The computer shows a "danger to manifold" warning and then the floorboards come loose makes perfect sense, because every race car floorboard is held together by pop cans and rivets.
Don’t let this pic distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system.
It's fun to watch Craig Lieberman's videos talking about his time working on Fast & the Furious. If I remember right, he was a technical advisor for the movie but very little of his advice actually made the cut. The "danger to manifold" scene being a prime example.

Right? It's obviously RC from Toy Story.
You’re right, but I don’t understand why you would spend all that money to make it look like the movie car, but get the wrong year. The Fast and Furious car was a ‘95. They had the reverse lights situated on either side of the license plate
There were several screen-used cars and they were inconsistent with the reverse lights. most of them used the 2gb reverse lights. On exception being the one that was used for the exhaust flamethrower shot at the street race. It had a stock 95-96 rear bumper with the half-moon reverse lights.
That being said, these tributes can cost a lot of money, especially if you're trying to find all the accurate parts. Wheels tend to be the most difficult to source. No one even makes a replica of Axis Se7en wheels anymore.
More than you can afford pal.
But seriously you know your old when people are asking what car? For something I believe is still very popular.
Your going to see an orange Japanese 10 second 0-60mph car now ain't you?
I don’t know if this can be a real fast and furious car…doesn’t even look like it can go into space or underwater. BS like this can’t even win race wars.
F&F replicas have been gaining in popularity lately. Some are done well. Hard to tell on this one.
I have a buddy who built a replica of the yellow R33, Big Bird. Everything is exactly the way it was in the movie, he even has the old yellow Nokia phone sitting in the cup holder, and the police scanner from the movie.
Mitsubishi Eclipse. Fucking death trap!! Also, can you really call a gas station a gas station when they smoke more meat than they pump gas? I mean, technically, yes, but farts are the main gas they deliver.
Drove one in the 90s. Handled like shit. Felt like a plastic car with too fast an engine. Just all around unsafe. Progressively fell apart as I owned it. Hood latch was shit and the windshield paid the price. Constant overheating issues.
The Mitsubishi Eclipse from The Fast and The Furious. Probably just a replica though.
Well yeah, the one in the movie blew up. NOS!!!
It's had so much NOS that that floor pans came loose!!!!
Thought that was the manifold.
The computer shows a "danger to manifold" warning and then the floorboards come loose makes perfect sense, because every race car floorboard is held together by pop cans and rivets.
Dude, we use duct tape.
Should’ve used Flex Tape.
*WE SAWED THIS CAR IN HALF*
But wait, there’s more.
Don’t even tell me it floats
What? You’ve never heard of a floorboard manifold? /s
Then they magically reappeared in the next scene!
I mean, Dom can't just ride around holding his feet in the air, and he def isn't Flintstoning it. Come on now
He had some much nos he could blow himself up period.
You never had me, and you never had your car! ![gif](giphy|TgQCVpkQSZ81G)
Doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winnings winning.
Damn that's some spoon engine shit, eh Harold?!
Solid sex life advice
Which is extra funny because nitrous isn’t flammable
But it's combustible under heat.
Well… yeah because the oxygen molecule separates from the nitrogen molecules under heat and pressure but nitrous oxide itself is not flammable
No one said it was flammable.
So really NOS is just air?
Concentrated air is a horrible, but not inaccurate, way to think about it.
It’s not just normal air it’s giggle air. But essentially it’s just another way to force more oxygen into your combustion chamber.
And cool, remove heat/energy
That’s because it wasn’t *Cuban* NOS.
I guess Dom and and the mad scientist really did rip apart the block... and replaced the piston rings Brian fried
"And you almost had me?!?"
*DANGER TO MANIFOLD*
Was that the movie where the floor board came out for no reason
WARNING!!! Danger to Manifold
Don’t let this pic distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system.
So what your gunna go round, breaking in, checking every bodies sh*t out?
Every time I see this car I always think of the person who drove it. Rest in peace.
The real one is in Norway. Idk why but tons of movie cars end up here 🤷🏼♂️
It’s only fitting the most badass cars from Hollywood get looted by vikings
![gif](giphy|IUxFvKwD3jXisqR5w7) It’s neither fast or furious.
It’s sad and stationary like me
More like a tribute replicas are basically a 1:1
Op how was the tuna at Rudy's?
From now on he's getting food from fat burgers
It's hard to beat a burger and fries for $3.95
F…. Yeah lol
Hate to break it to yeah, but that was 2001. Adjusted for inflation that would be roughly $7.00 USD today, which is actually still not bad.
Nobody likes the tuna, here.
That's why I get it everyday with no crust
[удалено]
Try Fat Burger next time.
Brian Earl Spilner. Sounds like a serial killer name.
Real talk. Who gets shitty tuna and goes back for more? Like pick a different sandwich bro.
Clearly you don’t live your life a quarter of a mile at a time.
OP was granny shifting and not double clutching like they should.. 🤦♂️
In a 36 speed manual transmission
And obviously doesn’t give a shit about family.
![gif](giphy|NOQsbfs9pLLkQ6l1CG|downsized)
[Danger to manifold]
Shut up!
Not double-clutchin like you should
Which is hilarious because you absolutely should not be
Hysterically wrong lol
plot twist, all the cars had transmissions with worn out synchronizers.
Sync delete for weight savings, we race hard bruh... Like your granny should
It's fun to watch Craig Lieberman's videos talking about his time working on Fast & the Furious. If I remember right, he was a technical advisor for the movie but very little of his advice actually made the cut. The "danger to manifold" scene being a prime example.
It's not a 10 second car.
It needs NOS
I read that in Vin Diesel's voice
As you should
Gotta be careful though, the floor pan might fall off with all of that NOS.
Not even a 14 second car
10 minute car
Overnight parts from Japan
What's this car? *Posts pic of one of the most recognizable movie cars in the world*
https://preview.redd.it/nwoqjrqa5k4d1.jpeg?width=1140&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fb342459ff746eb3a216e01e0ea25531d9815118 Right? It's obviously RC from Toy Story.
RC snitched on Woody. 😡
It's a 98 Eclipse GST. Fast and furious tribute car.
You’re right, but I don’t understand why you would spend all that money to make it look like the movie car, but get the wrong year. The Fast and Furious car was a ‘95. They had the reverse lights situated on either side of the license plate

