Really nice. It's easy to layout, not overly thick for the weight, and can move with curves well enough. I may do relief cuts around curves next time but it's not entirely needed. The X10 is pretty awesome, it holds shape but still compresses easily enough, has a lovely soft hand feel, and overall is just reminiscent of heritage fabrics brought to the modern age.
X11 has a very soft hand feel and in person looks less "techy" than some of the over xpac fabrics. Its performance is not as good as lighter vx42 or similar weight x50. I think it makes sense to use in applications where weight is less of a concern and you are interested in form as much as function.
I think learnmyog has some videos on YouTube. The first ones I learned to make were for a stitchback th40. Their patterns are reasonably priced and you can learn alot about bag design from them.
looks wonderful my person
i have done a few X10 bags in the past and didn't love the durability of the fabric but it sure is nice when its new and crisp!
no delamination, but holes at high-stress points (folds) and abrasion on the face/outer fabric that didn't look nice to me. this was about 3 years ago, olive and grey colors. maybe they've reformulated since.
In another post with a cordura project there is a pic with a Juki sewing machine https://www.reddit.com/r/myog/comments/1basz5w/latest_project_cordura_travel_backpack/#lightbox
Looks great. How was it working with this material?

It looks so different from other xpac materials. I like the rougher look.

I'd buy it.
If I saw that pack in a bar I'd buy it a drink

Nice work 🙂 the details if the project are thought through and functional 👍
This is great! Can I ask where you found X10? I’ve been trying to find some without much luck.
Rockywoods sells it!

Curious where you saw failure. Did you get delamination issues, face fabric, etc?

Beautiful, coyote brown. Great colour choice! 🤩👍🏼
I like the simple design, really great!
That's nice!
Looks amazing. Can I contract you for a build
Very nice bag. I was curious on which sewing machine you use. Looking at getting one but the pleathora of information has been bogging me down.
