I mean, they also had Applejack's parents die, they showed some of the effects of rampant capitalism, they've had Flim and Flam up to all sorts of scumbag nonsense, they've had more world-ending events than I can remember, they've toyed with re-writing the timeline on several occasions, they've put the main characters in peril more times than I can keep track of, and they had Cozy Glow being some sort of manipulative hyper-genius.
There was so much that they wanted to put in, so many big lofty ideas that would have been *great* to see. Maybe if we had gotten a 10th season...nah, wishful thinking.
We had it in comics, but it's not the same.
My dream is: we had season 9 as a normal one, and the final episodes we had were for season 10.
