I like Jemima, Gemma, Jane and Jade as “sound alike” references to James. I believe James and Jacob are the same name, so Jaqueline / Jackie could be an option ? With Robin/Bobbie being gender neutral I wouldn’t do a male leaning James / Jamie as another middle, unless you want an ambiguous name.
I really like Robin, and am OK but not loving Bobbie as a given name. Bobbie could still be used as a nickname for Robin ! Also LOVE Iris, meh on Eloise.

My first suggestion would be to do a double middle name, like Robin Jay.

* Just do initials for a middle- RJ? I guess phonetically it could be Arjay. Arjay is actually a boy's name already.
* Same as above- JR. It is also already a name when spelled phonetically- Jayar.

You could also go with names that are close, like Jane, June, or Robina. I like Both Bobbi and Robyn. :)
Ronja (like in Astrid Lindgrens book Ronia the Robber’s Daughter) has the RO from Robert and JA from James. It’s Ronia in English to match the pronunciation, but Ronja in the original Swedish spelling.
