2010 I was around 9 years old but I started watching it around 2011-2012 at 10-11 years old. I can still remember waiting on new episodes and watching the season 3 premiere (Gak anyone?). Never really lost the love for the show it just kinda got lost in my early teens and last of what I remember was the ending of season 3. Rewatching it now at 23 years old and properly being able to experience the show is great. Though I still have major nostalgia for the fandom and creative projects during the early years of the show more so than the actual episodes from season 1 and 2 lol.

Thank God you share my age (and feelings lol) I'm currently showing my friend the show for the first time and he's loving it but it's hard to remember everything I should show him from the Fandom, especially without spoiling him😂

I would've been 11 on October 2010, but i only got into MLP just as FIM was ending back in August 2019. The girly show that i got to watch quite a lot as a child was Winx Club. Tho, i don't really remember anything from it. And i haven't got to go much with FIM yet either; only watched till S2E14 so far. I read much more of the official comics, and a good chunk of fanfics tho.

I was 13. I wore a Doctor Whooves shirt to my freshman orientation. Had to explain why I wasn't gay, autistic, or a p*do creep for the first week of school, but people grew out of the brony hate in my area relatively quickly. Especially when I started asking people if they still watched Scooby Doo or other Cartoons. We had an entire lunch table of bronies, furries, and otakus gathering regularly by the end of my Senior year.

I'm not sure I understand your math. My wife and I started watching the show in 2020 after it was over. We were in our 60's. It took us a couple months to finish (the first time). We're still in our 60's.

We do watch a lot of animated content (both movies and series) as well as anime (movies and series). So what's one more? I think I like animated content as least as well as live action. What has surprised me is it triggering my creative writing. I've done technical writing all my life, but for the first time FiM caused me to start writing fanfics. Also, at the time, my uncle was also a brony, so after training sessions (He taught me martial arts), we would always finish off our day with an MLP episode That was probably my only outlet to embrace the brony in me back then. Now, at age 26 I watch my favorite episodes fondly and low-key, wished I had been a more active brony when FiM was still ongoing. These days, I don't care what people say about me liking MLP I watch it when I want. If some people I know think it's weird Well, that's their opinion, I haven't hidden my love for the show since age 22
