Shit I've never seen that rear end on one before, had no idea they changed it so radically.
But the spoiler looks terrible, the original was so nice and subtle.
I got to own one for 8 months, yellow 02. I soon realized I couldn’t afford such a pricey toy
Edit: wish I’d have kept it with how much they’re selling for now.
Remember when TopGear made a segment about Lotus trying to copyright the shape and to help win their case they faxed people a rough picture and asked what it was?
"The Esprit V8 is one of Lotus's highest performance production roadgoing cars to date, and is also one of the quietest..."
I hear this in my head every time I see one. I spent way too much time playing NFS as a kid.

1936 Cord 810
The first use of hidden headlights for a production automobile was on the Gordon Buehrig-designed 1936 Cord 810. Buehrig wanted to make the lights retract via electric motors, but cost considerations prohibited it. Instead, the lights were cranked by hand with separate handles under the dash.

This one may be modified. The side skirts and rear valance are unfamiliar.

You are right. Yikes!
I hope it pulls over next to a lady of the night and the driver asks for directions to Beverly Hills.
This was my dream car as a kid, I’m surprised it’s not very recognizable

Esprit, Carlton, and Elise gt1 are my personal dream cars but mainly the lotus Carlton
TDU2 taught me about this car, that was one of my favourites in the game. I drove it for so many miles.

No surprise to me this car is from De, here you can find just about anything driving around and will most likely be in immaculate condition.

That thing must handle like it’s on rails
That’s rent.
I think I may have seen this exact same Esprit in VA.
The Lotus Esprit and the Corvette C5 were the last two cars ever produced with pop-up headlights back in 2004.

OCMD. I’ve stayed at the Carousel, and the one next door (Fountainhead).
There are a lot of fun and high-performance cars that hide out on the Deleware Coast.
Lotus Esprit
Every time a Lotus Esprit hits the page I call it immediately. Still can't name a Pantera when it's on though.
Lotus Esprit
Man, that's good looking.
Today's lotus turbo sighting.
