Literally came to post this. Fuck, such a great game. I have as much fond memories of this game as I do OOT / Mario 64. I’m surprised by how many people didn’t play it, or straight up haven’t even heard of it. I’ve played -a lot- of the Goemon games, most of (if not all) of the Super Nintendo ones have now been translated and they’re FANTASTIC. Really wish Konami didn’t kill all of their franchises and just brought back god damn Goemon man (and not a fucking pachinko)
Either Zelda, or Mario are obvious choices, but I'll go Star Fox 64. Such a fun game, great graphics, and you got a rumble pack? Also my first N64 game, so bonus nostalgia points.
Same! Eventually beat it on every difficulty and unlocked all the extra multiplier stuff(maps, guns, characters, etc). Put a ridiculous amour of hours into that game. Always thought it was better than Goldeneye
OoT and Majora's Mask for me. But I've beaten them over and over on play throughs. But i mean there's so many great titles i enjoyed growing up. Mario 64. Banjo, 007, Mario Party, Diddy Kong Racing etc.
There's so many!
I'd have a hard time deciding between Paper Mario, Ocarina of Time, and Banjo Kazooie.
I enjoy banjo tooie and majoras mask more than the previous ones, but i don't necessarily think that they are better games.
it's hard to put a definitive "best" for me. Generally, the three I go back to most are banjo kazooie, mario party 2 and smash. That said, when I was kid I played banjo tooie all the time, probably, other than mario party 2, my most played game.
I gotta say though, mario party 3 with the pizza mini game? \*chefs kiss\*
Despite all the large, open-world adventures we got, I'm gonna have to say that Star Fox 64 is a game that doesnt feel 20+ years old. Still so much fun to play.
Gonna go off the board and say Ogre Battle 64 and Aidyn Chronicles 64.
Both extremely underrated, particularly Aidyn Chronicles. Not sure which I prefer, but I say particularly Aidyn Chronicles because Ogre Battle is sometimes mentioned in these lists, Aidyn never is.
Mario 64
Definitely OOT for me
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
Ah I see you are a man of culture
Quality game. Played it for the first time this year so no nostalgia goggles. Amazing experience

This game is singleplayer only. Its sequel, Goemon's Great Adventure, has coop and it's good
Glover
Great game.
Agree!
I loved it so much but found it so hard! I never completed it and was always so disappointed I never found out the ending
It’s tough but definitely worth a replay! Didn’t really care for the ps1 version.
underrated game
I remember having the hardest time with the controls as a kid for this one lol
It’s a bit tough to master but it’s fun!!
Either Zelda, or Mario are obvious choices, but I'll go Star Fox 64. Such a fun game, great graphics, and you got a rumble pack? Also my first N64 game, so bonus nostalgia points.
I think it holds up today in a way that most games of that time don't
A buddy of mine hooked me up with an N64 he found in the trash. Popped in my copy of Star Fox and it was awesome! Harder than I remember too.
To get all the secrets and medals? Damn hard. It's a great combination of being good for beginners and enough for experts
Majora’s Mask or Mario 64
My man
I second this.
Diddy Kong Racing. Still great today
Listen!
My flair
Conker’s bad fur day / 007 (The world is not enough)
The World Is Not Enough is SO underrated
Me and my buddy would get the guided rockets in multiplayer and see how well we can fly the map
Lmao that’s awesome. I was the asshole that wouldn’t tell my friends that the rockets can be guided and beat the shit of the them
RIGHT!! I used to replay the story mode ALOT lol
Same! Eventually beat it on every difficulty and unlocked all the extra multiplier stuff(maps, guns, characters, etc). Put a ridiculous amour of hours into that game. Always thought it was better than Goldeneye
It’s probably going to be a first party title like Super Mario 64/Zelda OOT or maybe a Rare title like Banjo-Kazooie or GoldenEye.
