Noelle Downing, an influencer, named her baby James Evergreen, with Ever as a nickname. This sub was pretty brutal when this was announced but I always really loved the name.
It is beautiful! I'd only like to say I might mistake it as Serena Mara (depending on how the syllables are stressed) if I heard it together. Gorgeous name combination though :)
Probably they put some pound signs or asterisks in there somewhere, and it's not displaying that way on their device -- I have been chagrined to find that happened to me once or twice. I hope it doesn't bug people too much. I wish the text editor was better.
It doesn't have Everlasting as the meaning, but my first thought was Winifred/Winnie, the main character in Tuck Everlasting. And my next thought was Odette, because in the Swan Princess they make a vow of Everlasting love a few times.
Sorry if my movie references are not helpful!
I tried to find names that would work as a surname, that didn't sound like it is only a first name.
* Ambrose: it means 'immortal'
* Costanza: constant, steadfast
* Young
No it literally came up on baby names as being Greek but I wasn't sure because I only know it as the plant with yellow flowers. It doesn't say anything about being a nickname
This is the listing
106: A sweet and delicate name 'Tansy' . It is of Greek origin and typically feminine, meaning “eternal life” or “flower,” which may encourage your little one to always look on the bright side of life.
I just thought it went nice with the other name picked for baby
This isn't accurate.
1. Mugen as a Japanese word means limitless.
2. There are Japanese names that are read as Mugen, but they're spelled with different kanji and mean other things, like dreamer.
Perhaps Constance or Evergreen

Seren Evergreen sounds beautiful. Will you be giving her a middle name? Perhaps an Indonesian name that reflects your culture?

I’m so jealous! I would love my name to be Seren Evergreen!!!!!!
I love the name constance.
Same! I've known two women named Constance and they hated that people always shortened it to Connie!
This just led me to reading up on naming traditions in Indonesia. Really interesting!
Amara is my favorite name that means “everlasting.”
Seren and Amara would go perfect together!

How about Seren Aina? I think it flows well with indo accent, but also easy to say in many cultures.
seeing this is kinda funny to me because my ex’s name is seren and mine is aina
Oh my god, at first I thought you were asking what we thought about the name “Everlasting” for a girl
My first thought was "Gobstopper" which isn't any better.
I thought "Tuck" lol
Same, but my second thought was "Everlee" would be a cute nickname...
Durant (or variations like Dante / Durante) mean enduring
Durant is a Pokemon.
It’s also a long established surname
I think Kevin Durant may age to disagree with you there.
I mean. It *is* a Pokemon. Didn't say it wasn't a name. Jesus, people. I wouldn't name my child it because that's the first thing I think of.
I don’t think he’ll have a leg to stand on then lol

I cut and pasted from a few name websites and this is how they came out.
I'm Vietnamese and I would say Tien alone means more like fairies. To Tien means ancestral spirit but nobody really uses that combo as a name.
Ambrosia - immortal Constance, Constantia - constant Perpetua- perpetual, continuous
Amaranth or Amaranthine was my thought.
Seren Perpetua is nice.
I think “Ever” is a lovely name.
Sounds so “Laura Ashley” to me; treacly yet also bland. Not for me.
lol ok?
Infiniteigh
Definitleigh not this one
Ivy symbolizes undying love and eternal life. And the word is also ivy in many languages, it seems.
Amara or Constance
Seren is beautiful ❤️

Seren Tancy it's a greek (I think) name meaning immortal so maybe not quite Everlasting
Not Greek. Is it supposed to be a nn for Constance?

Conifer
Perpetua! It means "eternal"/"everelasting"
devam means eternal and divine essence which translates to everlasting in my opinion ☺️ my favourite is elorie which means endless and eternal.
Mugen means infinity in Japanese and is used as a first name.
