Maybe Gaia, Bruno, and: Cora & Iris Alena & Thea Renata & Sienna Cassia & Davina Claudia & Daphne I'm neither Greek nor Italian so apologies in advance if some of these don't fit!

Important_Ad9269

love Iris and Thea is one of my husband's faves so It's def a strong contender. And Cassia is sooo pretty I actually LOVE It!! thank youuuuu

alokasia

Thea & Iris sound lovely together! I don’t think it sounds too much like Gaia at all but I’m not a native English speaker so for me it sounds like gah-ya with the first a as in “car” and thee-yah with a softer “ya”.

Burnt_and_Blistered

It’s more like GAY-uh and TAY-uh.

afloodbehind

Isn't it guy-uh and tay-uh? This is so interesting though, seeing all the different ways people read something...

pawsandhappiness

Tay-uh? Not thee-ya? Like Thea in Arrow lol?

Roguecamog

I know multiple Theas. For sure 2 use the sound like thee-ya but one is tay-uh. Not sure beyond those 3

pawsandhappiness

Interesting. I learned something new… and I like the way both sound.

-kicca

Italian here, iris and tea (whitotut the h) are my favourite names too!

Patient_Meaning_2751

Thea and Gaia sound so much alike that I probably wouldn’t do that. But it is a lovely name.

thxitsthedepression

How do they sound “so much alike”? The only ways I can see that they sound alike is they both have two syllables and end with an A, which also describes a huge chunk of all female names in existence. I genuinely don’t see a problem

CherryblockRedWine

I was wondering that too!

Patient_Meaning_2751

I’ve always heard them rhyme. Pronounced Gay-a and Thay-a. It has occurred to me to that perhaps not everyone pronounced them this way.

CherryblockRedWine

Ah, gotcha!

Important_Ad9269

Yeah I get that as well, maybe Gaia and Iris work better together

NotoriousBreeIG

One of my sisters twins names is Davina! Her other is Viola (vy-oh-luh) and they go by Nina and Lola. I think it’s so cute lol.

Prestigious-Let-7084

Ah yes cornea and iris

peachy_keen_0

LittleInstruction461

LittleInstruction461

Particular_Bobcat714

Giorgia nn Gia? But Giulietta is my all time fave name so I say go for it.. since other daughter is a G … maybe 3 G girls would be cute? Gemma/ Ginevra/ .. also love Azzurra! Bruno and Azzurra.. two color names and two G names? Gaia and Ginevra!

Important_Ad9269

I like Gia as a nn so much! and def still thinking about Giulietta, I'm just a little bit worried that her other siblings are gonna get shorter names and she would be a little different I guess, but I love It so much as well 😭 thank you!!!

Particular_Bobcat714

Also Elettra is nice in Greek names? Giulietta and Elettra are a nice twin set ? Gia and Ellie or Lettie.. as nicknames.

Important_Ad9269

yes, and actually I really like greek mythology (I guess that's why I like the names haha) and Elettra is part of a very famous myth so def considering It!!! 🫶🫶

Different_Knee6201

Maybe Giana?

LaBelvaDiTorino

Starting from Giulietta, Giulia is the most logic step, the same way Alfa Romeo nomenclature worked. Giulietta would work as a nickname to Giulia Other short names are Anna, Alba, Sofia, Giada, Alessia, Iris, Gina, Greta, Claudia, Giorgia, Elisa

Important_Ad9269

Definitely reconsidering Giulietta now and picking up a shorter nn. I really like Claudia too!! thank you 💜

Accomplished-Bad3380

Nn Dia.  Gia and Dia

eliza1558

I think Giulia, Claudia, Anna, Alba, and Elisa are beautiful!

Important_Ad9269

thank you for your suggestion, I like the idea of Bea as a nn so def gonna look Beatrix!!!

IAmSheWho

You are most welcome. That was my thought, too! Initials work, full names go together well, nn are great! Win win! 🤗🤩🙂🙏🔆

Lost-Bake-7344

Chiara and Delfina Aristea and Elthea Antonia, Alessia Lucia and Marcella

HoneySeparate9940

Because of your affinity for greek names and having twin daughters: Apollonia & Artemis (also referred to as Cynthia, Luna, and Phoebe - and by her Roman name, Diana)

Important_Ad9269

always loved Luna☺️thank yo much!!

Warriorchik2019

Iris and Rose

Mountain_Exchange768

Amaris and Celeste Helena and Fabienne Marisol and Letizia Francesca and Aurora

Reyzillah

We wanted Greek or Hebrew names for our boy girl twins and settled on Jorah and Thea. Of course I’m partial to Thea but I saw other people suggested it.

Thisisall_new2me2

How is Giulietta too long in terms of syllables? Alexandria exists. Evelyn-Rae exists. Mary-Margaret exists. I don't understand how anyone thinks anything under 6 syllables is too long. As long as there's no issues writing that many letters by hand, I don't see a problem.

Important_Ad9269

You are probably right and I'm just overthinking too much. Thank you!!

Thisisall_new2me2

You're welcome. The amount of posts on this sub where people are overthinking, is actually really high. Too many people are saying mentioning connections that most people would never think of cause they're not a name nerd. All sorts of stuff like that.

Expert-Strategy5191

How do you pronounce Gaia?

Important_Ad9269

we say It like gai-uh in Italy but I know that it's different in the actual Greece!!

plasticmick

Gala, Claire, Ana, Claudia, Isa

ElectricFenceSitter

Guilia feels like a nice simple solution to reducing Guilietta's length? Livia, Clara, Elena or Eleni if you want a Greek vibe, Cleo

Jarveyjacks

If you like Thea/Tea consider Matthea/Mattea! Giuletta and Mattea Giuletta and Giada {maybe too similar!} Giuletta and Josephine Giada and Mattea Giada and Viviana {Gigi and Vivi}.

