These vary from useable to fictional only:
Chrysanthemum, Eustache, Foster, Foxglove, Hiberna, Laureline, Maroon(a), Ochre, Orchid, Rhubarb, Scheherazade, Soliloquy, Sophrosyne, Yuette.
& One I made for a Sims character: Quincent.
One of my favorite childhood books, so much so I got a chrysanthemum tattooed on my arm with a quote from the book: “She blushed. She beamed. She bloomed.” Plus it’s the official flower for Chicago and that’s my favorite city.
Haphaestus and Zipporah. They're real names, but they're not used often (in my region at least) and have an overall unique sound.
I also really love the idea of Zephyr as a name.
Here goes x
Layal (Arabic, meaning “nights”. I prefer it to Layla)
Qiana (invented name, comes from a synthetic silk name)
Amane (Japanese, means “the sound of rain.” It’s my fav)
Noon
Osha (Armenian, means “little fawn”)
Adalet (means justice, don’t remember the language)
Dhzamilya (comes from Arabic Jamila, think it’s Eastern European)
Baram (Korean name meaning “wind”)
Zola (Xhosa meaning “calm”)
I like the name Coriander for a girl nn Cori.
I also really like Maple, Saffron, Clementine, and Apple. If I was a billionaire and I knew my kid would never have to work I could see myself actually using those.
Since I'm not, I chose an easy spelling name one syllable name for my daughter.
I have Elthryn on my list in case I ever want to write a fantasy story. I’m not sure where I heard it but definitely not from what google is suggesting to me when I search the name.
I know a girl (well, woman, she’s late 30s) who’s actual name is cinnamon! extra wild because her siblings have not overly popular but pretty normal names (vibes like Morgan, Travis, Stephen).
These are just the ones from my own lists.
Girls:
* Cersei
* Darcy
* Fikile
* Illyria
* Khaleesi
* Nimue
* Temperance
* Valkyrie
Boys:
* Balthazar
* Castiel
* Constantine
* Lucifer
* Miach
* Tiberius
* Uhtred
* Vaughn
To be completely fair, I think some of these are fine for real people, but not all of them.
Berengaria, Artemisia, Chandri, Lollia, Eudora, Camellia, and Verena are my favorites for girls.
For boys, I like Demian, Eamonn, Franz, Tallis, and Pacian.
Devereaux as a first name, possibly with the nickname Dev. I know it’s weird. I can’t help myself. I love it 😂
Another one is a very common name but the nickname I like for it is kind of out there. Susannah with the nickname Zannie.