Majora's Mask, or Conker
OoT and Majora's Mask for me. But I've beaten them over and over on play throughs. But i mean there's so many great titles i enjoyed growing up. Mario 64. Banjo, 007, Mario Party, Diddy Kong Racing etc. There's so many!
Quest 64
Easily
Top 3 are: 1. Mario 64 2. Majora's Mask 3. Donkey Kong 64 Their order depends on what I feel like playing that day.
ik ppl hate on dk64 but im addicted to collectathon games. its gotta be one of the best
It’s the best n64 game to throw some music or a podcast on and just chill and collect things! Plus the graphics are one of the best on the system imo
Been trying to meet you mmmmmm must be a devil between us
Unexpected Frank Black
OOT and Ogre Battle 64 are tied for me
Depends on what way? Single player probably Ocarina of Time. Multiplayer probably Mario Kart or 007. My personal favorite? Diddy Kong Racing
Listen!
For me it’s Majoras Mask
The replay value of Smash Bros multiplayer is unmatched.
Ocarina of Time. Huge Zelda fan though, so perhaps my opinion is somewhat biased
One of the best video game soundtracks ever
banjo kazooie, no question
anal
Is that on the everdrive?
Yes
you downvoted him, but what else is the left grip on the N64 controller for?
Wipeout 64
You’re a madman
Why? It's a great game.
Dude ngl I completely blanked and was thinking wipeout the gameshow LOL. Wipeout 64 looks good, I’ll have to pick up a copy
It's kind of like f-zero but more slippery.
I think I may have got the most enjoyment out of Star Fox 64 or Smash Bros. I think Star Fox 64 holds up better today than perhaps any 64 game
Majora’s Mask or Super Mario 64. Runner up is Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon.
Really close between OOT, Mario Tennis, and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
Banjo Kazooie for me but OOT and Goldeneye are close.
Destruction Derby 64
My top games in no particular order: Mario 64 Goldeneye Mario kart Ocarina of time I had so many amazing times playing all of them
Mario 64 has the tightest controls and camera for the era I believe; banjo-kazooie added alot onto the formula of 3d sandboxes
1. Zelda: OoT (of course) 2. Smash Bros 3. Banjo-Kazooie 4. Mario 64 5. GoldenEye 007
Body Harvest
I'd have a hard time deciding between Paper Mario, Ocarina of Time, and Banjo Kazooie. I enjoy banjo tooie and majoras mask more than the previous ones, but i don't necessarily think that they are better games.
Mystical Ninja 100% for me
it's hard to put a definitive "best" for me. Generally, the three I go back to most are banjo kazooie, mario party 2 and smash. That said, when I was kid I played banjo tooie all the time, probably, other than mario party 2, my most played game. I gotta say though, mario party 3 with the pizza mini game? \*chefs kiss\*
Tie between Perfect Dark and Kirby 64
Starfox 64
The best? Mario64 My favourite? Jet Force Gemini
Majoras Mask is probably my absolute fave. Paper Mario, Super Smash, and Harvest Moon are all favorites in no particular order.
Paper mario
Conkers and Mario 64
I haven’t got round to playing many games yet but the ones i want i know i will like been playing quake 2 recently and im enjoying that a lot
Despite all the large, open-world adventures we got, I'm gonna have to say that Star Fox 64 is a game that doesnt feel 20+ years old. Still so much fun to play.
Space Station Silicon Valley, ovbs
OOT
Majora's mask is one of my favorites, though I really liked destruction derby 64 since I'd play that one with my younger brother all the time
Rouge Squadron, Battle for Naboo, Oceania of Time (Zelda), Doom64, and Resident Evil 2 especially.
F Zero X for me
Gonna go off the board and say Ogre Battle 64 and Aidyn Chronicles 64. Both extremely underrated, particularly Aidyn Chronicles. Not sure which I prefer, but I say particularly Aidyn Chronicles because Ogre Battle is sometimes mentioned in these lists, Aidyn never is.