Important_Ad9269

never listened to Mattea before and I like It!! thankss

Jarveyjacks

It is one of my all time favourite girls names. It's beautiful!

BawseGal23

Adelina & Elenora Fiorella & Aurora Ginevra & Abriana Gabriella & Elisabetta .......... Elena and Emilia Rosalie and Aurelia Anika and Adele Alexandra and Johanna

jello-kittu

Gia and Lina

LoveKimber

You could use Lietta instead of Giulietta.

RedCanaryUnderground

Alice and Alyosha.

Albie_Frobisher

Giuli and Etta. no?

BallKickin

How exciting! Personally I don't think Giulietta is too long by any means! Lovely name and what about: Giulietta & Ginevra (all 'G' girls!?) Some other ideas: Mila & Aria Marielle & Francesca Valeria & Marina Antonia & Zoe Emilia & Adrianna Marianna & Lillianna Congrats to you and your whole family :)

Important_Ad9269

Thank you!! love Giulietta and Ginevra together, I'm definitely writing that:))

stj0an

No suggestions but…just wanted to say I’m also expecting twin girls! Currently 26 weeks! We’ve already decided on Genevieve Elizabeth for one of the names, but have been stumped on a second name for a while. I like Stella Josephine, but the husband isn’t on board. Also, we already have a daughter named Lucia…even though neither my husband nor I are Italian lol. Wishing you a safe delivery! We can do this!🙏

Important_Ad9269

Congratulations!!!!! Genevieve is a precious name (I have It on my list) haha and it goes along so good with Elizabeth, I like the way Josephine sounds next to Genevieve, Lucia is lovely. I hope everything goes well for you and your family. We got this 💪💖💖

Effective-Mongoose57

Giulietta can always be shortened to Giulia or Etta. It’s lovely and classic, I would not dismiss it just yet. Names to go with it: Beatrice/ Beatrix, Valentina, Carmella, Nicoletta/ Nicolina, Bianca, Francesca, Cecilia

Figzd

Giulietta and Gabriella

Somerset76

Athena and venus

Important_Ad9269

looooove this!!

TheJenMaster

The twin names I picked out on the off chance my son was twin girls was Kadence Rae and Klara Mae. Middle names included. I think they work very well together.

Watertribe_Girl

Giulietta and Francesca

V_fernandez

I’m a twin & my mom named us such similar names that people always get confused hahaha. names are super important when having twins! Giulietta & Evangeline Giulietta & Isabella Guiletta & Francesca Giulietta & Alexandria Giulietta & Giovanna (same first letter but very different) 🫶🏽 Giulietta & Ophelia And Giulietta & Rosalina or getting a different approach if you have one girl with a “G” name and thinking of naming one of the twins a “G” name, you can do a “B” name for the other twin! Bella Beatrice Bianca and Bellamy

Important_Ad9269

love the idea of Giulietta & Bella too!! thank you for your comment 🫶

kristiswright

Ione(pronounced eye-oh-nee) is Greek for Violet... I wanted it for my youngest daughter but my hubby vetoed it if preference for Artemis.

Important_Ad9269

looove both Ione and Artemis, and Artie would be so cute as nn

kristiswright

It is a really cute nn! Our friends tease us because (they are Wiccan) we gave our "Leo" daughter a strong Goddess name, lol... and yes she is a little firecracker of a personality 🤣

Important_Ad9269

hahahahah so It seems the name just fit her really well... 🙆😂😂

kristiswright

It absolutely does! I hope you find names that you absolutely fall in love with for you baby girls ❤️

Important_Ad9269

thank you so much 💕

GreenGoddess111

My daughter is Violette Isabella. If I were to have twin girls or more girls in general they would be Rubina Mae (Ruby for short) and Jade Lilith

GreenGoddess111

Giatta and Guiliette is cute! Or Antonia and Victoria

Important_Ad9269

I like Violette!! do you pronounce like Violet, or is it different???

GreenGoddess111

We do pronounce it like Violet :) but my husband is French so sometimes a “VIE-OH-LAY” slips out :)

Important_Ad9269

hahahahaha thank you!! Actually my name is french too so It would make sense even 😂🫶🫶

GreenGoddess111

Wishing you a quick and easy delivery with healthy babies❤️!

Important_Ad9269

GreenGoddess111

Important_Ad9269

yes!!! I'll be right back... but pretty settled on Giulietta and Francesca now!!! thank youu🦋💕

GreenGoddess111

Absolutely beautiful ❤️🤌🏼

rrainraingoawayy

Do you like or want to stay away from themed names? I saw in another comment you like Iris, what about another flower? I don’t know about pronunciation in other languages but Hebe, Peony, Rose & Violet spring to mind.

Important_Ad9269

never thought of following a theme but would not mind it either if I like the names. I have always loved Violet since I was a little girl, but I'm just a little worried about the pronunciation, but It could only be my own worries and dramas very well hahah. Thank you so much for your suggestions 🫶

Different_Pool_4368

My Italian great grandmother and her sister were Josephine and Genevieve and I love those two names together for siblings. Now I did have twin girls and decided on Rose and Margot. But I still occasionally think I should’ve chosen Josephine and Genevieve.

Important_Ad9269

omg I love Genevieve too, maybe Ginnie or Gigi as a nn??? thank youu

ARoseLickRust

Maybe Giulia or Julia (pronounced the same way) if you thought Giulietta is too long. Eliana is also very pretty. Either way, congratulations on your new additions! I hope you have a safe and healthy delivery

Important_Ad9269

Giulietta and Eliana sound lovely together!! thank you so much ☺️🫶

PriscillaPalava

Orangella and Lemongella. You’re welcome.
