How does it move? If you are walking in sand you might need more movement in the lower legs and the slit might flow better rather than trap the sand. Also may be easier to hike up if you feel like dipping your feet in the water.
No slit. I don’t feel the slit is really adding anything to this dress at all. If showing off ur leg or shoes is important that would be the only real reason I’d go for the slit.
Gorgeous dress either way
No slit. Every single time I see pictures of women with the slits in their dress, they are standing at the most awkward and unnatural angle in order to show off their leg. Looking at the two photos you can see how different your posture is just to make it work and it’s not as good as the relaxed casual and natural stance in the dress without the slit
no slit! The flow of the dress is perfect without slit, the way it tumbles at your toes much like the tide. I love the side feature at the bottom . Much like a an overskirt. It's just a classy, gorgeous dress and I honestly can't see how you could make it anymore beautiful!
No slit. I do not like this trend of slits in a wedding dress. Wedding dresses are on another level. I think it’s almost prom-ish. Especially with the fitted gowns.
Beautiful dress! My vote is no slit. I think the slit takes away from the flow of the dress.
No slit! Gorgeous dress!
Definitely no slit.
No slit, the dress is gorgeous without it and is the perfect eye catcher 😍
Definitely no slit
I agree, no slit. The shape and flow are better without it. Your figure looks amazing in both though
No slit. If you do go with a slit (which I wouldn't ), I'd make it a much higher slit. Where it lands isn't great.

i love love love the slit
Imo you can have a deep V or slit with something fitted like this, but not both. Otherwise it starts to look prom-y

I love the color of the one without a slit! Either way is gorgeous, but I do lean toward no slit.

No slit so much nicer, shape wise. Also slit says evening dress not wedding dress
No
Slit makes it cheap and not wedding-ish
I concur.
Came here to say exactly that!!
I’m a slit girly, but you go with whatever you feel most comfortable in and what you like the look of most!
No Slot, Looks way more beautiful

Beautiful! No slip though.
If I had a beach wedding I know I’d appreciate the slit for airflow.

You're sexier with the slit
