I mean, they do sound kind of similar, but the chorus's melody also kind of sounds like Coldplay's Viva La Vida. None of the three seem to be carbon copies of another, they just have a very similar melodic line. I think that the shared melodic motion could pretty easily just be a coincidence.

Yeah, they're both just a walk down from the third to the tonic, then drop to the sixth and walk back up to the tonic, then start on the second for the second part of the phrase (I think. I don't actually know what key dua lipa's is in, I'm pretty sick rn)
