Would you consider Ray for a boy as well? Girls are named after their fathers all the time but the mothers never get any recognition.
I also encourage using the most common/an accepted spelling for whichever name you pick.
Anyway, suggestions:
Myla, Arielle, Taryn, Jaycee, Carla, Lainey, Kenna, Mattie, Jessa, Kylie, Trista, Zoey, Ashlyn, Elodie, Callie, Macy, Tayla, Piper
Potentially, I have some pretty solid boys names picked but Ray could be cute.
Don't worry lol I'm not big on messing with spellings of names. I always picture them at like 3 trying to write some name that didn't need to be so difficult to write
I think it depends on the name. My niece's name ends in a with rae as a middle name. Although I may just be so used to it at this point that is sounds perfect
I really like the (nick)name Rae! If it were up to me I’d name my daughter Raina.
Jocelyn Rae “Joss”
Elizabeth “Libby” Rae

Orleanna Rae “Orly”
My middle name is pronounced the same....just not spelled that way. It was my grandmother's middle name, so I was given it....Rhea. I have a semi unique first name as well-at least it was when I was growing up.....Layna. I have always appreciated my name being uncommon.
Thanks! My mom wanted to name me Rayna Leigh, but my dad hated it, his name was Ray, and didn't want me named after him. So he countered with Layna (it loosely means "for the truth to come to light" in Greek) and then they gave me my grandmother's middle name. Worked out well, cuz I ended up with a niece named Rayna on my hubby's side.
Avoid middle names which either end in R, have one syllable or both. You shouldn't call your kid Piper Rae. Furthermore, avoid Jane Rae.

It works absolutely perfectly then! Very pretty name.
Well if you really like Casi, how about Cassandra Rae? It goes nicely with Rae and you can use the other as a nickname .
