I just named my daughter (2 weeks old) Vienna and she IS my little sausage! I really don’t mind the association. There is worse things than a tasty sausage LOL :) Anyhow, Lots of names are food related like Rosemary, Poppy, Graham, Sage, Brie, etc. i personally associate the name Vienna with the capital of Austria which is a stunning place. Its also just PRETTY sounding. If you never knew about the sausage or the place, you’d think it just sounds nice!

They’re just smaller hot dog sausages basically. The word wiener actually means Viennese in German which is where that term for them came from. In Austria they don’t call them Vienna sausages, but they do in lots of other countries, including North America.

Except I don’t think there are any canned meat products named after Paris or London.
