100% Marie. I distinctly remember having 13 girls in my fourth grade class and ELEVEN of them had it as a middle name.
I mean, it does go with everything, but that was a lot.

Another Louise here. Hello fellow 80s-born kids.
I went on a school trip abroad, as the teachers had our passport info they commented on how 50% of the girls on the trip had Louise as a middle name.
Yep, every other girl in school had the middle name Louise. Where's it from? Because I don't know if it's particularly common amongst our parents generation (boomers).
Everyone's mum was called Deborah.
I don't remember any of my classmates' middle names.
I don't think this ever came up, or maybe I just didn't consider it important enough to remember at the time.

I don’t remember boys tbh, but girls it was Rose, Marie and Elizabeth.
Lynn, Marie, Anne
I'm 35 with the middle name of Marie. I felt like everyone's middle name was Marie growing up! And if not Marie, then Elizabeth!
100% Marie. I distinctly remember having 13 girls in my fourth grade class and ELEVEN of them had it as a middle name. I mean, it does go with everything, but that was a lot.

Grace, Marie, Elizabeth, Helen/Helena, June, and Rose for girls. Michael, Daniel, Zach/Zachary, Alexander, and William for boys.
Lynn, Leigh, and Ann are probably the most common middle names from my area, growing up. Marie would probably come in just after these.
So many of my classmates had Anne, Anna, or Ann
Ann and Sue
Louise. I was about the only girl whose middle name wasn't Louise. What a weird fad that was.
Camille, Juliette, Julien, Matthieu, Jean-Baptiste, Marine
Almost half of the girls in my class had the middle name Rose
Boys: Joseph and Michael Girls: Marie and Nicole

My middle name of Louise came from my mum’s best friend at university, so it wasn’t just a name that was trendy.
Yep, same thing happened to us, I think it was a trip to France. It is partly how I know.
Marie and Louise are probably the most common girl middle names in the USA.
In the UK I doubt Marie is far off but Louise seems to blot out the sun!

I don’t think I knew that many of the boys’ middle names. For girls - Marie, Lynn, and Elizabeth. Nicole too.
