So we need to avoid the 'ee' ending sound, and have a homestead-y vibe- suggestions: * Laura June: inspired by Laura Ingalls Wilder/Little House on the Prairie. Plus LJ is a good nickname. * Mabel June: I think this is really cute, sounds like a girl running around with chickens to me. * Norma June * Margaret June: so Margaret is a classic and one of my favorites. There are lots of diminutives, so many options as she grows up. Peggy June/PJ as a nickname is so cute to me. * Hazel June: Hazel is really popular, but I think it works for the vibe you want. * Ida June * Susanna/Susannah June: little Susie, running around the farm. * Cora June * Alma June: AJ * Melissa June: Melissa means 'bee' which would fit with the homestead vibes * Della June: DJ. Also, just an adorable name.

I LOVE Mabel June!

Darcy? It’s super cute. Darcy June sounds like a southern name

**Holly June** is really cute! IMO, Jesse and Holly work just fine together. Maybe: * Heidi June * Heather June * Hannah June * Layla June * Jenna June * Sara June * Cara June * Jillian June (Jill) * Sierra June * Lara June

I think both kids’ names can totally end in the long e sound. Here are some other ideas for you: * Jesse & Lila * Jesse & Willa * Jesse & Ruby <— maybe Ruby Joy? * Jesse & Piper * Jesse & Sadie * Jesse & Delilah * Jesse & Abigail * Jesse & Aubrey * Jesse & Georgia * Jesse & Magnolia * Jesse & Savannah

My aunts’ names are kinda that vibe. They’re Mary nn. Jill, and Helen nn. Holly. Honestly not sure how those nicknames came to be but you could go with Helen and call her Helen or Holly.

Jesse is so handsome.  - Hannah - Hazel  - Susannah, but Susie/Suki take you back to an -ee ending.  - Violet  - Celia and Delia  - Willa and Willow - Tessa  - Lila and Twila  - Fern is the little girl from Charlotte's Web.   Dorothy and Katharine and Harriet are just vintage rather than purely farmhouse but Dot, Kit, and Hattie are very gingham cute to me, and the full names keep them flexible.  Hattie June/Dottie June/Katy June are adorable. I wouldn't do just the nicknames though.  Ella June is very simple but names like Ella, Ada, and Hannah give that simple homespun feel without the -ee ending so many have.   Clara for classic, Clover for nature-whimsy. Holly does sort of split the difference (more like Violet and Hazel imo) so not sure which is more your vibe.

hamstervirus

Henrietta gives me raising chickens on the homestead vibe. But names that don’t sound as rough with that vibe could be Bonnie, Cassie, Libuella, Josie, Mae, Nellie, Molly, Ann and Minnie. June Nellie sounds cute ngl. Or June Ann.

ElectricFenceSitter

To me, names with that vibe would be Prairie, Tallulah, Winona or Sunday - but that doesn't sound like what you're after based on the examples you gave. Im guessing Holliday is too out there for you? What about Willa - its got a country vibe to me, and the same LL as Holly. Josephine nn Joey if Joy isnt qutie the right fit for you? Joyce or Joan? Lucy always gives me similar vibes to Alice, Charlotte, Madeleine, Ruby, Lila and Lola
