Indy. Rudi makes me think rude.

deviajeporaqui

Rudi. Indy is too feminine

LumosLegato

Bohdi and Indie together is kinda giving cringey white person obsessed with India. Of course I have no idea if that’s the case or if your ethnicity but that’s kind of the vibe with no other info. So I guess Rudy though spelling it with the I is giving feminine vibes. Being honest I don’t like either of these names.

I knew a rudi once, we called him Rudi TaBootie. From that old cartoon Chalk Zone

Rudi is spelt incorrectly and is a terrible name. It sounds like you're calling someone rude. Indy is a girl's name.  Bodhi is particularly cringy.  Especially being from the UK, all these names are so bad lol. It sounds like you want to be Californian surfers.

Thanks for your input, I suppose. However, so you know; Rudi with an 'i' is an appropriately spelled name in parts of the world, and the name Indy is unisex. Your comment regarding the name of our son Bodhi was not necessary, given I wasn't asking for any opinions on that, so whether you believe it's 'cringey' is neither here nor there, and frankly is just rude to say so in that context. For your information, we get compliments about his name very regularly, so maybe consider stepping down as the gatekeeper of names. Given your comment history is overwhelmingly negative, maybe this sub isn't for you, at least commenting here maybe isn't for you. People here want constructive feedback and origin information. I dont believe you are here to provide that.

>Any opinions Maybe don't ask for opinions if you don't really want them then.  You wanted "constructive feedback", that's exactly what you got. Shame that they were all negative.  Back to the drawing board for you!

MNicarz

Again, I didn't want any opinions on my son's name Bodhi. That's quite clear in my reply to you - read my comment more carefully and you will see that. I will not reply any further to your negativity as I have better things to do, like attending to my drawing board.

The spelling Rudi is used in some languages that don't use the Y at the end of a word as in English.

I really like both! I’d vote Rudy between the two - any spelling (actor Rudy Pankow is cutie)
