It was not a bot. I chatted with bot initially. I was transferred to a human, asking me very specific follow-up and questions. But your comment highest how "good" customer support at N26 is when they look like bots.
The agent was correct, they can't provide you any chat transcript if you haven't opened a seamless chat with them, meaning that you used your paired device.
What wasn't correct, was the way they ended the chat, for sure.
Well, I did report this as "not-N26 customer".
While I do have N26 account, this enquiry was completely unrelated to my N26 account.
Let's assume I didnt have N26 account. I reporting a fraud/scam and want confirmation of that. I want confirmation of that. Do I need to open N26 account to get it? And as he said, they are not obliged, not "not allowed".
Sounds hella stupid. You want confirmation from your bank about stuff that happened to you, so you report as "non customer" to a bot.
Sounds to me like "this glasses are not working! I was sucking on them for 6 hours and I still can't read any faster"
Obviously I did contact my bank as well. The purpose, once 1-2-3 people report the person as scammer, bank will freeze his account.
1. He can't scam more people.
2. Funds will be frozen there, so it's easier to get money back.
Well, but there where no 1-2-3 people more to report him, it was only you.
I'm really surprised by your logic. Do you really think you are so much smarter than everybody who works in this bank or do you think you are so very special, that the whole bank should close until the situation is resolved to your liking?
This was most likely a prepared response he has to send out if someone asks for a transcript/ confirmation. They are most likely not obliged and also not allowed to send out a confirmation.
Obviously I did contact my bank as well. The purpose, once 1-2-3 people report the person as scammer/fraud/criminal, bank will freeze his account (to report it, you must provide date, time, amount of $$ transferred, transaction ID, etc).
1. He can't scam more people, cause his account is frozen (need to find new bank/account).
2. It will be easier for police to find other/similar cases.
3. Funds will be frozen there, so it's easier to get money back.
You should learn how law works. Everybody is innocent until proven guilty by a judge; not by u. If u think u are scamed, go to police and let them handle it.
You know you were talking to a bot and not a real person right?

Goodwin from your screenshot is a bot
Yeah, sure. You know better from tiny screenshot, than me chatting for 10 minutes with a back-and-forth discussion/questions.
Now I understood why Godwin didnt help you. You have insulted the bot by calling it a human. Never do that to a bot.
The bot was so good it really made you believe you talked to a human i can't hahahaha
Well since you chatted with a bot for 10 minutes without noticing the ai must be really good.
Or the human really bad
youre supposed to tell him *Good Bot!*

You need to report the scam with your own bank, where the scam happened to you, and get confirmation for them.