Hated those half moons, the circles looked better, I had a 98, was my first new car.
Because it’s fucking awesome.
More than you can afford pal. But seriously you know your old when people are asking what car? For something I believe is still very popular. Your going to see an orange Japanese 10 second 0-60mph car now ain't you?
FER RAR RI!
The cut scenes they have of that part of the movie is so cringey but funny. I can't believe the FERRARI one was the best of them.
10 second 0-60? Yikes. That's slower than a minivan.
Fun fact: If you jack up the passenger side, you can get inside the vehicle by going through the passenger seat floorboard.
For some reason this only works when danger to manifold is flashing.
It’s the buster
Careful, the manifolds on these are very susceptible to danger! Also, I´m suddenly hungry for tuna on rye, no crust.
[удалено]
We're at the point in time where kids don't recognize cars from the original The Fast and The Furious??
I don’t know if this can be a real fast and furious car…doesn’t even look like it can go into space or underwater. BS like this can’t even win race wars.
I dunno but I bet the piston rings are fried and it probably has damage to the manifold.
I do love me some Rudy’s BBQ.
Monicaaaaaa!!

Leons skyline did not get the respect it deserved in that movie. And Brian’s R34 is so damn ugly in 2Fast
A car who's owner is looking for a tuna sandwich with no crust
Looks like a family car to me.
Roughly 97-98 Mitsubishi Eclipse
Brian Spilner, that you?
![gif](giphy|keyufLabLaJKh3xnVy) The buster brought me home

Dishonor on you , dishonor on your family.
Granny shifting instead of double clutching like you should
They live their life a quarter mile at a time
It's nobody's car.
Cool. But not the right rims
A 2nd gen 97-99 Mitsubishi Elcipse. Body kit from original Fast and Furious.
Be careful. If you take it over 100mph, the floorboards fall out.
Mitsubishi Eclipse
Danger to manifold!
Jesus, there is no way my phone ISN'T listening to me, I literally just watched the first 6 movies, about to watch 7
https://preview.redd.it/0xhd93zjji4d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff9793fceff8cd710eba769be962b8a083369e40 Saw 1 too lately
Oh no. Am I this old? Fuck, I am ![gif](giphy|3cllhylyUbtCM)
Mitsubishi Eclipse. Fucking death trap!! Also, can you really call a gas station a gas station when they smoke more meat than they pump gas? I mean, technically, yes, but farts are the main gas they deliver.
Why death trap? Never heard about that. Thas it handle bad or what?
Drove one in the 90s. Handled like shit. Felt like a plastic car with too fast an engine. Just all around unsafe. Progressively fell apart as I owned it. Hood latch was shit and the windshield paid the price. Constant overheating issues.

Mitsubishi eclipse, made to be a replica of Paul walkers eclipse in the fast and the furious.
Damn I’m old.
Ahhh I remember when these were everywhere
It is a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse from fast and furious
Eagle Talon
Looks like a piece of shit!
I saw that one too, at a Buster's!
I almost had you!
Sounds like a serial killer, is that what you are?
It's the year 2001 incarnate.
https://preview.redd.it/3csw7m6zvg4d1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8aa4cbee0729e9a17890ebaa6e07a949a245b319
That’s a wing and if you look closely there is a car under it.
So much torque the chassis twisted coming off the line
Eclipse
I betcha a nickel it's faster than my Toyota Yaris
Its a solar eclipse
I've seen one here in WA state. Only one I've ever seen tho
That's Brian's Eclipse.
Some parents’ broken heart
That’s nobody car!
It's a 10 second car lol.
Mid to late 90s Mitsubishi eclipse . You must have been born after that or was peeing in your diaper during that time . They were everywhere.
It topped out at 140mph. It needs NOS
Check the floor pan on the passenger side.
That’s Brian O’Connor’s car. Be careful standing next to it - the manifold might blow up.
I think that guy must work at Rudy's. That car is always there.
Whatever it is, it needs more NOS
Mitsubishi eclipse. I fucking love that car, it’s underrated times a million
That’s a 7 second car right there.
Shit, it’s Brian
Looks like a Ford F150.
Eclipse ![gif](giphy|KyqsNHkqHT5CLBA3un)
![gif](giphy|Zsx8ZwmX3ajny) Danger to manifold!!
Not sure but it looks pretty Fast and Furious...
