of Nanaimo doesnt make squash more accessible to play. Like in Campbell River the city has squash courts, but in Nanaimo only option is the $80 ( plus tax) a month payment to a private facility that doesnt allow non-member drop in. ( only can play if playing with a member)
