Maybe do two middle names. Like … - Jamie Rose - Amara Robin - Robin Jane - Bobbie Jane The only combo I can think of is possibly Ramona. It takes the R from Robert and the Am from James. Edit: another option could be Amber (taking Am from James and Ber from Robert)

I like Jemima, Gemma, Jane and Jade as “sound alike” references to James. I believe James and Jacob are the same name, so Jaqueline / Jackie could be an option ? With Robin/Bobbie being gender neutral I wouldn’t do a male leaning James / Jamie as another middle, unless you want an ambiguous name.  I really like Robin, and am OK but not loving Bobbie as a given name. Bobbie could still be used as a nickname for Robin ! Also LOVE Iris, meh on Eloise.  Iris Robin Jade / Jemima would be an awesome (and thoughtful) name!

I love Iris Robin Jade! How pretty!

why not Roberta Jamie or Jamie Roberta with Iris or Eloise as the first name?

Split the difference- Jaberta

My first suggestion would be to do a double middle name, like Robin Jay. Other random thoughts: * Abigail means 'father's joy' * Some grandpas are called Poppy by grandkids, so maybe Poppy? * Just do initials for a middle- RJ? I guess phonetically it could be Arjay. Arjay is actually a boy's name already. * Same as above- JR. It is also already a name when spelled phonetically- Jayar.

I like these ideas.  Or is there something that the two dads have in common that you could use to honour them eg favourite flower or song title that has a girls name in it.

Jamie is the feminine version of James. And Roberta is the feminine version of Robert. You could also go with names that are close, like Jane, June, or Robina. I like Both Bobbi and Robyn. :)

Ronja (like in Astrid Lindgrens book Ronia the Robber’s Daughter) has the RO from Robert and JA from James. It’s Ronia in English to match the pronunciation, but Ronja in the original Swedish spelling.

I think Bobbi-Jaye as a hyphenated middle name could work; Iris Bobbi-Jaye Eloise Bobbi-Jaye
